New car pickup
I picked up my new car today and received the best service! The staff were really friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the market for a car. A huge shoutout to Philip for all his help. Thank you so much!
Frequent DriveNow user
I've been using the service for quite a while now and, overall, my experience has been pretty good. However, I've recently seen a drop in the quality of the service. On a few occasions, the cars I booked weren't where they were supposed to be, causing delays in my plans. It's disappointing to see this lack of reliability, especially as someone who uses the service regularly.
What's more, I've started to notice some small charges on my bank statement from the company. These charges haven't been mentioned in any invoices or communication from the company, which is worrying. Transparency is really important in any business, and this lack of clear information about additional charges just isn't acceptable.
In summary, although I still find the service convenient when it's running smoothly, the recent problems I've come across have left me feeling frustrated and unsure about continuing to use the service in the future.DriveNow experience
I was really hoping to enjoy DriveNow, but honestly, they make it pretty difficult. When I gave them a call, they were friendly at first, but then they surprised me with those additional charges out of nowhere. It was a bit shocking, to be honest. I thought they were supposed to be cool, but they got pretty unfriendly when I tried to resolve things. The worst part? They made me pay for the same parking ticket twice! It's just ridiculous. I had to spend hours on the phone and email just to sort it out. Definitely not a good experience, that's for sure.
Car rental experience
I had a terrible experience with a car rental company recently. One of their representatives, Henriette, was really rude and made me feel belittled. As a loyal customer, it was really disappointing. It left me wondering if they even care about their customers. The way they treated me lacked professionalism and respect, and it was just not on. It's annoying to see a company acting so arrogantly. I reckon more competition in the market would be good for customers and might kick companies like this to the curb.
Overpriced but okay
So DriveNow has changed its name to ShareNow, after being car2go. I don't really need to go into too much detail about all that. The costs are a bit high, but the service is decent. Ordering was a bit tricky, but once that was sorted, everything else was fine. The car arrived on time and was in pretty good shape. All in all, it's an average experience, nothing special to write home about.
Online payment system
I'm afraid my experience with the online payment system wasn't great. I stood outside in the rain for 20 minutes, crossing my fingers that it would link up to my PayPal account, but no such luck. This isn't the first time this has happened either.
Rental car availability issues
If you turn up at Schönefeld late in the evening, you might struggle to find a rental car. I've ended up having to catch the train back a few times because of this issue. Car2go isn't any better either. Heading to the airport in the early hours also means hunting for a parking spot. It's a real pain that needs addressing. I personally prefer a different company that doesn't hit you with extra charges and has more cars available.
Driving requirement, GreenMobility comparison
I was really gutted when I found out I couldn't use your cars until I'd had my driving license for a year. GreenMobility, on the other hand, lets new drivers use their service right away. Most new drivers are careful and responsible, so I don't understand why you can't or won't let them use your service.
Electric car charging issue
I had a problem with my electric car charging the other day. Even though I did everything I normally do, the car wouldn't charge when the battery was empty. I got in touch with customer support for help, and after trying to charge it again, they said it was working. But now they won't give me any credit for the charging that supposedly didn't happen. I'm pretty gutted about the whole thing and not happy with the service and support I've received.
Vehicle purchased January 17
I bought my car on January 17th and honestly, it's been a total nightmare. As soon as I got it home, the check engine light popped on. Had to take it back to the dealer multiple times for repairs - needed a new catalytic converter, a replacement turbo charger and they had to fix a cracked coolant reservoir tank. I've ended up forking out thousands on these repairs on top of my down payment.
False damage claim
I've just had an email come through asking me to complete a damage claim for something that supposedly happened 3 weeks ago. As far as I know, this damage didn't happen while I was using the car - it was only after I'd parked up and finished renting it. The pictures they've sent show the car in a different place, not where I left it on the street. I'm a bit confused about this and really hope it can be sorted out properly.
Faulty cars and poor customer service
The cars are always breaking down and dirty. They never give you money back even if you ring up and have to wait ages just to tell them the oil's low or there's a problem with the engine.
