    Verisure Alarm

    Ordering and installation was fine. Installation cost was low but monthly charge is very expensive, monitoring service seems to work well.
    They say that you can cancel the subscription and have a dumb alarm but when you try it takes a couple of months to contact customer services - call centre can't do anything. Then told cancellation takes 3 months - so expect to pay for 4-5 months more if you want to cancel the subscription - don't believe what the salesman or service centre says and make sure they log that you want to cancel (they may well deny that you said that).
    So everything is ok apart from the very expensive monthly subscription and difficulty in cancellation. If you want to keep a monitored alarm then others are much cheaper, if you want a dumb alarm then others are also much cheaper due to the cancellation issues.

    I too am conned ! Put my name down I m nut happy with their service , I wish I had done more research my son in-laws told me to go Yale but I though this was good , there are so many con companies this is disgusting !

    Shocking dont do it

    I am angry and annoyed with this company as well. I do not believe the "positive" reviews on this site regarding them. Funny how so many people suddenly sign up on a daily basis. It is all most like they put on positive reviews to cancel out the negative. I have read on other forums and on this one about taking legal action. At first I was not sure, but upon research and the fact I am up at 12:45am being angry with this con of a company i believe I shall be going down the legal route. Along with the person who put a review up about legal action which seems to have got lost.

    I was also told the following

    You own the equipment even after you cancel

    I did not want the "Fog Bomb/ZeroVision smoke barrier" as I do not see the point and secondly I have a health condition which i told the engineer, but he still installed it!!! I told him to take it down and he said "it is free just try it for 6months then they take it back for free at no charge"

    The engineer did not know how to install the product (stick on) he had to come back the next day with another engineer. I have a "spanish" box with spanish instructions which looks 2nd hand

    no where does it say in my contract I have to give notice to cancel. I am done with this company. It is not the price I am angry with it is the lies and the rude arrogant customer service.

    Been two weeks and I have not heard back from them regarding my complaint. They said they have emailed the "engineers" and will get back to be. I know for a fact they have not emailed the "Engineers"

    When I phoned up to complain but also to resolve the issue. I was jsut shouted at with:

    "Read the contract, read the contact, read the contract..." Everytime I tried to speak.

    2nd time I called I got told the same thing, I then said I have it... and the chap I spoke to was saying somthing completly different to what was on my contract. When I said send me the contract you have he kept dodging the question, When I asked to be put through to the engineer/engineers manager he could not do it. Claimed he emailed them...
    How can you trust these people when the customer service is really bad, and the engineers are just as bad.

    They basically sublet the installation to cowboys.

    Editionally when you check the police/NSI Gold Registered. Verisure are not on there...

    Worst mistake I did was choose this company. like i said it is the lieing that has really got to me. I could have paid half the price to set up my own system and qualter the price to have it monitored. But it is the lieing and bad customer service. I really wanted to come to a mutual agreement.

    Also reading reviews that monthly prices rise up and up. The engineer did cocky say after he left they may do that...

    This is all miss selling. if this is not resolved after I call tomorrow then I am also going down the legal route as well.

    Judging from over reviews it looks like its hitting a brick wall trying to get any help from Verisure. The staff probably get treated like rubbish which in turn breeds this toxic sales/customer service environment.

    Seems all to "smash and grab" take youre money and run.

    Amazing system, worked well when I was broken into a few weeks back actually got them out and protected my wife as I was away with work. I could not recommend highly enough worth every penny, there is something you can’t replace in this world and this protects them. Thank you!

    Very good alarm system for my property, very well explained I have not had any of the problems I have seen on here. I am not contracted I have asked and can cancel any time and have a normal alarm after. Very good company no other comes close to the protection I have at my home

    Verisure Smart Alarms at home

    I am really disappointed with Verisure. I paid £299 + VAT to install the system. it's working fine. I was told I can give only 90 days notice. in June 2020 I gave them 90 days notice. I was told that someone will ring me to confirm. I received a call and I was told ok everything is in order and your last payment should be September 2020. I rang them in September and was told that I have to wait for someone to call me and again they want me to pay for 3 months which I cannot afford. Customer service are no good at all. They are only interested in getting new business but not if you want to cancel. they keep putting you off. I rang few times but every time they give me new excuses. I am fed up and really don't know what to do as I am disabled person and am on critical list.

    Dear ladies and gentlemen I too have been conned and miss lead by Verisure. I am planning on taking legal action. Verisure for too long have mis-sold and conned too many people. I too was told the following: 1. You own all the equipment 2. The “fog” is free for 6 months, you can then have it taken out free of charge and carry on paying a flat rate of 29.99 3. I too was told you can cancel the contract anytime with no obligation and no cost involved. You keep the system. 4. I was also told there is no exit fees (leading from the last point) This company lies and sells lies. The support is rubbish when calling up to complain you just get a wall of abuse back. So I say lets stand together I am happy to take your accounts and experiences and show this to my legal team. I shall also be contacting the consumer WatchDog and Offcom. Email me your details united we shall show this company for what they are. A few things: 1. I do not need to know you’re address. Just an email is fine with details of how you have been misled 2. I will not be opening attachments or clicking on links (so please do not send these). 3. I will be going through the Ombudsman hence you and I will not be paying legal costs. 4. No matter how far you are into the contract if you have been misled/mis-sold you have rights. I have contact Verisure to have my issue resolved in a polite manner. However, they are not having any of it, they will not even listen nor act. So, as a whole we can only deduce that this is a common practice with this company.     Our three year contract ended in June 2020. Due to Covid19, and being home bound, we decided this expensive security system was not value for money. Requests to terminate our contract, on phone and emails on several occasions was completely ignored. Eventually their engineer attended to dismantle the alarm system in September. Now, they are claiming payment for the service until the date of dismantling. Their a Customer Services and Finance Department don’t seem to be working in conjunction! You have been warned!

    Gave a secure feeling when working

    Very easy and secure system, but alarm went off early hours of morning, due to faulty part,. There was no response from company, and although I tried to contact the Company for over 6 minutes, at 02:30 AM, I could not get a response.
    After an email, I was contacted by phone, only to be told, when I tried to cancel because of their broken contract, that I was being charged to the end of the contract.
    I am now awaiting them to collect their alarm, that is not working.

    Beware!! Brilliant Sales pitch but as with most companies of this nature fail to advise the small print. Basically had to move house very soon after installation and new house had integrated alarm system so no longer needed. Verisure picked up alarms and sensors, over half still brand new as they had not been installed, chased in May 2018 to advise in this instance was cancellation fee relevant, no one came back. January 2019 chased again still no confirmation. August 2019 received 2 debt recovery letters threatening legal action. Phoned Verisure and can't provide evidence that they had confirmed cancellation fee and keep referring to debt collectors. Bad experience, unprofessional and READ their small print on their contract.
