Two item purchase
I placed an order for two things from an online shop not long ago. They sent me one right away, which was good. But the other thing I ordered, a dress, wasn't in the package. The website said no charge for postage, but they actually charged me £13.12 for shipping, which was a bit of a shock. I wanted to cancel the order because of this mix-up, but it had already been processed. No one has got in touch with me about the missing dress, and now I'm wondering where it is and when it's going to turn up.

I recently bought a £188 bottle of wine from Winebuyers, but I never got it. I've tried to email and call them for a refund, but no luck. It's really frustrating and disappointing how bad their customer service is. It's not right for a company to ignore their customers like this, it feels like a scam. I'd warn others to steer clear of Winebuyers.

Spare part purchase
I bought a spare part from the company recently and it was mostly a good experience. The service was quick and the delivery came on time. However, there was a bit of a problem with the invoicing that left me a bit confused. When I used Paypal to pay for the item, I had to log in twice - once for the item itself and then a second time for the item and postage. This led to the bank showing one paid invoice and one pending invoice, which got me a bit mixed up. Even though I wasn't actually charged twice, I had to make quite a few phone calls to the company to clear things up.

Replacement stool base
I bought a new stool base from this company, but I was really let down by the service I got. Last time I got the same base for a different stool and everything was fine. But this time, when I got the base, I realised they had changed the specs without telling me. The screw span was different, so I couldn't put the stool together properly. When I contacted customer service to ask for a refund or exchange, they outright said no. They said it was my job to check the specs before buying, even though I had ordered the same thing as before. It's really shocking that they won't take responsibility. I definitely won't be buying from them again and I'll make sure others know about their bad customer service.

New frames purchase
I recently bought a lovely new pair of glasses and I must say, I absolutely love them! I've been putting off getting new glasses for over 13 years now, so I was quite nervous about the whole process. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to order them on the website. The virtual try-on feature was really helpful, although the frames didn't always seem to be the right size. It would be great if there was an option to adjust the frames from left to right to make sure they don't look too small for an adult's face. Overall, I'm really pleased with my purchase and the quality of the frames.

I rented a car and also got some extra insurance from the car hire service. But when I went to pick it up, the local hire company was trying to make me get their insurance instead of the one I already had. It wasn't very nice. But, in the end, the car was fine and it did what I needed it to do.

STIGA battery substitution
So, I ordered this Mountfield Battery online, yeah? And when it arrived, can you believe it? It was a STIGA battery! I mean, come on, they didn't even check with me if that was alright to do. And it was like over £100 as well! Not cool, right? I tried giving them a ring to fix it but they didn't even answer. Terrible customer service, honestly. I won't be shopping with them again, that's a definite!

This company has taken £33.14 from my pension without asking me first! I've been trying to get in touch with them but the phone number they provided doesn't work. I even attempted to reach out using the email address they left in response to my review, but I haven't received a reply. I wouldn't recommend trusting this company with your money. I'm currently exploring other options to try and recover my funds.

I got this really nice Trespass jacket, but sadly the sleeves were way too long, so I had to send it back. United Textiles were great though - they sent it out really quickly and gave me a refund just as fast. I would definitely recommend them and will definitely shop there again!

Mexico (Yucatán) tour
Oh my goodness, the guide on my Mexico (Yucatán) tour was just so irritating! He was always speaking really loudly and using "fu*king" or "freaking" every other word. 🙄 What a pain! And he was so full of himself, going on about how charming he was. Can you believe it? Who does that?! On top of that, he never gave us enough time to prepare for the evenings out - we literally had to get ready in 10 minutes after coming back from long days at the beach covered in sand. It was really stressful, ugh! 🏖️😒 Plus, he expected us to rate the tour as 10 out of 10, which was definitely a big no for me. No way, not going to happen! 😤

Train ticket purchase
My experience with the train service was absolutely shocking. My son accidentally bought a ticket for the wrong date, a simple mistake that he tried to fix when he was told by the staff. Instead of helping him, they publicly embarrassed him, treated him like a criminal, and made him feel terrible. The train itself was late and not moving, which gave the staff member even more time to be rude and aggressive. My son was so upset that he ended up in tears and had to pay a big fine for an honest mistake. It's really unfair that he was singled out when there were other passengers breaking the rules in more obvious ways. The inconsistency and unfair treatment of passengers is really appalling and not acceptable.

The customer service experience at this company is not great. When I tried to downgrade or cancel my subscription, I had to talk to a customer service rep who couldn't help me. Then I got passed on to the customer success team, which seemed like a way to make things take longer and put me off cancelling. It's pretty frustrating and feels like they're more focused on keeping money than actually helping customers.

It was really difficult to get assistance from anyone at One Education as they took ages to reply. The review sites are all phoney, so be sure to check out Facebook for genuine reviews. I'd suggest using Coursera instead.

València hotel stay
During our recent trip to València, we had a really nice time overall. The hotel was in a good spot for strolling along the Turia, and the city itself is just fantastic. We were lucky to have Jack as our guide, who made our experience even better. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. But, the downside was the disappointing quality of the evening meals. On our final night, we were given a cold fish soup with no veggies, some overly salty brown meat, and dry fried potatoes. The other option was a bland salad with dry chicken on top, followed by a dessert of cold custard and a biscuit. Thankfully, we discovered a nearby restaurant where we could enjoy a delicious meal at a fair price. The food at the hotel didn't quite meet our expectations, which was a shame during our holiday.

I recently bought a sofa set from this company and I must say, I am really impressed. The customer service was excellent - Michelle was incredibly helpful and professional. When my sofa set arrived, I noticed that one of the seat areas was sloping, but Michelle went above and beyond to sort it out. She kept in touch with me constantly, giving me a call instead of just sending an email, which I really liked. After a technician came to check it out, it was discovered that there was a fault in one part of the sofa, and Michelle arranged for a replacement sofa to be delivered within a few days. I had a little scrape on the back bumper of my rental car in Slovenia, so I thought I'd make a claim on my RentalCover insurance. Dealing with the claim was surprisingly easy and quick. I reckon it might have been simpler to just go for the full insurance with the rental company, but going with RentalCover saved me around 15% - so it was worth it. In the end, I was really happy with how the claim was sorted out.

Auto-renewal without refund
I had a really awful experience with this company recently. They went ahead and renewed my policy without asking me first, and then said they'd cancel it but didn't give me my money back. It's been a whole month now and I still haven't got my refund. The worst bit is I can't even get hold of them - their phone lines don't work, live chat is always offline, and they're ignoring my emails. It's so annoying and really unprofessional. I'd say steer clear of this company at all costs.

I must say, the customer service at this jewellery company is absolutely amazing. I recently ordered a couple of bracelets and unfortunately, only one arrived the next day. When I checked the tracking number for the second bracelet, I found out it had been sent to the Isle of Man by mistake! I got in touch with the company and they got back to me within 10 minutes, promising to replace the missing bracelet at no extra cost. They even gave me a new order number for confirmation. It's not often you find a business nowadays that is so quick and willing to fix mistakes without any hassle. I highly recommend this company, not just for their beautiful jewellery but for their outstanding customer service too. And the cherry on top was the lovely gift bag - that really impressed me.

Everything in this platform is great!
Started my 1st lesson with Shaw Academy and its really convenient and easy to navigate. The lecturer is very knowledgeable and provide ample explanations to the points being displayed on the screen and its easy to understand. Looking forward to taking up more courses via Shaw Academy later on
High quality content and am very much enjoying Laura's classes. Very practical material. The only thing annoying is the amount of reminders and calls which seem to be coming from everywhere. Almost tacky. But the classes turned out to be worth it so far.

I am trying to avail the toolkit and the ecertificate,my card has a fund. But, everytime I'm trying to buy the two, my card is always declined.
I've found the Financial Trading and Investment course a very valuable introduction, and will continue with that. Slight downsides are 1) presentation is pretty rapid, 2) strong on selling long-term education plan, 3) one-click purchase feels too easy, and the information supporting the course has to be purchased.
Positives outweigh those: 1) Course content is pretty good. 2) Can review videos afterwards. 3) Rescheduling attendance is easy.Shaw Academy has been great. From the schedule of classes to reminders, they never fail to encourage you to join the class. The contents of the module were easy to understand and comprehend and the lecturer is knowledgeable. Everything is great. Thank you for the free one month trial. An amazing experience.

I was skeptical with learning graphic design online. However i found the class extremely informative, clear, and interesting. I was in tune the entire time. The instructor articulated concepts and details with visuals that enhanced my understanding. I am interested in furthering my knowledge of specific software that I know, but also to learn about software I have zero experience in. I am extremely satisfied and so happy I signed up for this course!

I have just completed the first week of my free course. The course has been very simple. I do not care for the constant adds to purchase at this stage in the lessons. I have not yet seen enough to want to buy this product but am keeping my mind open as I have three more weeks.

I've started 2 courses. I'm really enjoying the Graphic Design teaching. The Web Design first 3 courses has focussed on demos of what to do... I'd have liked a bit more theory for each of the new steps. But we head to theory in lesson 4.
Some of the admin has been a bit clunky. But the support desk do their best to resolve issues promptly.
I love the ease with which you can restart your course or reschedule and rewatch classes. Helpful quizzes to help you learn.
Make sure you access offers in a timely way... the prices do go back up to full price at the end of the offer period.
Overall, I'm happy to keep going with the courses I've started.shaw academy has shown me hoe attentive they can be and how important a student even online is for them , thank you shaw academy for you not leaving me stranded and mostly showing you did care from the very moment I asked for information you did continue to push me towards attending my classes an also the teacher.

Shaw academy is a cool online platform. Today was my 1st class, i loved the way examples were given and the lessons were broken down but what i noticed as a challenge was the fact that the class was as though it was rushed, it didn't give enough room to reflect or make some jottings. Also, the toolkit sale popups were distracting. All the same thank you Shaw Academy for creating this learning platform.

I like the platform. The communication about class is a bit much and I keep getting notices about missing class, even though I didn't miss. But I'm enjoying the class and platform so far!
Pretty good. Quality of subject matter was excellent. Response from email support staff ok, the "Live Chat" or Morpheus as they call him was terrible. I have done 24 classes and never had someone else join the class with me.
The last one week has been very rewarding going though lectures. I believe I will definitely go in for more courses. But the only thing that needs to be looked in is the one click purchasing link, please I think it should be done away with.

This program is amazing. I haven’t been in school for almost 4 years. And I didn’t even feel like I was back in the classroom. It doesn’t give me that vibe. It’s not too long, it doesn’t feel overwhelming with information. So I’m excited for my next lesson and ready to learn more to help get closer to my dreams.
Everything has been great so far. Lesson 1 completed and I am looking forward to my second lesson tomorrow! My only criticism is that I am being over-contacted. 23 emails and almost 10 texts since I signed up last night.
I really enjoy the lesson, especially when I watch the lesson again on my mail after the class. It more or less am in a visible or the re-life class.
Pretty good. Quality of subject matter was excellent. Response from email support staff ok, the "Live Chat" or Morpheus as they call him was terrible. I have done 24 classes and never had someone else join the class with me.
The Lessons are great and easy to follow and give a lot of info without being overwhelming! :)
Its a good platform for learning the instructors are well prepared and the lessons are clear it will be nice if the videos offered subtitles since, I suppose not all the users are english spoken or can be eraring impaired
The lecture on Project Management lesson 1 was interesting and enlightening. Regardless of the availability of a module's toolkit after payment, I think more time should have been utilized for each lesson since one hour is the actual lesson time frame. It will be best if the Shaw Academy Team is able to lecture for or close to an hour per lesson. Thanks.
Endless emails, texts, and messaging and continually pressure selling you into buying certificates, course toolkits, course extensions, more courses, and so on. Gets somewhat wearing. On the positive though, the course I have done is well structured, clear, easy to schedule and reschedule, and is a valuable learning experience.

I liked all the courses I applied to. It is very easy, fun and flexibille to learn with shaw academy. The only issue is that if you by accident click on something to buy, they will charge you immediately. But in the whole view on shawacademy, it was very good and I'm satisfied a lot.

So far I have only taken my first class and I really liked the content and the pace of the class. Looking forward to more sessions. I signed up for the free trial and wish all aspects of the class were FREE including the toolkits, etc. This would give me a full idea of what your classes are like, the free trial won't give me that experience as is and I am not sure I will continue after the trial since I won't know what the toolkits, etc. are like. Also, you send way too many text messages and call me too much. I would rethink this strategy.
While the materials appear excellent, navigation between various lessons is more than challenging. I've received two notifications that I have completed the lesson, and am unable to take the test for lesson 2 because it reports I have not completed lesson 1.
I was a bit worried about how the class would go. But the first lesson was really interesting and very informative. Looking forward to the rest of the lessons. Thanks.

Everything is good except there appears to be confusion on how to submit completed assignments. There are no instructions and the responses have not been clear. Otherwise, I have enjoyed the class thus far.

I'm sure this is a very valuable resource for many, but it's just not a fit for me. Way too many email, texts, and phone calls. Now I need to figure out how to cancel everything and get my name and number off the list.

The 2 lessons have been very interesting and educative. I have been able to have an explicit teaching and understanding.
I have only completed 1 lesson so far, so it is a little early to make a final judgement but overall the course does seem to be informative, it is fast-paced and you have to choose between listening and note-taking as you do not have time for both, but to be fair, you do have an option of purchasing the toolkit which contains notes, slides, and bonus videos, for additional price, and you also do have an option to view the video for each lesson attended again at a later time if you'd like to revisit some part of the lesson or make/ review your own notes.

I did not know what to expect. I do have some back ground in IT and am self taught as far as Photoshop is concerned. I found the first part to be very informative as the history in graphic design.
The lesson structure is clear and well presented. The content is relevant and easy to follow delivered at a pace that maintains the learners interest. Would recommend.
I think the first lesson was spot on with what I need to learn to make me a viable candidate for commercial construction project Management. I am excited for the next lessons. The only negative I find is the constant emails and text messages. I have been asked to RSVP for my next lesson twice. Also, I was able to complete my quiz, but the assignment for the lesson is still locked. Not sure what that is about.

Easy to understand and follow the lesson, teacher sounds very engaging and very friendly. The class is broken down into bite sized modules so you're not overwhelmed but there's enough information so you are still learning something each time and building on your knowledge.

I am currently taking Diploma in graphics designing...Yesterday was my first class, I learnt a lot from the introduction, tutorial and i am earnestly waiting for my next class.
Monday was my first day of class. Based on that, I enjoyed that it is mobile/online learning. The class was a one hour lesson, however, the info given was precise and relatable. The pace of the class allows the learner to engage and follow the format with no problem. Can't wait for the classes to come.
Great course so far. Wish I had done this way before and it could've helped me with guessing how to navigate my camera or lenses.
Lesson is flexible, you can decide your own time and schedule to follow the lesson. The teaching method is simple yet comprehensive. You will also get unlimited access to the recorded online tutorial with nice graphical teaching materials.
So far the nutrition class is great, but I don't like how it's scheduled and that I can only take the classes 2 hours apart on the same day. Other than that, I like how everything is explained very thoroughly and the instructor is very clear with her slides.

I have undergone lots of online courses SHAW ACADEMY is the best. The way the facilitators teach is very simple and I just had to unlearn everything I knew before and absorb everything they taught be... And this is just after my 1st class. WOW!
I'm currently enrolled in the first Project Management module, and I find the content fairly easy to follow, and like the ability to reschedule classes as needed. I don't like when I was first trying to schedule my classes, as I found the mobile version buggy (it originally had me booking courses for 2018, but it's been sorted out.

I think the instructor is very good. I received the first course for free but I'm more on the advanced side as I have been using Excel for years. I only took this course to find things out that I have not been exposed to yet in using the program. Sometimes I am unable to attend the course but I use the recordings. I've already had to reset the dates for my classes because it would not stop saying lesson one needed to be completed and I already watched 3 times to see if it would take it off and go to lesson 2. I also work full time and do another online college class so trying to get to the time slot for this class always isnt desirable. Otherwise the class is good. Goes at a pace I am comfortable with. I find it a little boring right now because everything that the instructor is going over I know already.

I am so thankful, for Shaw Academy for giving this special gift,during this pandemic. You give everyone a chance to gain or continue to gain knowledge in theyre special area or passion. I was looking for more classes to further my education, in my feild (Early Childhood, Child Fitness Enrichment Instructor ) but to gain more knowledge came with a price, of course. During this challenging financial time, it is a bit difficult. A plus, to be certified and sent a certification is a blessing.
Today was my first Lesson "Sports and Nutrition" and it was packed with cool facts and things i did not know,but should. I did not know that 45% of body mass is skeletal muscle.The Instructor sounds clear,audible and nice ! She also shared facts about herself which felt personable. I like the countdown at the begging before class starts.It makes me gather my materials and set up so i am prepared for class !
One thing that i find difficult about the class is the speed. When taking notes, cant go back to refer to the text or copying key points, because the page moved on.It would be cool if you can repeat that slide,but again understandable. The online chat box let me know where to get the notes,(toolkit) which is great, but again i cant afford it. I love a challenge and this gives me a challenge,to see how much information i can obtain and comprehend.I am going to continue to try my best with note taking.
In conclusion, i would recommend this to everyone.If you want to buckle down and really want to gain more knowledge this is the place.

Only one lesson in but seems concise and well thought through. Exercise at end ensures you join the dots to come up with a plan which was useful to see what I had taken on and understood.

Super....It's only been my first module but as a instructional designer, it's a brilliant see a well designed course that brings interactivity into it.
Yes, it's not the type of interactivity I use when designing courses as you use a bot but, it kept me engaged which ultimately it's what you need when training anyone.
The trainer is brilliant and extremely knowledge and I feel very confident that at the end of this course, I'll have gained the knowledge I am seeking to further develop not just my digital marketing career but also apply learnings to my instructional design courses too.
I have already recommended this course to everyone I know who is interested in this field and have recommended Shaw Academy to absolutely everyone young and of age who wish to further develop skills especially during the difficult times we are in right now.

Amazing.The training begins on time, so that is the best aspect about it. However, I was asked in an email to click on a link so that I can take a knowledge quiz in order to prepare for the next lesson and it did not work. I asked about it by sending an email to customer service last week and I never got a response. There should be some kind of follow up quiz or knowledge check to reinforce what you learned in previous modules.
Teaching methodology is good and teaching material is relevant. Overall the course is quite useful.

I had my first lesson of sports nutrition and found the same Tiffany! After the course is complete you can rewatch the slides and there is a pause button which allows you the time to write your notes! But yes it is a little difficult o keep up with the recording!
