    A great trip with Aer lingus

    It was my first time patronizing Aer Lingus. I enjoyed every moment on board. The flight is not as expensive as its counterparts but in terms of what they offer, it is excellent. The flight ensures everything is clear and safe before starting the journey. They offer lots of fun activities like wifi, lovely magazines and much more. I love the trip. I had a new friend who talked throughout the journey. I had great fun overall. The plane is so much comfortable that I didn't realize it when I slept off. I got to my destination safely with no itch on the journey. Lovely trip.

    Flight experience review

    My recent flight with this airline was really disappointing. Firstly, the lack of charging points was so frustrating on such a long flight - it's a nightmare to have a dead phone or laptop. And the economy seats were so cramped, it was hard to even eat without banging elbows with the person next to me. The flight attendant constantly reaching over me was really invasive. Being so close to the bathroom meant I had to put up with unpleasant smells and queues. Not being able to use TSA pre-check was a huge inconvenience, especially after being given wrong information by the airline rep. The boarding agent's unprofessional comments about my passport photo were just not on. And not being able to change my seat for the return flight over the phone was really disappointing. Honestly, the whole experience was just not up to scratch.

    Flight change request

    I tried to alter my flight with this airline not long ago, and it was a rather frustrating and confusing experience. The whole online process for changing my flight wasn't very clear, I had to change both parts of my journey for no obvious reason. What really got to me was that changing the first leg cost me extra, which made me think they're just trying to push unnecessary upgrades. When I rang their customer support for some clarification, they gave me a quote for an even higher price than what I saw online initially. To top it off, there was a bit of a language barrier with the call centre staff, which just made things even more frustrating and confusing. All in all, it was really disappointing and now I'm doubting how trustworthy this airline is.

    Business class flights to New York

    Wow, we booked these super fancy business class flights to New York for our anniversary, but then my wife got really sick so we had to cancel. It took forever for someone to even reply to us about getting a refund, and I ended up having to start a whole Twitter campaign to get their attention. And to top it off, they charged us this ridiculous fee for cancelling. Can you believe it?

    Flight from Shannon to London

    The way they treated me on my last flight from Shannon to London was an absolute disgrace. They cancelled the flight last minute, blaming it on other delays, but I later found out that was a lie. It was obvious they cancelled to save money because there weren't many passengers on board. And to top it off, they said they'd put us on a flight from Dublin the next morning but didn't organise a hotel for us. They just bussed us to Dublin three hours later and dumped us at the terminal with no accommodation or even a place to get some water. And they didn't seem to care at all, no apologies or anything for the inconvenience. I'm sorry to say this, but this experience has confirmed for me that this airline is the worst I've ever dealt with. I'd be making a mistake to trust them again.

    Flight experience dissatisfaction

    I was really upset by my recent flight with this airline. They cancelled the flight without telling me beforehand, so I was left with no help or options, just some vague promise that I might get booked onto the next day's flight. They were really inconsistent and seemed unfair about their luggage rules too - they tried to charge me for my hand luggage even though it definitely fit within their limits. And then when I tried to claim compensation, they tried to get out of it by saying they couldn't check my details and mysteriously "lost" my responses. It was just terrible service all round and left me feeling really annoyed and let down by the airline.

    Booked two tickets, used the 24hrs option to cancel

    Right, so I had booked two tickets and was so excited for my trip, but then I had to cancel them. I used the 24-hour cancellation option to get my money back, but it took ages to receive the refund. It actually took more than 10-12 days, which is really not cool when it's a lot of money, you know? I had to reach out to them twice just to find out what was going on. The customer support team were alright and tried to help, but still, not ideal.

    Flight booking issue

    As someone who flies with the airline a lot, I was really let down by the service I got last time. I had to pay for a new ticket because of a problem with my booking, and Aer Lingus won't even give me any compensation. Their claims process is a joke and they don't seem to get how travel agencies work. Not only do they not look after their customers properly, but their treatment of travel agencies is awful.

    Flight reschedule request

    The customer service from Aer Lingus was just shocking. I messaged them on WhatsApp to change my flight for the next day and they said they usually reply within 2 hours. I ended up waiting 6 hours, so I messaged them again to cancel the request because it was taking too long, and I also mentioned leaving a review. Only then did I finally get a quick response asking if they could help. There was no support or good customer service at all, just a series of negative experiences with this airline.

    Flight cancellation issue

    I'm really disappointed and frustrated with a certain airline I recently used. My flight got cancelled because of a technical issue, and the gate staff told me to book another flight with a different airline. They reassured me that I would be refunded by the first airline for the trouble. But when I tried to get the refund, I was told that alternative flights don't qualify for refunds. So now I'm out of pocket and just really let down by their lack of accountability and customer service.

    Recent flight booking

    I recently booked a flight with Aer Lingus and I must say, I was quite disappointed with the experience. I had high hopes for a smooth and efficient journey but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Trying to select seats online turned out to be a real headache as I couldn't do it either through Aer Lingus or their partner airline. I ended up having to spend extra time and effort by calling them up to secure my seats, which was a real pain and wasted a lot of time. On top of that, I was quite frustrated that my American Airlines status wasn't recognised for lounge access. It was just one thing after another - not being able to take part in the TSA Known Traveler Scheme only added to the overall inconvenience. I was really hoping for a seamless and customer-friendly experience, but what I got was pretty disappointing, to be honest.
