    TV purchase

    I've just bought a new telly and I'm a bit disappointed with the remote control. It's not very user-friendly as you need to have the lights on to see which button you're pressing. Also, when you switch it on, it automatically goes back to the last channel you were watching. Some other remotes let you type in the channel number you want to go to, which would be handy. Another downside is that you can only record telly shows on this TV, there's no option for internet or anything else. Plus, you can only watch the recordings on this TV and not on any other devices. It's frustrating that you can't record one channel while watching another, it would definitely be more convenient.

    I had to get in touch with customer service a few times to sort out a problem with my order, but I'm happy to report that I finally got my order today, and the issue was sorted in just 2 days. Although it was a hassle to keep calling, I found the customer service team to be really helpful and knew their stuff when it came to sorting out my concerns. They even made an effort to keep me in the loop with updates on my order, which I thought was great. All in all, I'm happy with how everything was dealt with and thankful for how quickly it was all sorted.

    OLED TV purchase replaced remote

    I've just bought myself an OLED TV, and let me tell you, the picture quality is absolutely amazing. But, the thing that really got on my nerves was the remote control that came with it. The whole magic pointer and scroll button situation really wound me up, as I just didn't see the need for those features, and annoyingly, I couldn't even turn them off. So, after doing a bit of digging online, I decided to splash out on a replacement remote from an internet retailer just to get around that problem.

The phone seemed great at first, all sleek and shiny, but once I brought it home, it decided to stop working! I reached out to them for help, but all I received were excuses and no actual assistance. It took ages for them to finally send me a replacement, and even then, it was a real struggle to get anything sorted. I really regret not saving up for a Sony instead!

    Microwave purchase

    I'd advise you to be careful when considering purchasing anything from this company, as they don't seem to back up their products. I actually got a microwave from them for £160, and it conked out after a mere 2.5 years. It's a bit of a joke really, since the microwave should've lasted between 7-8 years. But nope, they flat out refused to replace it. Their so-called one-year warranty is pretty pointless if the product kicks the bucket well before that time's up. In my opinion, if a product is shoddily made and it conks out through no fault of the buyer, the company should replace it, not just offer up a refund. This whole episode has definitely left me unimpressed with their customer service, and I'll definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

    Online purchase of TV

    What an absolutely dreadful experience! I tried to order a TV online several times, but each time I kept getting error messages about bank approval and server issues. There was no sign of customer service anywhere - I couldn't get hold of anyone. I ended up cancelling my order, but the status still says it's waiting for payment. It's been a ridiculous and quite frankly terrifying experience.

    Front-loading washing machine, disappointing quality.

    I bought a front-loading washing machine 3 years ago and thought it was a good purchase at first. But now, the drum fins have come loose and all my clothes are getting torn during the wash. I called customer service and they quoted me £300 for repairs, even after offering some goodwill. I'd rather just get a new washing machine at this point. It's annoying that such a small problem has made the whole machine useless. This situation has made me think that LG products aren't very good quality in the long run.

    I wish I had checked out the reviews before buying my TV. The returns and replacement service at this place is so bad. I got my TV 19 days ago, and now LG shop say it's faulty. But instead of sorting me out with a new one quickly, they're taking ages to even check if they have one in stock. It's annoying to see that they're still selling the same TV online when they can't replace mine. Their lack of efficiency and customer service is really disappointing.

    Faulty refrigerator

    I bought a fridge from this company and it broke down after just 6 months. Even though the repair was covered by the warranty, the customer service team were no help at all and wouldn't pay for the food that went off because of the fridge. They told me that my fridge had to be broken for at least 5 days before they would do anything about it, which I thought was really unfair. The fact that they didn't care about how inconvenient and costly it was for me left me very unhappy with the whole situation.

    Dryer drum warranty situation

    I had a right nightmare with my dryer the other day - the drum split in two, even though it's meant to have a 10-year warranty. So I got in touch with customer service, sent over my receipt and some snaps of the damage, but they wouldn't just send me the replacement part. Instead, they insisted on sending a technician round. It felt like a right faff, trying to make us fork out more cash for repairs we might not even need.

    Washer dryer purchase

    I recently bought a washer dryer from this company, and although the product itself seems good, I was really let down by the customer service. On the day of installation, the team said the pipe was too short and the hole wasn't wide enough. They couldn't finish the job and I had to get a plumber to help. The plumber installed it easily and charged me. When I asked the company to refund me, they said no. This lack of responsibility and hassle has put me off buying from them in the future.

    OLED TV with dead pixels

    I bought an OLED TV not long ago at quite a high price, but a few months after the warranty ran out, I spotted loads of dead pixels at the top edges and corners of the screen. I tried to get help from customer service to fix it, but their so-called expert gave me a dismissive response and closed my case without sorting it out. It's pretty disappointing to see this lack of care and responsibility, but sadly, it's not a surprise considering the bad reviews I've read online. LG's automated response system just makes things worse, as it doesn't offer any real solutions or help. Even when I tried to chat with someone live for more info, I got the same unhelpful response. It seems like LG's interest in keeping customers happy disappears as soon as the warranty ends, leaving people feeling ignored and let down. A brand that treats customers like that doesn't deserve loyalty or support. Be careful if you're thinking about buying from them.

    Faulty washing machine

    I've had a nightmare dealing with customer service after reporting a faulty washing machine to the company. Two engineers have come out but couldn't fix it because they didn't have the right part. It's been a month now and the problem still isn't sorted. The company they use for repairs is just as bad at customer service. This is now the second dodgy LG washing machine I've had in a year, which is totally unacceptable.
