Recent travel insurance purchase
I recently got travel insurance and had to make a claim because I lost a checked bag on my trip. Dealing with the insurance company was a right nightmare, to be honest. It took them an absolute age, 20 days, just to reply to my emails. Then I got passed on to these claims handlers who weren't rated very highly. It ended up taking a whopping six months, loads of emails, and even a complaint to the ombudsman to finally get them to sort out the claim. And even then, I only got a tiny bit of what my stuff was actually worth.

I missed the delivery of my necklace, but they tried to deliver it quickly. I went to pick it up from the WHSmith post office, but it was closed on Saturday and yesterday due to not having enough staff. I don't know when I'll be able to get my hands on my purchase now. Dealing with these delays is annoying, and I reckon the postal provider should upgrade their services to avoid inconveniencing customers. I just hope that my necklace arrives in perfect condition when I eventually get it.

I would strongly advise against using this company! They have ripped me off for hundreds of euros by failing to keep their promise of giving me the Loyalty Bonus +. I was really excited to give the Women's Weekend shoe in marble white from Vessi a go. I'd heard lots of good things about their waterproof, breathable, lightweight, and comfy footwear, so I was keen to see for myself. The shoe looked really cute and I was loving the overall look. But, after wearing them for a while, I was pretty let down. My feet were burning up and the shoes weren't as breathable as I'd hoped. The lack of support and cushioning made it hard for me to wear them for long periods. They definitely didn't feel like the promised "walking on clouds" experience. Overall, my time with the Vessi Women's Weekend shoe wasn't what I expected.

7-night motorhome holiday at a poorly-maintained campsite
I recently went on a 7-night motorhome holiday at Widemouth Bay, but my experience wasn't great. I ended up leaving early after 5 nights because the touring area was in poor condition. I couldn't find anywhere to empty the grey water from our van, which I thought would be a basic necessity. The new toilet block was a disaster - only one hook on the wall, no shower curtain, and no seating for older people like us to dry off and change comfortably. When I raised these concerns with some staff members, they just brushed off our complaints. It seemed like they didn't have the authority to address the issues.

The customer service at this company is absolutely terrible. They don't even provide a phone number for customers to call, which makes it really difficult to sort out any issues or questions. This inflexibility and lack of concern for customers is just not on. What's more, the items I received weren't what I expected, which just made things even more frustrating. Fit of chinos changed
I recently bought a pair of chinos from the shop and I was really disappointed because the fit was totally different. I'd already bought two pairs in 2022 that fitted perfectly, nice and slim. But this new pair I got has a much looser fit in the thigh and leg, and the ankle opening is now nearly 2cm wider. They didn't say anything about this change on the website, and the size chart with measurements still hasn't been updated to show the new fit. It's annoying to have to start the whole process of finding a chino that fits well all over again, especially when most high street options just don't meet my needs.

Recent hotel stay
I had a really bad experience at this hotel. They said they would help but then changed their minds and couldn't do anything about the problems. I'm not happy at all and I want to make a complaint. I booked two rooms but couldn't use them because the walkway near the hotel was in such bad condition. It was so uneven and high that I got injured when I fell, and I lost my armlet and broke my glasses, which cost me 1300 euros. I searched for my armlet but couldn't find it, even though the staff looked for it. The hotel is too focused on taking money from the next customer to care about the walkway, even though they've renovated the walkway for two other hotels nearby. I have photos of the walkway for proof. I want a refund of what I paid and compensation for the things I lost.

I had a really disappointing experience with this company recently. They said they welcome German guests on their website but then only communicated in English, which was just the start of the problems. They charged me more than we agreed and when I had to cancel my booking because I was ill, I didn't get a refund. I've ordered cat food from Miscota twice now, getting Felix dry food and Gourmet wet food with rabbit. Everything went smoothly both times, no problems at all. The food quality was top-notch and my cats really enjoyed it. The delivery took a little longer than I expected, coming after 8 days, but these products aren't easy to find in the UK so I didn't mind the wait. The shipping cost was based on the weight of my order, so I paid £17 for £25 worth of food. It was a tad expensive, but it made sense considering the circumstances. I recently visited St Ives holiday village and I have to say, it was a bit disappointing. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty, but the bungalow we stayed in was a nightmare. The toilet seat was falling off, there wasn't a blind in the shower so people outside could see in, there was nowhere to put our shower products, nowhere to hang up wet towels, the floor was creaky, the sofa was incredibly uncomfortable, and the beds were as hard as rocks. It was so uncomfortable that we ended up leaving a day earlier than planned. I definitely won't be going back there again!

Safari disappointment in Tanzania
My safari experience in Tanzania was a bit of a let-down to be honest. I had such a good time on the Taste of Kenya safari, so I had high expectations for Tanzania. But then things started going downhill when our driver/guide got sick in the Serengeti and ended up being sick outside the vehicle. It was pretty grim. We had to join another group for 2 and a half days, changing our "small group" safari into a "large group" one. This sudden switch caused some tension among the group and kind of ruined what should have been an amazing experience. I think it would have been nice if the company had apologised for the inconvenience.

Collagen supplement purchase
