Taste card, dining out, affordability, Manchester, variety
As someone who loves trying out new restaurants, I've found Taste card to be really useful in helping me save money whilst still enjoying eating out. The discounts you get with Taste card mean I can try lots of different types of food and restaurants without spending too much. However, I do wish there were more restaurant choices in Manchester. It can get a bit boring going to the same places all the time, so it would be great to see more exciting dining options available with Taste card in this city.
Discount at Indian restaurant
Oh, I just have to tell you about this amazing meal I had at a cosy little Indian restaurant nearby not long ago. The food was absolutely scrumptious, the service was brilliant, and you know what made it even better? I got a great discount with my Tastecard. I mean, who doesn't love saving a bit of cash, eh? It was such a bargain - saved a whopping £30 on a delicious meal for 3. I honestly can't fault a single thing about the whole experience.
Cinema dinner
This is always our go-to place after we've been to the cinema. Even though it was really busy when we got here, our server was really friendly and said sorry for making us wait. We picked out our main meal and had a chat about whether we had room for dessert. The food was amazing, came quickly, and was really hot. The portions were big and the prices were fair. Our server looked after us well and really made our meal even better.
Discount dining
Tastecard is brilliant for getting discounts when you eat out. It's a good way to save some cash while still treating yourself to meals at different restaurants. It's also a bonus for restaurants as it gets more people dining out in their quieter times, helping to increase sales. The only downside is that there could be more restaurants on board. It would be nice to have a greater choice for customers to pick from.
Helpful customer service
I recently got in touch with a customer service rep called Lynda for some info, and she was really helpful. She listened to my questions, gave me clear and straight answers. I really liked her friendly attitude and how she was willing to help me out.
Prompt response, helpful
The customer service was really quick to respond to all my questions, and they were super helpful when I had trouble trying to register my card. They managed to fix everything for me, so I could start using it right away. I'm so grateful for their help!
Cost-saving membership
This membership is a total game-changer for anyone who loves going out for meals or to the cinema a lot. I've saved loads of money just on my usual coffee and tea orders when meeting up with friends. Plus, getting 2 for 1 meal deals and cheaper cinema tickets has been a huge plus. I would definitely recommend this membership to anyone wanting to save money while still having fun.
Taste card offer disappointment
It's disappointing that you can get the exact same offer without needing to purchase the Taste Card. What's the point of joining a membership when you can simply go in and receive the same discount? The service and food were excellent, no doubt about that, but it's a bit frustrating to think I could have avoided the trouble of signing up for the Taste Card.
Great discounts
This app is amazing for saving money. I always make sure to check for any discounts on here before buying anything, and it hardly ever lets me down. I've managed to save quite a bit of money thanks to this app, and I really think more people should know about how helpful it is. It's really easy to use and helps you find deals on all sorts of things.
Lunch with daughter
I had a really delicious classic burger and hotdog with my daughter earlier on. The service was really quick and everything tasted so good. I did get a bit worried when I saw all the stairs leading to the toilet as I find it hard to get around, but the staff were really helpful and showed me to the accessible toilet on the other side of the bar.
Coffee shop discount
I went to a coffee shop and tried out my discount card for the first time. It was brilliant! The app worked perfectly and I got a really good discount on my favourite coffee. I was absolutely chuffed with the whole experience and I'll definitely be using my discount card again in the future!
Couldn't cancel
I tried to cancel, but they wouldn't let me, so now I'm stuck for ages with no decent restaurants.
Coffees not worth it
Bella Italia was nice, but it's disappointing to see fewer and fewer food places accepting tastecard. Nowadays, it's mostly just for coffee places, which isn't really my cup of tea. It looks like the number of restaurants you can use it at has gone down, which is a shame for people who like to have a selection of places to eat out at. I used to have fun trying out different places with my tastecard, but now it feels like it's only useful for coffee fans. It's a shame to see the options shrinking.

Lynda was really lovely and helpful when I needed assistance. But it’s a bit confusing not being able to have a proper chat with someone.
Group bill savings
I think it's really cool how you can save a lot of money by using this thing to pay for things with your mates. I easily found where I wanted to go, and I reckon it's definitely worth buying if you're going to use it often.
Sorted out my account issue
I had a bit of trouble with my account, but a really lovely woman sorted everything out for me. She explained what needed to be done to fix it, and she kept her promises about when it would be sorted. She's an absolute legend.
Quick and easy registration process
I had a bit of trouble registering my new card, but when I rang the number they gave, a really nice lady fixed everything super quickly. Then a couple of days later, I got an email with some instructions, but when I logged in, I saw that everything had already been sorted out. The service was absolutely fantastic - thanks a lot!
3 month trial subscription
I wanted to share my recent experience with a 3-month trial subscription that didn't go quite as planned. I had signed up hoping to give it a go, but ended up not using it at all. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the annual subscription fee had been deducted from my account without me even knowing! I had planned to cancel on a certain date, but by the time I got around to it, it was too late. The fact that there was no heads-up about the renewal and no chance to change my mind afterwards left me feeling pretty annoyed and let down.
Discounted meal
I was excited to use my discount at a restaurant, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The discount was good, but it wasn't as easy as I thought. The food was okay, but nothing special. I felt let down that the experience didn't match what was advertised.
