    Verisure alarm

    My parents got the moonshot shock sensors on their windows installed a while back. Last week they got burgled while out and the guy literally broke into a window that had the shock sensors installed but guess what?? The sensors did nothing, they didn't even realize that the glass had been broken into which in turn meant that no one called to alert my parents. Really let down with the product

    Well if you are prepared to put up with annual price increases - I have had no problems with the system and it working. However if you find you can't afford it or need it anymore then beware! I negotiated a two month price rebate then that stopped and I had to cancel. Three months notice needed at full price and then the cost of "deinstalling" the sytstem which "might vary" Rip off. Cannot recommend

    Moonshot wifi issues

    My parents have absolutely no internet issues, I've run checks online and with their internet provider who both tell me that they have 500mbps+ on both download and upload speed. Despite this, my family keep encountering wifi connectivity issues with the system?? I fail to understand how the system can fail to connect despite the wifi signal being very strong???

Now the alarm keeps going off which sends her into a panic that someone is trying to burgle her again but really there is NOTHING going on. She doesn’t feel safe without a system, especially after she paid for it.

    Do not buy!! My neighbour subscribed to the moonshot package just before he went abroad. Since he’s been on holiday his alarm has gone off several times both in the daytime and at night. I don’t know if the alarm is faulty or if it is just super sensitive, but either way it has ruined what was a very quiet road.

    I've been searching online all day to get some answers as I've also been having problems with my sensors being easily triggered, found out I also have the moonshot sensors. Has anything worked for you??

    Absolutely PISS POOR - I initially signed up for 3 years the went onto a rolling contract to be told over the phone I could cancel with 30 days notice. No new contract was ever sent out to me, and my fault for not chasing. Now being told 3 months notice period and they will come to take the equipment back.

    NEVER EVER BUY FROM THESE SCUM BAGS AGAIN EVEN IF THEY HAVE GOOD REVIEWS.

    One more time, a very disappointed service and no reply to written complaint even if they say it would be responded in 24h.

    On the 24th of June I left my home at 3pm to go on holiday abroad and my husband disconnected by mistake the socket where the panel control is connected. This caused the alarm to go off after some hours when the battery of the panel run out.

    When I go on holidays, my neighbor next door goes twice a day to my house to feed my cat, and the next day, on the 25th, she texted me saying that the alarm was not working when she entered and she could not connect it after leaving. I tried to have a look in the app but we were not able to do anything.

    After a few days with my alarm disconnected at home I contacted Verisure by phone and you told me straight away that the problem was the power supply, so I called back my neighbour and told her to switch on the socket where the panel is plugged and the alarm worked again. That happened on the 27th, that means 4 days WITH NO ALARM DESPITE OF BEING PAYING A MONTHLY FEE FOR YOU TO MONITOR THE STATE OF MY ALARM.

    I am extremely disappointed to YOU NOT CONTACTED MY ABOUT THIS POWER CUT. You sent me an email on the 1st of July for the power cut that happened on the 24th June, 7 days later and when the problem was already sorted. It passed 4 days until the issue was resolved and ONLY BECAUSE I CALLED YOU, NOT BECAUSE YOU CONTACTED ME.

    Very disappointed with the service, I do not not for what I am paying a monthly fee. Definitely, I regret every day to have chosen Verisure, absolutely terrible.

    Very disappointed with Verisure.
    Told when we purchased that because we’d bought the kit outright, we could cancel our monitoring at any point - we wouldn’t be tied into a contract. These guys lie to get a sale then follow up with a poor customer experience for good measure. I will certainly not recommend them to anyone. I can see some positive reviews on here, that’s all well and good. The mark of a credible and trustworthy organisation though, is how they deal with things when there’s a dispute, or things just go wrong. This is where they fall short in my opinion

    I have tried for weeks to get some cameras added on to my account this is proving impossible with this company. I have there alarm system and just wanted some extra cameras added a simple job you would think not for these. There customer service is extremely poor and they don’t care about there customers at all I’ve put my cancellation in ive only been with them 3-4 months and I’ve been trying for the last 2 months to get cameras ive lost all my trust in them and for the money they charge I’m going to go elsewhere with people who don’t lie and let you down constantly. It wouldn’t let me put a 1 star only 2

    the apartment was robbed, the door was broken, I have been trying to contact the company for 8 days, they say they will call back 24-48 hours, but no one calls, the door should be replaced at the expense of the company, but no one says anything, we have been living in a hole in the door, I don't understand what to do next, the company does not respond to my requests

    I was mid sold completely,
    And customer services just continuously apologising but no action…!! I was told at point of sale the up front payment was buying the equipment and it was an 18 month contract… actually the payment wasn’t for the equipment and I’m still not sure want that payment was for and the contact was for 36 month which I would of never knowingly signed.. spoke to several customer services representatives but they obviously are used to these sort of calls and sales tactics!!! Considering you can have systems monitored with similar and better equipment for half the cost… PLEASE CHECK AND DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY…

    Verisure home security system

    The brief pros: really easy to order, fast installation, cheap.

    Once you have the system you realize how extraordinarily awful their customer service is.

    Have a problem you need solving? Their call centre workers don't know anything and need to refer you to another department, that never calls back and if they do they have no idea what your issue is - since Verisure's internal communication is clearly awful.

    Ask to deactivate an alarm while you're doing building works? They'll say they will, then call you every day for 3 months to say your alarm is malfunctioning. Each time they promise to deactivate it, then call you again the next day - since their workers never do anything they promise.

    Try to cancel your account? They won't give you a final invoice to settle up, and will try to stall you, and even send you more invoices past your cancel date.

    The best part. During the pandemic these clowns wouldn't pick up the phone at night or on weekends. Your house could literally be getting burgled and not possible to get anyone easily. As long as criminals don't go after your house on nights or weekends I guess you're okay!

    Do not buy Verisure. You will regret it terribly.

    All is good in general. The alarm goes off.. they ring and is monitored.

    If the alarm goes off and you miss a call... well.... how do you contact them to find out whats going on? The app is terrible so the chat keeps diconnecting and cant get thru on phone. Over an hour i was at work trying to contact using the 2 methods. so i had to ring a neighbour to find out if all was ok........ whats the point in a monitored alarm system if you cant actually contact them if the alarm is going off.

    The app is terrible and dosnt even notify you if there is a trigger,

    Would Half reccoment.... only if you can be 100% sure to answer your phone. ... Im not sure if everyone can say that as i was in the bathroom when my call came thru that i missed.


    Terrible and overpriced for the shocking app that comes with it.

    This is the worst company imaginable it has terrible customer service and the policies that don't make any sense.I have been trying to cancel for OVER 3 MONTHS Now! Absolutely no joyWhen you call them their team can only raise a case to the 'customer care' team. Why they are named this is anyone's gues because the level of service they give, very clearly shows an incredible lack of care.They do not provide call back within the given SLA 2-3 working days. They don't cal back within the times provided (I work and cannot answer them phone during work hours), they don't work weekends, they do t take inbound customer calls. And the chance you get to speak to them they are incredibly rude and blunt! What care do they have for customers.?!Due to the incredibly poor customer service I have cancelled the direct debit as I refuse to pay for a seriously poor customer experience and a service that is not being used!The billing team Is incredibly quick to chase up for money! But when asking about the cancelling and unistallling of the equipment (which they charge £70) they have no clue and have to 'raise a case with the customer care team'. That's another 2-3 days for the call back.... Which if they manage to call back within this SLA they do it not within the times requested... The call is missed and I have to ca back! This is a vicious never ending circle.As the direct debit is cancelled they have send a threatening letter saying the 'debt' will be sold to a debt collection agency only after 2 months of non payments! Who does this! Most company will sell the debt to debt collection agencies after 6 months of arrears!I have rang them up today and have been assured by an agent this will not happen and it is their policy that after 6 months of arrears the debt can be sold. But after the terrible customer service I do not believe them.Today is the last day of the 3 month cancellation... Nobody has contacted me to book an engineer.... Rang them... You'd never guess! They have to raise a case with the customer care team!THIS NIGHT MARE IS NEVERENDING! But let this be a warning to everyone!DO NOT BUY THIS SERVICE! YOU WILL REGRET IT! IT IS AN OVERLY PRICED SERVICE WITH A TERIBLY BUILT CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM.

    I have been getting recurring problems with the trigger of my alarm and after several phone calls to Verisure outlining the problem, finally today a technician came in. This was the worst experience I have ever had. The technician was so incompetent, he was banging the alarm and cameras with a screw driver and walked all around the house complementing on my furniture but NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM WITH THE ALARM. He left abruptly and when I said to him can you check to see if it works or let me check, he replied saying I have fixed it and left immediately. He never bothered checking anything he didn’t even know how to fix the problem because he kept making excuses but also never answered my questions. He was so incompetent it was unbelievable. I pay a monthly fee for this poor service!
    Utterly disappointed!!!!!

    I paid £400 last October for Chris to…
    I paid £400 last October for Chris to fit the Alarm East Midlands area, and he said it would be another £30 per month for 6 months and then I could cancel and put my own Sim Card in the system.I can’t get hold of Chris and Verisure cancelation procedures is impossible.
    Every time I ring they say someone will call me back, no one never does. Only yesterday I took the awful looking smoke bomb off my wall and someone from Verisure phoned me up and told me to put it back on the wall as I did not own the system. I was in shock and asked what the initial £400 was for? He replied “ It’s for the install!” What a Shambles. Are all these reviews Legitimate????
