The instructions are not fit for purpose if you are a beginner.I ordered the rod control and not the chain on one of them and there are no clear instructions .
I believe these were a total waste of money.

Glad to hear you found the ordering process was simple and that your order was delivered altogether within the quoted lead time.
Labelling on the boxes can often be something used by the courier and added for their reference and so you're correct that it can be a bit confusing, however upon opening the box you'll have seen what has been received and if anything is missing.
Our instructions are made to be as simple and easy-to-understand as possible, however, we encourage anyone who gets stuck to give us a call so we can talk you through it on the phone. The installation instructions for a chain operated roller blind and a crank-operated roller blind are exactly the same because the only difference is that the handle needs to be hooked on to the mechanism which is very self-explanatory, but the actual installation is exactly the same.
I'm not sure why you feel these blinds are a 'total waste of money' considering you received exactly what was ordered, within the time you expected and with no issues with what was supplied. Please feel free to get in touch with suggestions on how we can improve this.
