    It was time for family outing and fun time. It was to be a place where children can have real fun: diving, driving, running, flying and what have you. We knew about Merlin Entertainment Limited but we didn't know about the ticketing company in charge. Findings led us to Legoland as the ticketing company for all entertainment and recreational activities at Merlin Entertainment Limited. It was difficult to be sure if we could still have tickets available for us that day, because we already learnt tickets were sold out. When we contacted Legoland, we insisted we needed to catch fun that day. I don't know how they did it but luckily, we were able to buy tickets from Legoland and then, we had our fun that day especially the kids.

    We always have a great time at this place with the fam! Took along our 8-year-old and 4-year-old and they always have a blast. The queues can get pretty long, but luckily we had the access pass to skip them. The toilets were spotless, which is always a bonus. Some rides were closed, but there was still loads for us to enjoy. The only downside was that the food was a bit pricey. The staff were really friendly, despite some bad reviews I've read online. I reckon I might even enjoy it more than the kids do. It can be a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it for a fun day out. We'll definitely be back soon for another day of fun!

    Staying at the hotel

    Our stay at the hotel was just fantastic! My family and I had such a great time. The reception staff were really friendly and helped us with everything we needed. A big shout out to the two lifeguards at the pool - they were brilliant! The breakfast at Bricks Family Restaurant was also amazing. The lady who took our orders was so efficient and hardworking, making sure everything ran smoothly even though it was really busy. And the gentleman who served us the delicious Full English breakfast was just fantastic! We can't wait to come back to LEGOLAND!

    Fun day out

    I had a great time at Legoland! The rides were awesome and the mini lego cities were fantastic. The Star Wars section was definitely the highlight - I felt like a proper jedi! The only downside was the long queues, but I still had an amazing time overall.

    Stay at the hotel for a birthday celebration

    During my stay at the hotel for my son's birthday, it was a complete nightmare. The lift was broken, and when I asked about it, the receptionist said it had been out of order for days, despite me having a pushchair. The room was not properly cleaned and only had two towels. The food at the Brick Restaurant was way too expensive, and the service was not great. What really upset me was that I told them it was my son's birthday via email, but no one acknowledged it. It makes me wonder, why ask for that information if they're not going to do anything about it?

    Recent visit to a theme park

    During my last trip to the theme park, I couldn't ignore how shabby and unclean the place appeared. It felt like everything was too expensive, from the food to the souvenirs. I spent almost £50 on lunch for myself and my three kids, which is outrageous for burger meals that were subpar and not very delicious. The prices for drinks were exorbitant too. The staff were nice and supportive, but that didn't compensate for the poor maintenance. There were peeling paint, dirty railings, and a general feeling of neglect everywhere I looked.

    Expensive, long wait, poor quality

    What a complete rip-off! This place is just asking for trouble. The prices are ridiculously high, the queues never seem to end, and the food is just awful. I ordered the burgers and chips which cost me an arm and a leg, only to find they tasted like cardboard. And let's not even talk about the dreadful customer service - I voiced my concerns about the whole experience, but it was like talking to a brick wall. To make matters worse, I spotted rats in the kitchen, and when I told a member of staff, they didn't seem bothered in the slightest. Absolutely disgraceful!

    I took my family to this place and we had to wait in line for everything! It cost £8 for parking, which I thought was way too expensive. The ticket prices were also overpriced, and the wait times on the app were completely inaccurate - we ended up spending more time in lines than actually enjoying the rides. The rides seemed quite dated and not as exciting as I had hoped. The food and drinks were ridiculously expensive too! To make matters worse, it took us ages to leave the car park. Overall, I was really let down by the whole visit.

    My time at the theme park wasn't as good as I hoped because of the crazy long queues that never seemed to end. I knew there would be some waiting, but spending most of an 8-hour day lining up for only 5 rides was a real letdown. We didn't even get to have a proper lunch, we had to eat our packed food while waiting in line. The wait times shown on the app were way off, like a 25-minute wait turning into a 70-minute slog for a tiny 1-minute ride on a little pirate boat. It was obvious that the reserve and ride system was causing big delays in the regular queues, favouring people who could pay extra. This seemed more about making money than giving guests a good time, which left a lot of families feeling frustrated if they couldn't afford to pay more to skip the long lines.

    And when we finally wanted to leave, there was a nightmare at the car park because there was no one directing traffic, so cars were stuck and couldn't move properly. We had to wait for an hour just to get out of the area. Even though Legoland is great for younger kids and has some really cool stuff to see, all the waiting in line and the chaos of the car park really spoiled the day for us.

    Family day out

    I arranged a family day out with my wife and daughter. The park itself seemed a bit worn out and could do with some sprucing up. Some of the older attractions definitely need a fresh look. Despite that, we had a good time during our visit, especially enjoying Mythica and Haunted Mansion. The sections with building and creature creation were particularly fun for us. I think the park could benefit from focusing more on these interactive activities. There were some issues with staff appearing disinterested, so it would be nice if they were more engaging and seen as part of the overall experience. I would suggest visiting as part of a coach tour rather than just a single day trip.

    Overpriced and Unfair

    I went to the theme park the other day and honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. I mean, this whole idea of "fast track" tickets is just a con, if you ask me. Firstly, the regular entrance fees are already super expensive, and then on top of that you have to cough up even more just to skip the long queues. And even if you splash out on the fast track tickets, you still end up waiting ages because they give priority to those ticket holders, leaving us regular folks stuck in line. It's a joke. Plus, to add insult to injury, the rides are only running at half capacity, so you're not even getting the full experience you paid for.

    Lengthy waiting times at amusement park

    I went to an amusement park not too long ago and honestly, I was pretty gutted with how long the queues were for the rides. Even though the park is famous, the lines were just too much - I had to wait for up to an hour for just one ride! It felt like a waste of both my money and time because I couldn't go on as many rides as I wanted to. All in all, it was a really disappointing experience and definitely not worth the cost.

    Legoland visit March 2024

    Soon after the park opened for the season, we noticed that it wasn't very well looked after. Quite a few rides were closed when we went, so there wasn't much for us to do for fun. One ride that did impress us, though, was the Mythica ride - we had a really good time on it. But, in general, the rides were just okay, nothing special.

    Food experience

    I recently had a really bad experience at this restaurant. The burgers we got were honestly terrible - so tough and gross. And to top it off, they were way overpriced. When I complained to the staff, they tried to make up for it with chicken nuggets, which was just not good enough. Then we found out that the burgers were from a different supplier than usual, and that made a lot of other customers angry too. On top of all that, some of the rides weren't even open. Honestly, it was a total rip-off and I wouldn't recommend eating there to anyone.
