Train transport services
Awesome train service. Transport for Wales was very useful to me during my first visit to Wales. Most importantly, my mission involved series of movement that I had no options than to seek a reliable transport system. A sister who stays in Wales and having had better understanding of the transportation system around recommended Transport For Wales for me and it really helped in my daily itinerary at lower cost. The services were of standard - fast train movement, trained officials and fair transport fare. I recommend to others and anytime I am in Wales again, I will still use their services.
Cardiff to Manchester ticket purchase for 25 pounds
I recently bought a ticket from Cardiff to Manchester for just 25 quid. The online booking system was dead easy to use, so I quickly got my ticket without any bother. It was a smooth and hassle-free experience, and I wouldn't think twice about booking with them again in the future.
Tickets for train journey
I'm a bit confused, why all the chatter about Holly? All I really cared about was getting my train tickets, and I managed to do that without any hassle. The train arrived punctually and I reached my destination in good time, so I've got no complaints at all.
Ticket purchase
I got myself a ticket to catch a train and let me tell you, the staff over there are just incredibly friendly! Always smiling and ready to lend a hand, but goodness gracious, the trains are an absolute nightmare. They promised to bring in some brand new trains, but I reckon they must have picked them up from some dodgy website. It's a gamble every time I hop on - will I reach my destination on time or will it conk out halfway there? It's so infuriating! I really hope they sort out the trains or bring in more folks to look after them. Hate to admit it, but sometimes it seems like it's just easier to drive rather than take the train.
Train journey from Merthyr Vale
My train journey from Merthyr Vale was absolutely awful! The train was constantly jam-packed with people, like sardines in a tin, and it was never on time. I felt as though I was squished and moved around like a flock of sheep. What's more, the ticket prices were way too high for the poor service we received. TFW really needs to get their act together and improve the trains so they're more comfortable and run on time.
Over full trains
I'm really fed up with how packed the trains always are! During rush hour, there's only two carriages, so everyone ends up squashed in like sardines or they have to wait for the next overly full train. It's just not right, especially for those with prams or special requirements. This seems to happen pretty much every single day!
Train ticket purchase
In my recent experience using the trains, I have to say I was really let down. There just aren't enough carriages on the trains, and it's a big problem that they need to sort out quickly. Spending taxpayers' money on such a poor service is just not on. Being crammed in and uncomfortable during the journey is just not fair.
Commuter train tickets
I've had a really disappointing experience with Transport for Wales. They don't seem to care about passengers at all - their trains are always running late or getting cancelled, the carriages are so overcrowded it's hard to find a seat, and they're terrible at keeping us informed about delays and cancellations. I've ended up standing for the whole journey loads of times, even though I've paid for a seat. And to top it off, the toilets on the trains are often out of order, making an already uncomfortable journey even worse.
Season Ticket Purchase
Transport for Wales really takes the biscuit when it comes to incompetence. They just don't seem to care about the people they're supposed to be helping. This morning, I ended up being more than an hour late for work all because of some so-called "operational incident". It's just ridiculous that such a thing could happen if they actually bothered to plan ahead and do things right. The way they ignore common sense in favour of pointless procedures is so irritating. They really ought to call it a day and let someone else take over who can actually do the job properly.
Peak hour train travel
I just can't understand why this company keeps squeezing passengers into just two coaches during busy times for trips between big cities. It's so dangerous - people are left standing for ages, trying to stay steady as the train speeds up and slows down. Putting money ahead of safety just isn't right in the long run. The way they ignore the comfort and safety of passengers is really worrying. It's not just a minor annoyance, it's a big health and safety problem that needs fixing right away.
Train journey
I can't believe how terrible my train journey was with this company! I mean, come on, only 2 carriages on a Saturday during school holidays? It was absolutely crammed, like a tin of sardines, and they even had to leave people behind on platforms because there was no space. And as if that wasn't bad enough, they just skipped a whole station because the train was so full. It feels like they're more bothered about making money than actually getting passengers to their destinations. It's a complete joke!
Train tickets
I cannot believe how terrible the service is! The staff are so unhelpful, it's shocking. They don't seem to care about the customers at all. And don't even get me started on the prices - they're way too high for such terrible service. How can they justify raising prices when they can't even provide decent service? And to make matters worse, strikes just make everything even more chaotic. This has got to be one of the worst transportation services in the world, especially for a first-world country.
Train service review
We've been dealing with the Barmouth Bridge being closed for three years now. It's been shut for three months each time, so basically a whole year we couldn't use it. They eventually reopened it in December, but now we only get a train every two hours, and they keep cancelling them. It's so annoying, why bother having a train service if it's not reliable? This isn't some high-class country with amazing trains, even a third world country might have a better rail service! It feels like we're treated as third-class citizens or something.
Train ticket purchase
I thought the service from the company was a bit lacking in some areas. The social media team didn't seem too bothered about the delays and missed connections that were causing issues for customers. People were waiting for ages at certain stations, some even waiting up to 2 hours for the next service. The Welsh announcements were really long and sometimes cut off the English ones, which could be tough for non-Welsh speakers, especially tourists. It's good news that a new company will be coming into the market in Wales, as a bit of competition might help to improve the service quality on a few routes.
