I came across something really awesome on this website that I absolutely loved and I'm hoping it lives up to its online appearance! Ordering it was a bit tricky as it wouldn't go into my cart initially. But I eventually managed to sort it out, and now I'm eagerly awaiting its arrival. Hopefully, it's just as cool as it appears in the picture.
Online purchase
My experience with this online purchase has been a bit of up and down. The ordering process went well, but I won't be able to give a proper rating until I get my parcel. The pricing was reasonable for what I bought, but the real test will be when and if my order actually turns up at my door. So, until then, I can't really give a comprehensive review.
Easy ordering
I ordered something online recently, and it was really simple and straightforward. I didn't face any difficulties whatsoever, you know? The checkout process was smooth as well. It's exactly what I hope for when making online purchases - fast and hassle-free!
Expensive Shipping
I had a generally good experience, but the delivery charges seemed quite steep in comparison to other companies. It's putting me off making more orders in the future. The products themselves are decent, but the hefty shipping costs are making me think twice about buying more.
Standard shipment price
The regular delivery cost, with taxes included, really needs to come down. I reckon having discounts for customers who keep coming back would be a good idea to bring in more sales and make customers more loyal. It would really help the company keep up with the competition to think about putting these strategies in place.
Online shopping experience
My experience with the online shopping platform has been pretty good overall. The website is really easy to use, which makes it simple for me to look through all the different products they have. The ordering process was really smooth and everything went through quickly, with clear instructions at every stage. I liked that they had lots of payment options available, so I could pick the one that suited me best. Although, I do think it would be helpful to have more information about the products to help customers choose better before buying.
Four faulty lights, poor customer service
I bought four lights from this company and I have to say, I was really let down. When the lights arrived, two of them were faulty and the other two weren't even the ones I picked out. I tried to sort it out and ask for my money back, but they said my situation wasn't enough to get a refund. It seemed like they were just trying to avoid me. I couldn't even find a way to get in touch with customer service on their website, which just made the whole thing even more annoying. Honestly, this company is not to be trusted and has really bad customer service.
Shoes
Be weary, this is a foreign company with no UK site. The company advertised shoes in UK sizes and when received the items were too small and also the quality of the shoes were very poor compared to an equivalent priced shoes that can be purchased here in the UK.
When I asked to return for a full refund which they said I would be eligible to do if I was not happy with the goods, they offered partial refunds and discounts against future purchases with them. When I declined they asked me to return the shoes to China by registered post - which costs a fortune. I never agreed to this clause and it was not made known anywhere during the purchase process. Had this been made known I would never have purchased.3 tops
Ordered 3 tops marked as cotton on the website. When they arrived they were all Polyester. I can’t wear Polyester so tried to return them. They would not confirm they would pay my shipping costs which could be anything up to £40. They weren’t going to pay the total amount I’d paid (£80.27) so I could potentially only have received a refund of less than half that. I went on holiday for a week and because I was away and didn’t respond to another of their ridiculous emails within 7 days they closed the ticket. They won’t respond to me now. I’m left with 3 tops I can’t wear and I’m out of pocket £80.27. I will never order from them again.
Linen Shorts and Pant
Worst quality product I ever brought online
Spend £15 GBP on shorts and £22 on pants, extremely ... quality. Not even worth wearing once. Said linen but has 5% linen, that's it. You get such clothes on extremely cheap UK outdoor markets for £5. Don't buy from if you are looking for quality clothes.
Look at reviews, all good reviews are one from "invited" and all volunteer reviews are average or poor rating wise.A dress for a wedding
I bought a dress for a wedding,looked lovely on the model,it arrived quickly but when it came there was no label on the dress,no invoice and to behinest it looked like a reject,the buttons on a angle because it doesnt sit right on the shoulders and the back which is sewn to the bit of floral dress just tight and uneven in places just a real mess,at £38 in total i thought i would get a lovely dress i asked to return it which they offered a slight refund but to keep the dress,i said return,they said no return lable and i would have to send it back to china and pay between $10/40 , really making it hard to return,its fit for the dustbin..why on earth do i want to keep a dress that look like kids had put it together that is misshapen,very disappointed and money that i need to rebuy another dress somewhere else within 2 weeks i will never buy from here again

I ordered several T-shirts . I made sure to look at their size chart.
They have come up really small.

Poor quality product and horrendous customer service
The item was sent was too small - by at least 2-3 sizes! The quality was extremely poor - considering the price!
Once I reported the problem, they offered a 10% refund against a future purchase and asked me to post it to China at my own expense!
Then I received an email promising that it will be sorted - only to receive - after many days - exactly the same response as before, except this time they wanted me to accept a 30% discount against a future purchase if I return the item!

Will never buy again .Product arrived 3 weeks after ordering. Will not answer e mails as to the product being faulty. The only communication is for you to close your Pay-Pal complaint for them to negotiate directly. Once thats done you hear no more from them.
Christmas Shirt
Shirt arrived late and the sleeves were far to short and the fit was not good, neither the quality. Tried to return the product for a refund but was told it had to be returned to China, yes ... China, not great customer service the company is all about money and it should state that any returns need to go back to China that way I don't think anyone would use this company at all. Do yourself a favour and unsubscribe and forget you ever looked at this appalling company. Don't forget were covid started!!

I’ve tried to get a refund on a Christmas jumper I purchased from them, but even logging into my account it won’t accept my e-mail address of the refund request.
The Jumper itself is of poor quality material, far to big for the size described, it feel and look horrible on. I don't think the picture and the actual garment are the same as the picture one looks decent, hence the ordering. and the one in real life is such a disappointment. Also, their returns policy stinks, they are quite happy to take payment immediately and then you state it takes 2 to 6 weeks for a refund. Never again will I shop with them again. Also it is impossible to leave a negative review as everything gets filtered before going onto their site. I am beyond disappointedI had the same problem, paid £25 for a shirt sleeves were 10mm to short wanted a full refund ended up excepting £11.40. Returning the shirt to China was a joke no office based in the UK. Dreadful service please stay away, looks good on the website but if you need a refund be warned it does not come cheap .
Boots
AVOID!! Lousy product, horrendous returns policy!
Ordered some boots on line that looked great, the product that arrived as a poor imitation! Bad stitching and materials, plus the slouchy boots did not slouch!
I should have checked earlier but there is no genuine returns policy, you have to pay for the return to China, which is probably the value of the refund. The offer you gradually increasing %ages of money back as either credit, or vouchers. After one experience of them I would never shop with them again so I went for the final offer of 40% refund (voucher offer was 60%). They did not refund the postage.
So for an overall outlay of £56 (£45 boots and pricey postage), I got to keep the scandalously poor boots and £18 cash

Horrible service, and they insist on photos before getting on with a refund, which I cannot manage, with my phone, just now.
The shop is not UK friendly,in my opinion because the sizing is geared towards small and petite.
I'm waiting for my refund, and if they keep insisting on a photo, I'll have to go to RESOLVER.

Nice looking clothes, reasonably priced, delivered in a couple weeks. What we would expect from an overseas retailer doing mail order business in the US. Not exactly...
BUYER BEWARE, I would like to share my experience for those trying to decide of they should click "place my order", or move on. If you do order from this company, be prepared to keep whatever they throw in your mailbox, they make returns very difficult if not impossible.
Although the clothes are cute and the quality appears to be satisfactory, the sizing is NOT accurate. I ordered three tops in size "M" and only one actually fit. These items are much smaller than a typical M in the US marketplace. Tried to initiate a return and things got really frustrating. Ten days of back and forth, requesting pictures of the UPC on the packages, then lay the items out on the floor and take pictures with a ruler, then we need more pictures. Really? The items don't fit and are simply very small for their advertised size. One of the three items fit, I'm not crazy or lying to myself about what my size really is... Now I must send them back at my own expense to China - or "We understand how expensive a return can be, so we will offer you a 60% credit on a future order, or 40% of a refund to just keep the items". NO, this was not my fault, and they don't fit. What makes them think a partial refund will make me feel good about squeezing into a sausage casing of a blouse? I understand business, costs, and minimizing liabilities but lightinthebox has no true intent of standing behind what they sell. They have tried to draw out the return process to frustrate a customer until the $36 is no longer worth the trouble.
If you feel like playing the lottery for sizes, click away. If you expect a "free return" as advertised at the top of the page when you google search the company you will be disappointed.
