    Package renewal

    We just upgraded our package with Virgin Media and had a really lovely chat with a friendly representative. We decided to go for the 1GB package which includes TV, home phone, and broadband, and we're really happy with the deal we got. We've been with them for more than 15 years and have no plans to leave anytime soon. Despite some health issues, we're currently pleased with the service we're getting. I reckon anyone who's not happy with Virgin Media should give them a chance to help out. Big thanks to Sasha and Julie for their top-notch customer service. Cheers!

    Recent WiFi installation

    I got the WiFi sorted out only a few weeks back, and I must say, the bloke who came to sort it out did a brilliant job. He knew his stuff, got it done quickly, and was really helpful. The WiFi signal in my house is spot on, I've not had any problems at all. Anytime I've had to get in touch with customer service, they've been quick to help me out and sort any issues I had. All in all, I'm well chuffed with the service I've had from the company.

    Recent service interruptions

    Despite having a decent and affordable internet connection, I've been having lots of outages because they're doing upgrades in my area. It's been a pain because I've been without internet for three whole days, except for a short two-hour window yesterday. It looks like everyone in my neighbourhood is dealing with this problem, and it's really annoying and disappointing for all of us.

    I had so many issues trying to get in touch with them, but luckily they sent over a guy named Dave. Dave was really great and he sorted out my internet really quickly. Big thanks to Dave for saving me from a life without memes!

    Contract cancellation issue

    I recently decided to cancel my contract with my provider because they told me they were raising the prices by a lot. I thought it would be easy to do, but it turned out to be more difficult than I thought. I spent over 10 minutes on the phone trying to explain that I wanted to cancel, only to find out later that my contract was still active. This meant I had to pay the higher price for an extra month, which was really frustrating.

    Broadband service quality

    I'm sorry to hear that since I've had the same problem with my broadband internet being down for ages. It's really annoying not knowing why it's happening or when it's going to be fixed. I live near Kingston, so the service's reliability is a big worry for me. It's disappointing how there's so little consistency and communication from the provider.

    Stream Box and Internet connectivity

    The Stream Box and Internet service from this company have been really unreliable lately, always cutting out and disconnecting. It's been a nightmare trying to work from home with all these interruptions, causing me to lose money and get really frustrated with the terrible service. The customer service hasn't been much help either, they're not understanding or sympathetic which just makes things even worse. I wish I'd never changed from my old provider, I feel really disappointed in the lack of support and communication from this company.

    Internet package purchase

    I bought an internet package from this company not long ago, and honestly, I've been pretty disappointed. I've tried so many times to let them know that I never got a pre-paid return pack to send back the equipment, but I still got charged £75. The fact that they didn't communicate with me properly or take responsibility for their mistake really shows how bad their customer service is.

    I'm really disappointed with the service provider. They told me for weeks my new service would be installed on time, but then out of nowhere they cancelled last minute, saying it was due to construction costs. Now I'm in a bit of a pickle, having to scramble to find and pay for a different service provider.

    Account transfer after family death

    I recently inherited my late mother's account and tried to transfer it into my name. Despite being quoted £160, Virgin Media didn't end up reducing the bill after many calls. I ended up switching to a different provider, but they're still trying to charge me the original amount. Their customer service was awful and they took advantage of me while I was feeling vulnerable.

    Unwanted service

    The cost of living keeps going up, and the prices for the service I use have also increased, making it really difficult for me to pay for everything. I attempted to cancel it, but they told me I couldn't do that while still owing money. This just caused more financial stress and my debt kept on growing. I even asked if they could limit my service so I couldn't use it, but they said that wasn't possible. Now, I'm stuck with this service that I don't even want and definitely can't afford, it's become a proper nightmare.

    Broadband and TiVo box contract

    I've been trying to help out my father-in-law with getting a new broadband connection and two TiVo boxes from the company for the last 6 weeks. Even though we agreed on a contract back on the 24th of May, we still haven't received the items we were promised after 12 days. Despite having multiple phone conversations and being told we would receive callbacks, nothing has happened. This has been really frustrating. The customer service has been terrible, with lots of dropped calls and promises that haven't been kept. To make matters worse, we were transferred to an engineer who said we didn't need new boxes or a hub, which just confused us even more. It's really disappointing to see such a big difference in prices between new customers and those who have been with the company for a while, especially when existing customers are paying much more for the same services.

    After numerous irritating run-ins with customer service, I've made the decision to leave. It's not really about the technology, it's more about the messed up processes and systems. They just can't seem to answer basic questions or manage simple upgrades. It all got too overwhelming to deal with.

    New Broadband Package

    My experience with the customer service at this company has been truly awful. I've been constantly lied to by different advisors, told I would get calls back from managers which never came, and have been dealing with incorrect billing for the last 10 months. It just feels like a never-ending struggle to have my complaints listened to and sorted out. And to top it off, they've been overcharging me for more than 5 months now and still haven't given back the extra money. It's so frustrating to have to spend 1-2 hours each month sorting out my bill and getting back what they owe me.
