Light beers box
I took advantage of a very good deal. Unlike others I was aware that I was joining a club. The beers weren’t to my taste so I decided to cancel after the first delivery. Cancellation is only possible by phone and initially I found this very frustrating as the 0203 number I found on the website disconnected after six minutes on hold every time. I then found a 0131 number which was answered after about ten minutes. The chap I spoke to was very helpful; obviously he offered me incentives to stay but then he duly cancelled my account, which was quickly followed by an email confirmation.
10 mins on the phone at 50p per minute just to cancel your subscription. You were lucky to get this done in 10 mins. A lot of people wait 20 mins and then their call is disconnected. Total scam

I spoke with James, as I was going to cancel due to not getting through all what we have!!(this is unusual!) But instead delayed for a few months, which will give us chance to catch up, ready to resume in a few months, was a lovely happy chat and chappy! Helen

Because I only order when they have a good deal on I've had to ring and cancel my subscription a few times, in the past this has meant a very long time on hold, but my most recent call was much better. It was answered immediately and the person who helped me (Portia I believe) was extremely friendly and helpful.

I've been a longstanding customer of both Beer and Wine52 however this month they have shown themselves to have no customer service.
Three weeks my regular ... delivery was allegedly despatched. After a week it had still not left the depot of their carrier. Each day I chased o was either ignored or told to wait another 24 hours. A week on and STILL NO DELIVERY !!
Obviously the handling parcel company had lost or stolen the .... In week 3 they promised delivery in 24 to 48 hours using another parcel company. However they failed to deal and then the second company alleged to deliver. I have security cameras and an investigation proved it had NOT BEEN DELIVERED. So 3 weeks have passed and they have NOT DONE ANYTHING TO RESOLVE !!! CEO to rude to reply to correspondence and customer services handler JED thinks over familiarity is acceptable whilst absolutely failing to resolve !!!!!!! We head into week 4 and still no apologies and no resolution. Just ignorance and excuses.
Avoid this company if you value service and are prepared to risk your orders not being provided but lost / stolen.
Courier left it on the doorstep without notifying us it was there. A child or anyone could have gotten a hold of it.

Cancelation difficult and customer services are very bad!!
I bought a subscription, when I went to cancel a message comes up after going through the process to call as it a small business and that's how it works! Fine but its difficult for most people who work for obvious reasons. I did call, my cancelation was not processed and I was charged again!! I bought as a gift for my husband at Christmas but he thought the beers were very average and the subscription not worth it. I have now emailed as I have proof and even though I emailed long before the Beers sent the company are refusing to give me a refund!

This company is awful. No one should order ... from here. Firstly customer services are not helpful they not doing the job in a right way. They are useless for sorting their mistakes. Be careful with subscriptions if they can charge even if you don't want it they will and they not even going to put an effort to sort out their mistakes.
I asked for a refund for their mistake and they offered me 6 pounds and a refund of 24 pounds. It shows their attitude toward a customer.
No one should go with them. It is expensive and they are not helpful for you.

Shockingly Disappointing. Arrived nearly a month late (was supposed to be before Christmas, finally turned up in January). mediocre beers in small tins, inedible snacks that went straight in the bin.
Ignored email to cancel then steamrolled ahead with the next order. Various emails to customer services (never the same person), to be told that I have to organise return to sort out their mistakes.
Don't be fooled by the special offers, it's poor value for money and an absolute pain to get out of.
Monthly beer box of 10 cans
Signed up to Beer 52 for December, tempted by their Beers of Croatia for said month. The box all comprising 330ml cans finally arrived on 29th Dec with only 2 cans related to beers from Croatia, the remainder coming from UK. So certainly nothing to get excited about. They call them awesome beers but I was totally underwhelmed. I had retained the box in case they had dispatched the wrong box or a generic box however given they could not be bothered to respond I will today dump all of their glitzy product into the bin..Is it worth £29 a month,,definately not.
My main bug bear is that I wasted my time emailing them on 10th Jan to clarify if this was the correct order. I got a funky holding email and again a week later with zero back emailed once more. As you will find with this company, lots of wow and magic but incapable of helping me. Dont tell me, you were really really busy or you are a really small business or someone has dropped the ball and in 99% of the time you are world beaters in everything you do. As with the other recent review, you can be dazzled by all sorts on their site however try cancelling and thats where their technical limits end. So I have to call them and tell them I want to immediately cancel my membership and guess what the guy having taken my details says 'hey you sound very frustrated, is everything OK with you today'! Like what a joke and the complete nerve of this place to come out with that load of drivel. He then further compounds matters by telling me all about what I am going to lose if I cancel, 100 points for this, 26p discount, a cuddly toy etc--laughable eh--all that effort now but absolutely zero effort beforehand--priceless eh. Tip: If you spent your time actually providing ANY customer service rather than trying to build a deeply insincere empathy for how I feel you would be much better served. Any chance they had of retaining me absolutely went out the window when the guy started with those antics. Yes I am frustrated that your delivery promised to get to me prior to Xmas but arrived on 29th Dec, these things happen. I am frustrated in that when I opened the box I got an underwhelming delivery . I was especially frustrated that I sent 2 emails to your business with regard to my order and as a first time customer you would have thought Beer 52 might have given the illusion of service but you would be wrong. You cared so much about my queries that in return across over a week all I got was silence and then the cheek of your call agent to build empathy when I have to call these people to cancel my service.
I had told a lot of family all about Beer 52 so well done Beer 52 you turn me from an advocate to someone who will proactively be telling all and everyone to avoid this silly company for the reasons listed. Deeply unimpressed by the whole experience

I joined up because of a voucher where the first case of beers was only 6 pounds. However, you are joining a subscription club. They say it is possible to cancel, but this is only possible through a phone call. Calling the number leads to some wait time - 10 minutes. I think it should be made clear that you won't be able to cancel just online.

Order paid for over 3 weeks ago and still nothing has been recieved. Have attempted contact via email, phone, Twitter and instagram with no response from anyting. shocking customer service. i am at a complete loss of how to resolve this issue.
Totally inconvenient experience dealing with this company. So disappointed by quality and how difficult it is to cancel. Be prepared to sit on hold and try multiple times to cancel a subscription. There is no other way. Seems like deliberate and awkward tactics to retain customers, comes across as unprofessional and a bit unethical to be honest.
Subscribed while on offer, then didn't enjoy as much as we thought we would.
Easy to subscribe online, easy to modify account online but have to call to cancel for no clear reason other than to get extra cash from people. I do not recommend
monthly beer subscription
avoid, avoid, avoid...... took the discounted try out subscription and then decided to cancel as i didn't think £24 for 8 beers was good value especially as one or two were pretty mediocre. Tried calling a number of times as the only way it lets you cancel to call a number - that's right you can't cancel online at all. I was on hold for close to 15 minutes with no answer and the call is then ended from their side. diabolical customer service, for what is essentially a business that should be all about customer.
