Insurance Counts For Profit Not For Customer Security
Dreadful. I've used ParcelCompare since just before COVID to send my products around the UK. I build and sell bespoke PCs. The service has always been good. I've never had any issues. But the measure of a good company is how they support you when there are problems.
You will be asked about your product and encouraged to get insurance. The insurance isn't with the carrier. It's with ParcelCompare. I had packed the PC in a PC box. The type of box that all PCs are packed with. It turned up at my client with a smashed glass side panel but it was shattered rather than broken. So it's an impact issue.
My client took pictures that matched the policy requirement and these were sent on.
My insurance request was rejected due to the packaging not being acceptable. Let that sink in for a while.
So I paid for insurance. It was damaged in transit and I am now left to pay to resolve my clients issue too.
Moral of the story? They will do everything they can to not pay out on insurance. Be very careful and aware. I did everything I am supposed to and am now out of pocket but they still have my insurance payment on their profit and loss ledger.
And for the sake of it they lost a loyal and repeat customer. Disgraceful.Review about: Bloom Boutique
Friendship necklace gift
I got this friendship necklace from here for my birthday and it seemed nice at first. But, after wearing it a few times, it got all tarnished and looks beyond fixing now. The quality is really bad and it's such a shame that a gift ended up being such low-quality stuff. I wouldn't suggest getting jewellery from here if you want something that will actually last.

Weekend break hotel stay
The hotel reception and bar area have had a makeover, and they look so much brighter now, which was a nice surprise. But the room was just average, nothing to write home about really. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, so that was definitely a plus. Sadly, the food was a bit disappointing. It used to be much better when the hotel had a different name, but now it's gone downhill. The soup was really watery, the main courses were just alright, and the sides were served cold. The only good thing was the hot beef bourguignon. On the positive side, the entertainment was absolutely fantastic and really made the stay enjoyable. And getting four free drinks per night was a nice touch too. Despite the drawbacks, I wouldn't completely rule out coming back for another visit.

Birthday gift order
I've just ordered a personalised gift for a friend's birthday from this company. I was drawn in by the promise of a quick delivery, as I needed it in time for the celebration. Unfortunately, I was let down and annoyed when the delivery didn't come within the 2-3 business days they said it would. As a new customer, this has made me doubt the company's reliability and efficiency. The website was easy to use, but I'd advise others to consider elsewhere if they need something delivered quickly.

Washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher
When my family and I went to the shop, John was incredibly helpful and knew everything. We ended up buying a washing machine and a tumble dryer, which were delivered by some really nice guys. Another man delivered and installed the dishwasher, and even fixed the door for us. It was such a great service, definitely five stars all the way!

Protein supplements
I bought some protein supplements from this store, thinking they would help me lose weight and gain muscle. But, unfortunately, they didn't work at all. I was really disappointed because I felt like I wasted my money. And to make matters worse, I found out that my bonus points had been taken away when I didn't buy anything for a while. It was like they were trying to rub salt in the wound. I definitely wouldn't suggest their products to anyone who wants to see actual results.

New rug for my dining room
I just got a new rug for my dining room and it's really fluffy and colourful. I absolutely love it! The best bit was the delivery guys, Darian and Terry. They let me know when my rug was coming and brought it right up to my dining room. They even laid it out for me to check it before they left, which was so kind. I'm really pleased with my new rug and the great service.

Overpriced item with delayed delivery
I bought this really expensive thing from the shop as a gift. They said it would arrive on a specific day, so I splashed out on postage to make sure it got there on time. But guess what? It never arrived, not even a week after the promised date. And to top it off, the store wouldn't give me a refund, even though it was their fault I never got the goods. So, I had to go through the whole rigmarole of filing a credit card claim to get my money back. Their customer service is just not on.

I purchased a jumper back in December, but there's no clue about where it was made. I assumed it was made in France because of the price, but it turns out it wasn't. I wore the jumper for the first time today and it started pilling a lot. I've been using Armor Lux products since I was a kid and this has never happened before. Surprise dinner cruise for wife's birthday and anniversary
I was really looking forward to surprising my wife with a dinner cruise to celebrate her 65th birthday and our 15th wedding anniversary. We had booked the Signature Dining experience and even splurged on a limousine ride to the West End to catch the boat. But when we arrived, we were informed that the event had been cancelled because of an electrical issue! I was gutted, and we had to quickly figure out another place to go for dinner. It wasn't the ideal end to our special day that I had in mind.

Dalmore 18 Year Old
The Spirits Embassy, The worst Whisky buying experience I have ever had.
On Wednesday 29/11/2023 I ordered a bottle of Dalmore 18 Year Old priced at £283.
On Saturday 02/12/2023 I received my parcel from The Spirits Embassy.
The parcel contained a bottle of Old Pulteney 18 Year Old priced at around £115, the parcel was addressed to me but along with the wrong bottle there was an invoice for a completely different customer in Inverurie.
I immediately contacted The Spirits Embassy and informed them of the situation, mistakes happen I understand this, so I would let them fix it.
The gentleman I spoke to on the phone took all the information I gave him about receiving the wrong order and told me he wasn’t back in until Tuesday and that someone would contact me on Monday to deal with this.
Monday came and went with no contact from anyone at The Spirits Embassy.
On Tuesday 05/12/2023 I called The Spirits Embassy, I again explained the situation to the female who answered the phone, she passed the call to a male member of staff and I explained again what had happened. This male member of staff informed me my bottle of Dalmore 18 Year Old had been sent out, this was a lie.
I asked this male how do I get this bottle that I was sent in error returned to you, I asked can you email me a postage label and will take it to the Post Office myself, he replied no they couldn’t do that and that they would arrange to have it picked up from my home address by Parcel Force, I asked when but he couldn’t tell me, I asked him to email me with the tracking info for the bottle that I had paid for, he didn’t send me this information.
On Wednesday 06/12/2023 I called The Spirits Embassy again, at first I spoke to the gentleman I had originally spoken to on Saturday, he passed me onto the Logistics Assistant, this female informed me that my bottle had went out today, this was also a lie, and that they would arrange to have the bottle to be returned picked up on Thursday, the next day.
I informed this female member of staff that I was told the day before that my bottle had already been sent, she went quiet for a minute, I said listen it doesn’t matter as long as it has now been sent that is all I want, and could she email me with the tracking info so I can make sure someone is home to receive it, she said she would.
She emailed me informing me that the return had been arranged for tomorrow but she neglected to provide the tracking info for the bottle I had purchased and was informed that was now on its way to me.
On the afternoon of Thursday 07/12/2023 I called The Spirits Embassy again, after asking to speak to the Logistics Assistant I informed the gentleman who answered and who was fully aware of this issue that the return bottle had been picked up by Parcel Force this morning, and could he please just provide me with the tracking info for my purchase, he said the Logistics Assistant was on another call just now but my bottle was going out this evening and he would get her to call me when she was finished on the other call, I informed him that I was told it was sent out yesterday and also the previous day.
The Logistics Assistant didn’t call me back but the gentleman I had spoken to did, he informed me that as it was the same order number Parcel Force were not able to provide any tracking details, more lies, I said this was a bit strange.
What I don’t understand here is why everyone is lying to me, why when this company messed up was there nobody who could quickly take control of the issue and deal with it in a quick and effective manner and inform me of what was happening. I felt like I was having to chase up what was going on, this is an absolutely terrible way to treat a customer, one member of staff even had the audacity to say “I hope this hasn’t put you off from buying from us in future”.
On Friday 08/12/2023 I finally received the tracking info from the Logistics Assistant via email, upon checking this it clearly shows that the bottle was sent on 07/12/2023 at 4:11pm, absolutely shocking customer service, I really did expect better than this.Review about: Your Parking Space
Parking Space at Birmingham Hyatt Regency Hotell
Booked a 9 hour space at Hyatt Regency Hotel Birmingham B1, for the Birmingham Symphony Hall, on 8th July 2023.
On arrival, the very small car park was full and the Hotel Reception, nor the Concierge, knew anything about YourparkingSpace and said they did not use their parking spaces. I had paid £12 in advance for this. Luckily a space became available and I was able to claim it. The concierge allowed me to stay in the space (normally £35 per day). I have tried to contact YourParkingSpace by their online form and through the WhatsApp number (an AI bot) with absolutely no result, to ask if the hotel was correct. Ps4 game
They didnt send the game i bought. They blamed Royal Mail for a while but I had been receiving mail from royal every day normally, this company also gave a fake Royal Mail tracking number and I dont believe they ever sent the game at all. Customer service did hot help, just said that they were a Danish company and things take longer even though the website promises 48 hour delivery. They lie basically. DO NOT TRUST THIS WEBSITE.

I sent an email only to be told the order had been lost by courier, and a new one would be dispatched within 1-2 days. Nearly a week later, nothing. I asked to be directed to management and this escalated via email. They still have not responded to this. Poorest communication I’ve ever experienced from so called healthcare company. What about patients who need urgent medication? So beyond unethically poor. I am disgusted!
This is exactly my current situation - Identical “explanation” for non delivery of items and same promise and same inaction. Don’t use these people!

Just phoned this Company ... spoken to them as some friends of ours bought Vouchers for us as a present to buy Theatre tickets which we now cannot use apparently as we are 14 days over the 12 months that the Vouchers are valid for. I explained that I received a terminal diagnosis for Cancer 2 months after receiving the vouchers as a gift from our friends and have been unable to use them due to a very punishing chemotherapy regime.
I now though feel well enough to get out and about and so phoned and explained this to them and asked if I might be allowed to buy tickets under the circumstances. Apparently it’s just a blanket NO. They did say I could write in, but basically it’s a NO. So they have our friends money which they now keep apparently. So be warned - this Company clearly is lacking in some very basic ethical values and the operator admitted to me that they do just keep the money if people don’t redeem in time, whatever the circumstances. I so much love the services Regus offers. As a remote worker, working from home but due to the project I was handling, there was need to hire extra hands so to beat the timeline for submission. My house then wasn't convenient for all to gather. Rather, I needed a temporary office space so we all can use for a few days or a week. I didn't know how easy that was to be especially considering not ending up with scammers but fortunate for me and us, Regus had the solution for the problem. Office space that was a perfect fit for me and my team was available via Refus, we agreed on terms for 5 days which was later extended to one week due to work volume. My greatest mistake was traveling with John, a close friend of mine without knowing the condition of his car. In the middle of no where, the vehicle broke down and none of us was skillful or had experience on how to do emergency. A4 (Landscape) Hardcover Photo Book (60 pages)
After a very special holiday I made the decision to edit the photos from the trip and create a photobook to give as a gift to my Mum for Christmas.
I spent many hours sorting, selecting and editing the photos and this morning sat down to create the product. A few hours later I was finished but hit a road block right when adding the product to the cart. I was stuck on a loading screen. Terrified to refresh the screen in case I lost an entire mornings work I contacted customer support with little hope.
I got through to Angelina from Customer Support at PrinterPix.
She got to work straight away and identified my project, only when trying to look at the screenshot she sent me I ended up closing the browser window and lost the chat. We all know how frustrating this can be when either a helpline disconnects or your support chat disappears.
I started a new Customer Support request and Max came online. Miraculously Angelina appeared, took over the chat and we began where we finished off. Within five minutes Angelina had sorted the issue and I am now in receipt of the Order Confirmation of my PhotoBook.
I can't attest for the quality of the product as I won't receive it for a while but if the product is created with as much care as Angelina put into my support request I know it will turn out great.

Bought an Arlo go for £299 from fonehouse on 5th may. On the 19th May I still didn't have it so emailed a complaint. On the 25th may they agreed to give me a full refund but we are now on the 8th June and they have ignored 3 emails from me asking where my £299 is. I'm now contacting my bank and trading standards.

Very poor response from AUTODOC after I ordered a defective clutch from them and mounted it.
If you need to send back defective product at Autodoc, you can count on a long and drawn out process with many phone calls, email conversations, arguments, anxiety and stress!
In this case, I have been trying to claim a faulty clutch for over six months. After six months of contact with Autodoc, I am entitled to compensation as the complaint got ”Approved".
But it was lucky because they refused the guarantee several times before due to special criteria they found from nowwhere that I did not meet.
In order to implement this complaint, I have had to order new clutch and pay workshop costs with my own money.
Workshop cost: 405€.
New clutch: 205€.
Total: 610€.
After half a year, I finally get response that I will get money back. But then I suddenly only get 390€.
There is missing 220€ from Autodoc, which I myself had to pay from my pocket.
Their arguments include:
"so it is not considered a replacement."
Instead of ordering a new LUK clutch, I instead ordered a SACHS, which costs as much.
They also say that a clutch Job takes only 3.7 hours according to an random calculation, so they write: “We don't pay 104€ per hour. That is far too high. The invoice was therefore reduced. 249€ for the repair is absolutely justified. There is therefore no reason to pay additional costs. "
So since their random calculator says it will take 3.7 hours, they take the right and lower the workshop invoice to 249€ even though it costed me 405€ in workshop costs. In addition, 405€ is not a big cost of a complete clutch job at the small workshop I did at. BMW GROUP workshop wanted almost 2 870€ for replacement of clutch with materials included. There we do not talk about 405€ in labor costs.
They also write:
“You have received far too much money back (264€ ). It should only have been 138€ since the flywheel costs 392€. ”Despite they said that I could leave the flywheel on my car (Have conversational proof of what they sent.)
Now I will move on to the General Complaints Board and continue the matter. Soon I will claim for economic damages for all the time I spent on this.Review about: Fonehouse

on the 3rd.Dec.2018, there was a drainage blockage at our property. 24/7 home rescue sent one technician over in the evening. The technician removed tree leaves from the top of the filter, and then took out the filter, but the blockage was still there. Then the guy opened up two covers of the drainage well, then used two pcs of rod, finally he managed to unblock the blockage in the drain. But today when we called 24/7 home rescue to ask for 35 pounds refund which was taken by 24/7 on 03.Dec.2018, the staff said the money could not be refund to us because drain blockage was caused by kitchen oil and grease. How can the kitchen oil make a blockage at 25 meters away from kitchen?
