Steer clear! Absolute scammers. My sister sent a very well packaged box of items including a marble clock and some trinket boxes to these jokers. They offered her £20, so she declined and requested they be returned as actually she'd changed her mind anyway as the sentimental value was worth more than the money. They arrived back to her today smashed to pieces! And I mean smashed! How do you smash a solid marble clock to pieces? It's almost like they were saying 'if you don't sell to us, you aren't going to sell at all'! My sister contacted them and they advised they were broken when they received them! Why offer £20 then? And why did they not contact her and tell her this or put a note in when they returned them? So they are not covered by their 'insurance'. LIES! We are taking this to WatchDog and Trading Standards. All the reviews on google are shams, paid for to sucker people in. Some of the reviews on FB are from people all over the world ... how so? Again, fake reviews. Don't risk it. Take your stuff to a vintage seller, do a car boot or sell them online. DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAMMERS!
They have responded to my review on another site. Firstly, stating their website states they don't accept 'breakables' but it states on their website they accept clocks. We sent a clock. Secondly, they advertise glass lamps on their website, yet state they don't accept glass or breakable items. Thirdly, they weren't broken on transit TO Vintage Cash 'Cowboys' otherwise why was this NOT reported to my sister. I checked online stores for best sellers of organic beauty products and got Evolve beauty. I ordered a daily renew facial cream. I got my orders within a few days. I have started using the product for a month now. I love the result. My skin looks fresh. The cream doesn't react with my body or produce a toxic smell. It is made with environmentally safe materials. Would purchase more. Great customer service I must add.

After I got wedded, I had issue with sleeping, I always complain to my spouse after waking up in the morning I always feel pains all over my body, we went to see doctor in the hospital, doctor gave me drugs and there was no changes until a day the doctor tell my husband to go and change our bed materials, not knowing that the sleeping material was the issue of all my complain, my husband come across GX pillows and he ordered for bed materials, I was surprised the way their delivery was fast and quick since when we have been using it, we have been having sound sleep and I've been telling my friends and family in offices and everywhere about GX pillows because they are wonderful .

It was great to begin with. But the t-shirts only come in black or grey, occasionally navy blue; would be much better to be able to pick your colour.
Also, £12 a month (subscription & p+p) for one t-shirt is getting silly. I'd rather go on eBay and find a funky tee for half the price.
And another thing, the quality is pretty poor, after one wear, holes are appearing on arms or stitching is coming undone.

I recommended a few websites for her to peruse and we ended up at Ultamodan. We has so much fun shopping online together for her isolation Birthday but even more fun today with her online fashion show. Everything looks perfect on her and I couldn't be happier.
I’m still waiting on my parcel to come . I’m honestly so mad . I’ve saw someone I know who have had a coat from them and got delivered that’s why I had hope but I ordered the start of March and all I’m getting is auto responses . I’m due to take this further .

I had a very bad experience with Ultamodan. It really seemed genuine. I had ordered a dress with them and there was no delivery. I waited up to four weeks and then at that point I cancelled my order and asked for my refund, they got back and cancelled my order and said refund will follow in 7 working days but to my surprise nothing arrived. I ended up calling my bank and told them my situation, luckily my bank refunded me and said that they were going to chase them and get my money back.

I was able to get a refund - If anyone needs help I'm happy to help. I have submitted a complaints to every fraud agency in the UK and they are currently investigating the matter. If anyone else would like to you can report them via Action Fraud Police UK

Electronic Baby Scales
All the baby clinics near me are closed due to covid. These scales allow me to weigh and monitor I my baby's weight from home. They're slim, easy to use and great value for money. Similar scales were up to £10 more on eBay and other sites. They were also despatched very quickly and delivered within days. Would definitely recommend seller and product.

I now use the click and collect service due to the virus. I had not needed this service prior to the virus. I just have to say that it was the best thing I have done. An excellent service but I wanted to say how lovely the young staff at these pickup points behave. They are kind and respectful, which is so nice.
If Tesco had same day and fast delivery life would be just so much easier, I have an extremely difficult schedule. Tesco's delivery is not good at the moment.

According to the Companies House website this company creased trading in January 2020
I have been advised by companies House that although Zest Beauty Ltd was dissolved in January they can still call themselves Zest Beauty as long as they don't add Ltd to the name. Next step MasterCard, police action fraud, Nottingham trading standards and the web host as it's just not right to advertise and take payment for goods that are never delivered

The customer service is poor. Extremely disappointing for a business that's selling such a great product.
Initially I put an order with the wrong zip/post code but the very same day before the order was dispatched, I asked them if they could change it to the correct one. They said yes and that it was changed. Then I find out that they didnt change it because my parcel ended up getting lost. I ask them to launch an investigation on my parcel with the courier and they said they did. But then I call the courier and the courier tells me that they haven't yet asked for an investigation. I then frustratedly email them and they submit the investigation. All until now, even though I was told the investigation would be finalized in 7 calendar days, I still haven't received any information on it. It's been almost a month now and I have not received any 4 of my posters. It's very nerve-racking to know you'll be dealing with hapless customer service should you ever need it. The posters are probably amazing, but the customer service as people have said, is very accurately underwhelming.
If I receive my poster then it makes sense to edit this review, but at this rate it literally isn't coming.Did you ever get the poster or a refund?

If you're lucky enough to actually receive something, it will be a poorly made attempt to reproduce the clothing pictured , but will look nothing like the item you think you're buying. This a hustle. Shame on Google for continuing to allow this company to advertise and rip consumers off everywhere.

Everything in this platform is great!
Started my 1st lesson with Shaw Academy and its really convenient and easy to navigate. The lecturer is very knowledgeable and provide ample explanations to the points being displayed on the screen and its easy to understand. Looking forward to taking up more courses via Shaw Academy later on
High quality content and am very much enjoying Laura's classes. Very practical material. The only thing annoying is the amount of reminders and calls which seem to be coming from everywhere. Almost tacky. But the classes turned out to be worth it so far.

I've found the Financial Trading and Investment course a very valuable introduction, and will continue with that. Slight downsides are 1) presentation is pretty rapid, 2) strong on selling long-term education plan, 3) one-click purchase feels too easy, and the information supporting the course has to be purchased.
Positives outweigh those: 1) Course content is pretty good. 2) Can review videos afterwards. 3) Rescheduling attendance is easy.Shaw Academy has been great. From the schedule of classes to reminders, they never fail to encourage you to join the class. The contents of the module were easy to understand and comprehend and the lecturer is knowledgeable. I was skeptical with learning graphic design online. However i found the class extremely informative, clear, and interesting. I was in tune the entire time. The instructor articulated concepts and details with visuals that enhanced my understanding. I am interested in furthering my knowledge of specific software that I know, but also to learn about software I have zero experience in. Shaw academy is a cool online platform. Today was my 1st class, i loved the way examples were given and the lessons were broken down but what i noticed as a challenge was the fact that the class was as though it was rushed, it didn't give enough room to reflect or make some jottings. Also, the toolkit sale popups were distracting. All the same thank you Shaw Academy for creating this learning platform.

The lecture on Project Management lesson 1 was interesting and enlightening. Regardless of the availability of a module's toolkit after payment, I think more time should have been utilized for each lesson since one hour is the actual lesson time frame. It will be best if the Shaw Academy Team is able to lecture for or close to an hour per lesson. Thanks.
Endless emails, texts, and messaging and continually pressure selling you into buying certificates, course toolkits, course extensions, more courses, and so on. Gets somewhat wearing. On the positive though, the course I have done is well structured, clear, easy to schedule and reschedule, and is a valuable learning experience.

So far I have only taken my first class and I really liked the content and the pace of the class. Looking forward to more sessions. I signed up for the free trial and wish all aspects of the class were FREE including the toolkits, etc. This would give me a full idea of what your classes are like, the free trial won't give me that experience as is and I am not sure I will continue after the trial since I won't know what the toolkits, etc. are like. Also, you send way too many text messages and call me too much. I would rethink this strategy.
While the materials appear excellent, navigation between various lessons is more than challenging. I've received two notifications that I have completed the lesson, and am unable to take the test for lesson 2 because it reports I have not completed lesson 1.

I have only completed 1 lesson so far, so it is a little early to make a final judgement but overall the course does seem to be informative, it is fast-paced and you have to choose between listening and note-taking as you do not have time for both, but to be fair, you do have an option of purchasing the toolkit which contains notes, slides, and bonus videos, for additional price, and you also do have an option to view the video for each lesson attended again at a later time if you'd like to revisit some part of the lesson or make/ review your own notes.

I did not know what to expect. I do have some back ground in IT and am self taught as far as Photoshop is concerned. I found the first part to be very informative as the history in graphic design.
The lesson structure is clear and well presented. The content is relevant and easy to follow delivered at a pace that maintains the learners interest. Would recommend.
I think the first lesson was spot on with what I need to learn to make me a viable candidate for commercial construction project Management. I am excited for the next lessons. The only negative I find is the constant emails and text messages. I have been asked to RSVP for my next lesson twice. Also, I was able to complete my quiz, but the assignment for the lesson is still locked. Not sure what that is about.

The quality, market relevance of the marketing/ digital marketing courses were higher than expected. Only issue for me was needed to reload page during first three classes, and having ' missed class' alerts, when I attended, despite having no server/ internet issues.
Very well structured & organized class. Only downside is the avalanche of email and text notifications I get reminding me that class starts tomorrow, in an hour, or has just started, or even that I'm late even though I'm on the class in time. I also get emails telling me I missed class when I didn't, which gets annoying. But good quality material

This website is really good to learn something new. The way of learning on this platform is nice. The classes and the explanation is great.
I found the taught lecture reasonably clear and good, although very short being only 30 mins (excluding the intro and 'lets go over again what we have just gone through'). I don't like the automated purchasing system. I clicked on a link, which I thought would take me to a page to explain what the e-certificate was all about and how much it was, an found that I had purchased it, without having even started the first lecture!!! I clould not get any sound on my second lecture at all and kept receving emails stating that I had missed my firdt lecture and should re-schedule, which I had not missed. Many automated responses, which I find irritating. I also did not request a telephonen call prior to the start of my lectures and do not need reminding to atend my lecture, like a ten year old, as they were in my diary. I still received no explanation as to why they thought I hadn't attended my lecture....especially as the autobot was talking to me during it!

I love taking pictures with my smartphone, but I really wanted to excel my knowledge in smartphone photography. I have attended 2 classes so far, but they are immensely informative. During the first 2 classes I attended I understood smartphone camera hardware specifications and different terminologies related to smartphone camera. I look forward to complete my course, and in future would love to enroll for a new course.
During this lockdown period, one needs to be busy in order to maintain sanity. What better way then, to stay busy by indulging in learning something new. That's what I did. And since Shawacademy has magnanimously offered a free course in photography, I jumped at it. I have attended one class so far and am keen on completing the course. There's lots to learn, and practice. My husband has a Sony DSLR (though he is an amateur photographer), I intend to use it too.

I just finished my third class in personal beauty. I have attended modeling school and have written for cosmetic/beauty websites for years, but I am a bit surprised at just how much information has been crammed into three classes! The extra materials made available are enormously helpful. I am happier than I thought I would be and greatly look forward to the rest of my classes!
Actually is a very good platform. I just have one problem with it, and it's that just to give you a reminder that you have class it fires you a bunch of notifications from the app, to the email, through SMS, and the last time I even received a phone call to remind me that I had a class which I was already in, but in the perspective of the content of the class and the platform it's really great.
Diversity of knowledge. Instructors are really genuine and kind. Good price for value of education. Truly a platform to invest in yourself for now and for the future.
I was curious about how 4 weeks classes would make a different in my career so I gave it a try. After the first class I was impressed how organise and efficient it was from content delivery, solving questions instantly using the side bar Morpheus to digital reminder. It takes no hassle to learn something I really wanted to. Definitely a great platform to upgrade yourself.
So far my experience with Shaw Academy has been very educational and fun. Interestingly enough, the discussion and the way the information is given does keep you engaged throughout the entire session. So far I am very pleased and can’t wait to see what happens next.
I have attended 3 Excel classes and Even tho in the early stages I am learning so much. I have been using excel since the 80's and surprisingly one gets set in their methods. I am looking at things now that I have skipped over for years. Cant wait to finish this course.
I am here for that mac book pro. if I had to give my honest opinion of the lessons so far. i would say they are going pretty well, i am not too sure on how i am going to apply the first lesson information yet being i have to review it a second time. but 5/5 stars from especially since your giving trial. i never put my card info out there like that but i trusted you guys and i hope i do what i can with your information and knowledge

Really enjoying the courses, Leadership &Management, Cryptocurrency and Project Management so far in progress. All the lesson recordings and materials are really helpful.
What is less enjoyable is the sheer number of emails that Shaw send - its overkill!
Email reminders ahead of the lessons are really helpful, however the commercial plug emails are really too much as are the pop ups on the portal. Less is more please!
Other than that, really enjoying learning again, its been a while since I took lecture notes etc!Its amazing
Way that you Teach Every oneI have been taking the project management course as a refresher course for myself as I am entering a job market in a new place. I was initially a bit skeptical about this course because it is not focused on my subject matter, but honestly I realized that the way it is taught is based on concepts and key words in a way which can be easily be applied in one's own field. Further, I missed a class today and I got a call, email and sms reminder to reschedule! It's honestly really nice - really feels like Shaw Academy peeps have my back :) thank you so much for this opportunity, if it was not for free I would never have been able to do this course. I highly recommend Shaw Academy's Project Management course to anyone who is interested in organizing their work and learning the ropes of how projects can be managed and the different components in their own sector!

My family has had this DSLR camera for the longest time, but no one knows how to use it, which is why I looked into taking this course. I have only had 1 class so far, but it looks like it's well organized and I'm excited to learn the more technical parts of using a camera.
I’ve just finished lesson two in Social Media Marketing and I’m really enjoying it...exciting content, great lecturer and visual aids and great real time support, and super flexible, which I need right now with all kids off school! This course is my first experience with Shaw online. They are on time, very thorough, speak in language anyone can understand and give incredible support information in the tool kit. Love them!
So far the course I am taking is going very well, the only issue I have had is that the video is not running well in Safari, apart of that everything is going well.
I am delighted with the course and program. The style of teaching is simple and easy to understand.

Classes are OK but I found them sometimes a bit boring, I get distracted very easily and sometimes I fell the course I'm taking doesn't really catch me. Also the gigantic amount of emails and messages you get becomes somewhat annoying.
It was a good introductory course for online marketing. It was a good way to acquaint myself with some basic marketing terms. However, it is a lot of material to be introduced to right off the bat. Also, I would have appreciated some advice for people on a very low (or non-existent) marketing budget.

Shaw academy is helping me learn new skills during this Covid 19 world wide pandemic. I always wanted to learn how to be a day trader and I am learning all about how to market my teaching by being in the social media classes also. They are informative and I am learning quickly. So far I am finding the lectures to be clear and informative. The only thing I wasn't happy about I felt a little mislead on pricing. I didn't realize I had to pay a monthly subscription AND for the diploma separately. This wasn't clearly conveyed in the offered I signed up through.
However, I am finding the courses to really hone in on the specific skillsets I am looking to improve. With that being said I will still continue to pay to complete the 2 courses I have already registered for. I am on the fence about purchasing additional courses, but I have only had the first lesson for both classes so far ... so it's too early for me to make that decision.

We ordered a present for my Mam for mother's day on the 27th February. Delivery was 16 working days later. My sister followed up with "customer service" and was told that the parcel was "lost"and that we would not be refunded. This is in breach of EU laws which state "A company cannot refuse a refund for an item that was never delivered to a customer that paid in full for this item, trusting the service or the organisation". Emma Smyth then proceeded to block my sister on Whatsapp and will not return any of her emails. This company clearly has no idea how to do business. Please don't put any money into this company as it will be stolen. We will be taking this further on our end. What a shame.

Seems like a lot of your items "go missing" doesn't it? We want a full refund as is laid out in EU law. The reviews on your page are completely fake, some of them are copied and pasted! As for your email claiming libel, this is a REAL review site. If you do business as terribly as this, you should expect bad reviews.

I was selling on this platform and decided to cancel as you do not get paid what you are owed. Been chasing for 3 weeks and still no money and no reply to emails. They say above that they get thousands of orders which is a lie. I sold only 2 items and there was a gap of nearly 2 weeks between them and the order number only went up about 25 so they are lucky if they hit a hundred orders a month. Scam company, will be taking the matter further to get what i am owed. No doubt they will reply to this with lies but hey ho.
