    Got help with delivery issue

    There was a bit of a mix-up with my delivery, but Daniel was an absolute legend. He managed to track down my missing box, sorted everything out, and even threw in some credit for the inconvenience. He really took the time to listen, got what I was going through, and fixed the problem. Big thank you to Daniel!

    I called to cancel my beer subscription and Andy, the person I spoke to, was brilliant. He was really helpful and friendly. The only downside was the long wait on the phone before getting through to someone. It would be much better if we could cancel our subscriptions online.

    Beer selection variety

    The choice of beers and ales is really great. It's nice being able to try out lots of different brews. I've enjoyed tasting the different flavours and learning about them. There were a couple that I didn't really like, but I'm glad I got to figure out what I do like. In general, I'm happy with the service and the quality of the products I've tried.

    I have to admit, I wasn't too keen on cancelling my subscription at first, but when I finally made the call, I was really surprised by how great the customer service was. Even though I had to wait on hold for a bit, the lady I spoke to, Jilly, was really friendly and handled my cancellation smoothly. She did a good job of explaining the perks of the subscription without pressuring me to keep it. I must say, I was quite impressed with the customer service I received.

    Subscription cancellation experience

    Overall, my experience with cancelling my subscription was quite positive. I really liked the first pack of beers I got from Beer52, but since I'm not a big beer fan, I decided to cancel. When I called to cancel, I spoke to a really nice lady on the phone who was very friendly and understanding. She didn't try to push me into keeping the subscription, although she did mention a good offer that was available. I thought the way she handled the cancellation was very professional and courteous.

    I must say, the customer service I got was absolutely fantastic. Joanne really went out of her way to help me, and she even shared some really useful advice. I was so pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful she was. Plus, the delivery was super fast and everything ran smoothly - I couldn't find a single fault with the service. I will definitely be sticking with them and renewing my subscription in the future.

    Subscription payment query

    I had to give customer service a ring the other day about my subscription payments. Joanne, the person I spoke to, was really helpful and understanding. She went through all the options with me and gave me some good advice on managing my subscriptions in the future. I was seriously impressed with how well she looked after me, it made me feel like a valued customer. All in all, I've had a great experience with the company and its staff during my time as a subscriber.

    £324 a year for 96 terrible cans of ...
    Be careful ordering from this company. i had a cheap voucher just before Christmas and thought why not give it a go. filled in the relevant stuff on line and my order was delivered. 8 tiny cans of poor tasting ... with sticky labels on. I thought oh well at least i wont be ordering again and it was cheap with the voucher,
    No less than a moth later they take £27 out of my account for another delivery of the same terrible stuff. I asked for my money back and was refused do then emailed customer service to be told i cant return something that i don't want and they are keeping my money. 2 lessons here read the small print when ordering and don't bother in the first place, 8 very small cans of disappointment. £27 a month for 8 cans thats £324 for 96 small badly tasting beers .

    Subscription cancellation experience

    I was actually thinking of cancelling my subscription, but I have to say, I was really impressed by the customer service I received. The lady I spoke to, Haley, was so professional and even managed to add a bit of humour to the call, which made it quite pleasant. It's clear that their commitment to top-notch service really shows through in her excellent customer service skills. I might have to rethink my decision about cancelling my subscription, all thanks to the great experience I had with Beer52.

    Monthly subscription beer box

    As someone who's been getting the beer box monthly, I have really loved trying out all the different beers they've picked out for me. Every month, I've got a mix of interesting brews, some snacks to go with them, and a magazine that tells me all about the background of each beer. But lately, I've been cutting back on my drinking, so I've decided to pause my subscription for now. I've really enjoyed getting to taste new kinds of beer that I might not have tried otherwise. I'm looking forward to starting up my subscription again in the future because I've had such a good time exploring new beers and learning more about them through this service.

    I got in touch with customer service the other day to cancel my subscription that I signed up for when there was a special introductory deal. After a short time on hold, I spoke to a guy called Frazer. Gotta admit, I was pretty impressed with how professional and polite he was during our chat. Frazer was not only nice but also super helpful, quick, and easy to talk to. He made sure I was happy with everything, offered to help if required, explained how to cancel clearly, and even sent me an email afterwards just like he said he would.

    I just wanted to share that I recently tried to cancel my subscription, and I had such a great experience with the customer service rep. Even though I was set on cancelling, they really went out of their way to offer me different options to save some cash. I was really impressed by how much they cared and paid attention to everything, it almost made me change my mind about cancelling.

    AVOID! Awful company. Sneakily signed me up to subscription without me knowing after free box. As soon as I noticed and contacted them to cancel, refund and stop dispatch they refused and basically said its tough luck. I would certainly not recommend, very overpriced and jot very friendly or helpful customer service. AVOID!

    This is a total con, avoid it like the plague. Introductory offer lures you in the you get a box of ... for an ongoing £27 per month you weren’t aware you were subscribed to. Hidden in the detail and small print deliberately. Customer service terrible. Do not subscribe to this con.

    Terrible experience. Signed up due to the nature and price of the deal on offer however the company then employed underhanded tactics into keeping me signed up whilst also automatically charging my card the following month leaving me in a financially precarious position.

    There is NO option to cancel your subscription online once you have made the first payment which is incredibly shady as you have to pay money in order to call the company directly by phone, wait on hold, before speaking to a customer representative in order to cancel. THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING UP TO THIS COMPANY as my card was charged without my knowledge and once it had been charged beer52 did nothing to help me out.

    They claimed once my card had been charged the wine/... was automatically sent out for delivery, which was strange because I had not received any message from the courier company that it was out for delivery. The delivery was only dispatched 2 days after this claim which shows they are also willing to tell mistruths in order to keep peoples money!

    At this point I offered to send the delivery back to them at my own cost which was met with a resounding NO. I also then asked if there could be some kind of discount offered as I had a bill to pay and the amount beer52 took from my card meant I could not pay my bill in full. Again this was met with a resounding NO.

    Basically my interactions with this company left a sour taste in my mouth and I believe people need to hear what happened to me before deciding whether to spend their hard earned cash on a company such as beer52.

    PS. The actual ... and wine isn't even all that great either. I would personally stay well away!

    It’s made very difficult to cancel despite emailing and telephoning I was still charged... a month on again despite endless emails and telephone conversations I have not received a refund... the unhelpful polite responses are strategic in the companies intention not to refund, never again.

About Beer52

Beer52 is an online company that offers subscriptions for cases of craft beers. Their customers have the choice of 8 or 10 monthly beers which are expertly picked, taking into account their beer preferences and then delivered straight to their home. 

Customer Services: What services does this company provide and what can they offer you?

The Beer 52 product operates by first asking the customer what they like and their favourite flavours, after which experts from Beer 52 select the best beers for their taste and have them delivered to the customer's door. The customer can then review and rate the beers that they received. 

When choosing your subscription, you can choose from either an 8 pack which costs £24 and includes 8 beers, a Ferment magazine and a snack, the 10 pack which costs £29 and includes 10 beers, a Ferment magazine and a snack or the Ferment magazine which costs £4.99. Once you have selected your subscription, if you choose one of beer offers, you then must choose whether you prefer Light and Hoppy beers like pale ales and IPA's or Mixed and Surprising, with a wide variety from light pale ales to dark stouts. Once you have selected your beer you can choose a subscription for 1 month (£29 or £24 per case), 3 months (£28 or £23 per case), 6 months (£27 or £22 per case) or 12 months (£26 or £21 per case). 

Beer 52 products can easily be sent as gifts, with a choice of three options, a Digital Gift Card instantly dleivered with a personalised message, a Gift Card by Post with a personalised greeting card or Beer by Post, a one off case include either 8 or 10 craft beers, the Ferment magazine, your personalised card and a snack.
