I recently had cataract surgery at this clinic and I have to say, the whole thing was amazing. My optician sent me to the NHS for the surgery, but the waiting list was so long that I was worried about losing my eye sight. I've been having some problems with my eyesight lately - like things being blurry and finding it harder to bear bright light, so I got in touch with the clinic where I had my surgery. Luckily, they were able to fit me in for an appointment within a week. Despite a few little issues with getting messages across, the team there were really helpful and put my mind at ease during the appointment, answering all my questions about my eyes. I had lens replacement surgery done about 16 days ago at this place, and I have to say, I'm not that happy with the results so far. It's been a couple of days now, but my eyesight hasn't really got much better and everything still looks quite blurry, especially things in the distance. I was expecting to need glasses for close-up vision, but I didn't think my distance vision would be this blurry. The eye drops I'm using for dry eyes don't seem to be doing much, and my eyes just feel tired all the time. I have a follow-up appointment booked for June 12th, but I'm not feeling very hopeful about how things are going. Overall, I don't feel like I've got my money's worth and I really hope that my vision starts to improve soon.

My experience with laser eye surgery at this place was quite a ride. I made the decision to go ahead with the procedure about 5 weeks ago, hoping it would help me see better from a distance. However, instead of just improving my eyesight, it brought along a whole new set of problems. Yes, I can now see number plates from miles away, but I'm struggling to see my phone up close. Before the surgery, I had no trouble reading emails or checking social media on my phone. Now, even after 5 weeks, I find it hard to read notifications without squinting. It's like I traded one vision issue for another, and to be honest, I'm not sure if it was worth it. Mystery Purchase
I've been getting loads of calls and texts from this company that got hold of my mobile number without asking. They keep calling me several times a day, even as late as 9pm, which I find really annoying. I blocked one number, but then they started using a different one. I've seen other people online complaining about the same thing, calling it harassment. I'm not giving them any of my information, especially with the dodgy way they operate. Their cold calling and changing numbers when blocked is just intrusive and really needs to stop.
Laser eye appointment in town
So, I had my laser eye appointment today and it was a bit strange. When I arrived, the receptionist was quite rude to me because I forgot my prescription. She was really angry and made me wait for a long time, which wasn't great. I was then taken to a room for tests but had to wait even more without anyone keeping me informed. The optometrist, on the other hand, was really nice and explained everything to me in a helpful way. However, as I was leaving, the same rude lady returned and was upset that the optometrist had given me my prescription. She didn't need to be so mean about it, it was just a misunderstanding. I didn't even take the booklet with the prices because I felt disrespected.

I went to have my eyes tested and to buy some new glasses. The woman who assisted me was really lovely and explained everything about my vision in detail. She helped me choose some stylish glasses that give me a superhero vibe. I can see much clearer now!
