    Minimum speed plan with Gigaclear

    When my 18-month contract with Gigaclear came to an end, I found myself facing another price increase. Even though I was on the basic speed plan, the costs just kept going up. I decided to get in touch with their customer service to talk about my options, and luckily, the representative I spoke to was helpful. I managed to negotiate a £5 reduction in my monthly bill, which was a small win. Despite the fact that the prices are still quite high, I was glad to have at least made some progress in bringing them down a bit. Gigaclear has been pretty reliable overall, with no major outages, and I've consistently received the speeds they promised. However, it would be great for loyal customers like myself to be offered more competitive rates, similar to the deals they give to new customers. This seems to be a common issue across the board with service providers, doesn't it?

    Fibre broadband installation

    Having fibre broadband installed was an absolute nightmare from beginning to end. The communication was really bad, they didn't let me know about any planned outages, and the customer service was just awful. I had a chat with Dean today, and he was no help at all, just brushed me off. It's really frustrating trying to get hold of someone on the phone.

    Long-term customer, reliable service

    I've been with this provider for more than five years now, and I must say, their service has always been top-notch. Ever since they started offering broadband in our rural area, we've had hardly any issues with downtime, and the speeds have been consistently good. The other day, I was thinking about changing providers, but then I spoke to Sandesh in customer service, and honestly, their professionalism and knowledge blew me away. So, in the end, I decided to stick with them and renew my contract for another 18 months. Can't beat good service, can you?

    Gigabit broadband purchase

    I've just got this really fast broadband installed and apparently it's meant to be fantastic! Declan was the guy who came over to set it up, and he was absolutely brilliant. He explained everything clearly, took his time, and was really friendly. I'm really looking forward to getting it up and running so I can start using it!

    Fibre broadband purchase

    I just wanted to share that the customer service guy, Sandesh, was really helpful when I was getting my fibre broadband sorted. He explained all the options without being too chatty or prying, which I liked. As an older customer, I prefer dealing with people who are professional and straight to the point, and Sandesh totally nailed it. Because of him, I managed to choose the right package for me without any hassle.

    Internet purchase

    I just wanted to say that the person I spoke to, let's call them Sandy, was really helpful and nice! They tried to give me a discount even though the price was still a bit high for me. The internet is quicker now, but the cost has increased a lot in just 3 years, so that's a shame. Sandy was great though, so that's a positive!

    Contract renewal with internet provider

    I've just renewed my 18-month contract with my internet provider and wasn't too pleased to see them upping the prices again.
    I got in touch with customer services and managed to haggle them down to a lower price, which I was grateful for.
    Overall, I've had a pretty good experience with the provider - no extended outages and the speeds were as promised.
    But, I do think it's unfair that they charge loyal customers more than new ones.

    Gigabit internet installation

    The installation went smoothly and the fitters were really helpful with figuring out where to put the cables. The internet has been great - reliable and fast enough for all our devices. Only hiccup we had was with the Xbox needing a static IP for online gaming, so had to call customer service. Mia, the person I spoke to, was friendly and gave me some guidance, but it was a bit annoying we had to pay extra for the static IP when it's often included with other providers. To avoid more charges, I got an extra node for the network on eBay. So far, the routers and nodes have been working fine, no complaints!

    Trial period cost query

    I got in touch recently to ask about how much it would cost after my 6-month trial with the service provider was up. Dean helped me out and I have to admit, he was really helpful in sorting out my questions. He told me about some promotions they were running, but couldn't promise me the same price as before. This made me a bit worried because I was hoping for a steady price. But Dean reassured me that I'd get a good deal once the trial period was over.

    As my 18-month contract was about to finish, I noticed a big rise in my monthly cost. So, I got in touch with the customer loyalty team and was really happy with the help I got. The person I spoke to was friendly and understood my situation. They managed to lower my monthly cost by £10, which was great. Even though the service is still expensive, it's essential for my household as my two teenagers need fast internet speeds and lots of bandwidth. I was pleased with how the customer loyalty team member handled my request in the end.

    I had a terrible time signing up with this company. Right from the start, there were loads of issues. Trying to contact them by phone was a nightmare - it felt like they only wanted to communicate online. Every time I phoned, a message about their busy phone lines came on and I was sent to speak to their online chatbot. It was so frustrating and took up so much time. I made the mistake of getting into an 18-month contract with them, thinking it was a good deal, but the constant outages and long waiting times on the phone have made me realise I made a big mistake. I would advise you to avoid them to save yourself the trouble. Believe me, none of my neighbours will be signing up with them either.

    Speed, reliability, loyal customer

    I've been a customer for a while now and have always liked how quick and dependable the service is. The support team, especially Dean, has always been so helpful and friendly whenever I've had any problems or questions. But it's really annoying to see new customers getting much better deals than those of us who've been around for ages.     Setting up wifi for my garden cabin

    Well, I was having some trouble setting up wifi for my garden cabin. This guy named Raphael was really patient and friendly, and he took the time to explain everything to me. We had to wait a while to make sure the connection was working before moving the wifi router. He said he would call me back, and he actually did. We managed to get everything set up in the cabin. Raphael was so kind and understanding, especially since I'm 77 and not very good with computers. He even taught me how to check the internet speed on my phone without disconnecting the call. It was a really great experience!
