You know, I went online and bought these Blitzen cluster lights on sale. I was really looking forward to hanging them up in my garden as they looked so nice in the pictures. I recently bought a parasol and a granite base, and let me just say, it was an absolute emotional rollercoaster. The parasol itself was fantastic, no issues there at all. But let me tell you, when that 30kg granite base turned up at my doorstep, it was a shock to say the least. It honestly looked like it had been through a demolition derby before reaching my house. I had to chase them up about the delivery, and the excuses I received were about as weak as a paper parasol in a storm.
The delivery driver must have thought he was in some kind of Grand Prix with that base bouncing around in the back. I mean, seriously, could he not hear the rocks clattering around in the box? My daughter, bless her, was the one who received the delivery, and even she knew something wasn't right. The audacity of the driver to try and assure her that everything was fine inside that disaster of a box. I recently bought a big egg chair from the shop while they were having a sale. The website said that they would get in touch to sort out delivery, but after 8 days I came home to see a battered cardboard box dumped in my driveway with no warning. The way they've dealt with this delivery is really disappointing and not up to scratch.
