Disgusted How They Treat Sellers!
I have been with Etsy for 8+years and have a 100% good rating on sales with buyers. no issues and no charge backs in 8 years. suddenly they changed their stance with my account and wanted to hold back most of my money for 45 days ? for no reason and had no explanation for it. I made a complaint and they just said tough. like it or lump it

13 Days (nearly) Sri Lanka ...amp... Maldives
Having travelled with Exoticca (first 2 weeks of February 2023) and now having spent 2 fruitless weeks pursuing a formal complaint, I strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs. Based on my experience, your documentation / itinerary will be misleading, subject to late change and the quality of your accommodation will be vastly below expectations and the price paid. Thereafter, Exoticca will continually fob you off with references to small print and simply tell you to take matters up with the local agent, from whom they will have procured the holiday (and clearly with who you will have no contract).
We paid £9,316 for an Asian holiday (Sri Lanka and the Maldives) with 11 nights ‘in Destination’ having paid the additional cost of (their words) ‘Luxury Category Hotels’. The warning bells should have sounded when my itinerary described it as ‘13 nights in Destination’. I now have written confirmation from Exoticca that they class a night on a plane as being a night ‘in Destination’.
The more fundamental problems started the week before I left for the holiday, when I noticed that all four of the Sri Lankan hotels had been changed from my previous itinerary without any notification to myself whatsoever. It was only by chance that in downloading the Exoticca App shortly before leaving, that I even noticed the change. I duly complained by phone, prior to leaving, and was told in no uncertain terms their ability to change the hotels is in the small print in the Terms and Conditions so there’s nothing I or they could or would do about it. Failing to even actively notify a customer that 80% of their hotels have changed is, to my mind, simply unacceptable.
Having previously taken holidays throughout South East Asia, circa £9.5K is an expensive holiday and we would have expected that the three 5-Star hotels and two 4-Star hotels were of the highest quality.
In short, the Sri Lankan hotels were simply of an unacceptable standard for a holiday of this value. Problems included: air conditioning not working... cockroaches in the sink... very tired, old fashioned rooms... mouldy curtains... multiple broken items (sink, shower, shower curtain, toilet, safe, phone)... and appalling / inedible buffet food (no ala carte food at any of the hotels). Particular lowlights were the Tourmaline hotel in Kandy, where were the only guests staying in the entire hotel for 2 nights and we were offered an in hotel meal choice of either fish and chips or pasta and tomato sauce, or alternatively they would take us to another hotel for a buffet. At The Palms in Beruwala (comfortably the worst of the worst), we endured a karaoke party in the adjacent room until 04.30 in the morning despite numerous requests to reception to intervene, which they failed to do.
Having now reviewed the cost for 2 people staying at each of the Sri Lankan hotels (Arie Lagoon, Tropical Life, Tourmaline ... The Palms) the position is, as can be seen on multiple hotel booking sites, that 7 of our 11 ‘in Destination’ nights cost a total of £395 out of a holiday costing just under £9.5K. This is simply a complete rip-off and wholly disproportionate to the type of holiday accommodation we should have expected for the money paid.
Our experience of dealing with Exoticca throughout the events described above was terrible. Effectively it was left with me and the local agent to try and make the best of a bad job. On a cost for cost basis, this is the worst holiday experience I have ever had.
Having now pursued a formal compliant for circa 3 weeks, Exoticca have now confirmed to me in writing, that what they describe as a 4... or 5... ‘category’ hotel on my itinerary, has nothing whatsoever to do with its official rating, it is the TripAdvisor score. No where on any of my holiday documentation is this stated and the information presented is patently misleading. Clearly, a TripAdvisor score is directly influenced by the cost paid. I might have ranked some of my hotels slightly higher if paying £50 per night for 2 people. I wasn’t. To date, they offered me a £120 credit off my next Exoticca booking, eventually increased to £300. No thanks – AVOID!Review about: Swoon Editions

Wrong chair was delivered. I waited in for them to collect it, nobody showed up. Waited in again and it finally left my hallway. Then the battle to get a refund began. Do not waste your time, energy or money on this company.

Negative . Worst Company to deal with ! 1st order nothing for 3 weeks had to open Paypal Case as did not respond to email. Never got ordered refunded 1 weeks Later Total 4 weeks. I've used Helloprint quite a few times and I've had good and bad experiences. Most of the printing is off shore but I think some products are done in the UK. Their banners for instance, are superb! Best around. But other stuff not so good. Their customer service is poor and they use UPS, who are shocking! So keep an open mind and don't be too fussy!!

Graphic Design Course
I’m only one lesson in, but the course so far has been extremely well thought through and executed. It’s a crash course in Design but so far the unexpected content has surprised me in a good way.
It's very helpful and well executed. All the information and lessons are useful.
The first lesson has been good and I would have rated it more highly if it hadn't been for the endless emails and text meessages coming through.
It brilliant and surpassed my expectations. The fact that students can reschedule missed lessons and excellent delivery of lessons makes Shaw Academy the right online education platform.
Shaw Academy is a very great app. It offers free courses to help build one's skill.
I am getting new and relevant insights in the chosen class I joined. It is helpful as a startup. Interesting that it allowed me to continue the next lessons and now motivated to finish the four modules.
I'm in my second class, the course content is very rich and unexpectedly interesting and fun. Looking forward to the third one.
This is my second lesson and I am enjoying it. There is so much that goes into design that you would never think of. I love the history behind it and the cultural symbolizations for color.
If am to express some of the great things that ever happened to me during this lockdown, I'd rate getting to know shaw Academy 5 and taking my first graphic design class a 6 cos God did created the greatest reality on the 6th day. Awesome, can't be less grateful.
I'm only 2 courses in, but Shaw Academy does a great job of simplifying the basic principles of Graphic Design. I didn't expect to learn the history of Graphic Design, but I'm glad they included it. Well executed content.
I already had 2 lessons, everything is good, I think in order to improve will be good to have some kind of Flow chart to let the user understand the whole process for each course, including payments, paid assets, diploma, etc.
I am learning both practical knowledge and also principles around the techniques.
Really enjoyed the first lesson, the overview information has me excited about what is coming.

I took the courses like web designing, graphic design, illustration and digital marketing. I find that i was learning in a good pace with info packed lessons. Just like a crash course but more practical. It doesn't get boring because it's an hour at a time. The lesson plans are great and made in a gradual and easy to understand manner. The end of lessons quiz and assignments are easy to do. There are ample reminders to attend lessons emails, SMS, app notifications, web countdowns which gets a bit tedious sometimes but I don't really mind it. One thing though, there are emails saying I missed lessons but I haven't, I'm sure there are ways to identify attendance or make a better attendance system in the future. What I'm hoping to get out of the lessons are fast tracked skills to be able to start work independently as a freelancer and because of the skills i get and the lessons learned, I feel more confident in my abilities. It's great for people who want to enter a new industry like me, or start a hobby, or have some knowledge but not enough to move ahead. I do recommend these courses and I have nothing but good feedback for Shaw Academy online lessons, its coaches and systems. Thank you.

I'm two lessons in and the course content is good so far.
However the customer service is horrible! I had some questions about my student account and some charges so I sent an email. Twice. No response to date. I joined the free course but it seems to have alot of hidden fees like after every module you have to purchase an certificate for each module before you can unlock assignments or move on to another module. That's not fair. They should state all this inflation before joining so you can know the total cost for joining. Also when I downloaded the app and I sign in, its asking me to set up payment info again, and it was setting me up as a new user. So although I did my lesson on the laptop, my phone app was saying I missed a lesson. So I deleted the app.
I'm not sure but I'm thinking of cancelling if I dont hear from customer service soon.I have been enjoying the class so far right from Module 1 and am very sure it is going to a great class at the end of whole Module. Thanks to shawacademy for this great opportunity.

This is my first time to enroll crash course online because of fear of scams and phishing nowadays. But they are real and I can say reliable. I am so far in my trial phase lesson 3 and because of excitement to learn I bought the toolkit for advanced learning.
I was also able to reschedule the 2 lessons as I missed them and It was an easy click.I had your class for the first time today, and I had a class link because I didn't have the application so I was joined from link. But I observed that here are lots of students whose English is not very good , due to that most of the students are not comfortable so I have request to you please give us subtitle to understand more easily and the one last thing is please focus on a more practical , and make a video on that how to download a editing software. Thank-you.

What I disliked was just clicking to see an offer and being charged for it.
I felt injured.I have taken 2 lessons in Graphic Design and have learned alot from teacher so far. I am waiting for this course to end to take another course

I am taking the first module for Graphic Design, and have only good things to say about the experience so far. Lessons are very well thought out, and if you happen to miss one, it is very easy to reschedule the webinar for an alternate day. I look forward to the rest of the course, and am very likely to use Shaw Academy again.
A great program! I'm really excited to keep learning about Graphic Design. The only down-side is when the instructor asks for your opinion, there's no where to give it and not enough time to write in the comments.
