the site’s return page was long, I printed it out to be sure, packed and labelled it myself and had to pay postage. They suggested I keep it for half a refund but I couldn’t wear it, so I posted it back and am waiting for the credit. Customer service replied quickly when I asked and asked for the tracking number, which I sent today. All in all I’m glad one fit so well, but the returns side needs simplifying.
Sofa sceptic turned fan
the build feels better than the pictures suggested. Do I love the gamified bits? Not really. I might delete the app after a few orders unless I can switch that stuff off. Overall, pretty pleased.
Sew surprisingly good

Not what the photos promised
I wouldn’t buy these dresses again. I ordered three long dresses for summer weekends and a couple of low-key work events, thinking they’d be smart and modern — but they arrived looking like cheap nightwear, honestly. The colours and panel joins on the website looked like separate fabric pieces; in reality it’s a flimsy seersucker-type material with printed colour blocks. Feels thin and a bit plasticky, not the cotton weight I expected — so they hang wrong and look tired rather than chic. I tried one on at home to see if maybe it would pass for casual wear, but no, I felt out of place and returned it to the pile. The return process was the other problem: I was told I could send them back to an overseas warehouse but there’s no return label, and postage would cost more than the item itself — so I kept them and accepted a tiny voucher, less than a pound each. Bit rubbish. I’ll probably donate the lot; can’t face wearing them. Service wasn’t helpful on the returns and the value-for-money is poor, even if delivery was fairly quick. A shame, because the cut and idea might have worked if the materials matched the images. Wouldn’t recommend for everyday wear if you expect decent fabric or accurate photos.
Little thing, big smile
I was halfway through making my morning tea when the parcel arrived. It was smaller than I’d imagined but heavier, with a nice weight to it. The finish is smooth. It sits on my desk now, looking oddly proud between the laptop and a stack of bills. I needed a bridesmaid dress for an out-of-town wedding (sister’s wedding, big deal) and thought I’d try somewhere a bit trendier than the usual shops. Ordered a standard size on 26 July for an event on 22 August and that’s where the problems started. Despite choosing a standard size, the order somehow needed custom measurements, and every reply from them took ages — literally one email every day or so — which meant the whole thing dragged on. No phone number to sort it out quickly, just slow back-and-forth email. I tried to cancel and get a refund when it became obvious it wouldn’t arrive in time, but they said no. I even offered to pay for faster shipping but there wasn’t an expedited option, only regular US Post. The dress finally turned up 21 August, too late to press or tailor, so it was useless for the wedding. After a week of polite but useless exchanges I gave up and bought the same dress on Amazon where returns are actually straightforward. Frustrating but at least I learned to be careful next time.
Party costume
I recently purchased a party outfit from this shop, and it was really great! The Nevada Historical Society in Reno is throwing a huge 120th Anniversary bash, and I wanted to look my best. My husband also got his outfit from the same place, and he looked really stylish. There were so many choices available, it was difficult to decide on just one!
Shirts, Size guide
I really liked all the different shirts they had on the website, but I just wish they had a size guide. It would have been so useful to know if the shirts are true to size or run a bit big or small. That way, I could have made sure I ordered the right size and not have to deal with returning stuff.
Deceptive shipping timelines
I've recently bought something from this website and to be honest, it's been a bit of a nightmare. The shipping times were way off and the costs ended up being a lot more than I expected. Even though it's been 12 days since I ordered, my stuff still hasn't been sent out. Overall, it's been really annoying and disappointing. And to top it off, when I tried to speak to customer service about it, they weren't very helpful at all - just made things even more difficult.

I loved the website, it was so easy to use and I got my order really quickly! But oh dear, they sent me a 2XL instead of the 3XL I actually ordered. I'm hoping they'll get it sorted out sharpish and send me the right size. Once they do that, I'll definitely update my rating.
