    The truth I have come to understand is that any company or firm that is selling fake products or offering haphazard services cannot cannot exist for a long time. That was the motivation that got me into doing business with Tap Air Portugal after reading about their profile and realizing for many decades, they've been in operation and winning several awards some which came from highly recommend recognized body. The idea of settling with them has never turned bad as I have always had my flight booking and associated services hitch-free since I started doing business with them, unlike what is obtainable with other companies. Definitely a travel agency to rely on for travel services - Tap Air Portugal.

    Flight Experience Review

    I was really impressed by how professional and security conscious the staff were. You know, in this business, customer service can often be a bit hit and miss, but it was great to see everyone being so kind and attentive. And to top it off, my flight went without a hitch, which just made the whole experience even better. I also liked how they were upfront about the prices, no hidden fees for fancy drinks or anything like that. All in all, it was a really smooth and enjoyable flight, couldn't fault it at all.

    Well, first off, I want to say that the airline actually charged me more for comfort plus, priority boarding, extra leg room, and choosing my seat. But, even though I paid extra for these perks, they ended up giving me a downgrade without even letting me know beforehand. It made me feel like they were ripping me off and not valuing me as a customer. And when I tried to talk to the airline about it, they didn't bother to reply at all, which just shows they don't care about being accountable or looking after their customers. It's just not on to take people's money for services and then not follow through with them, especially without giving any kind of heads up or explanation.

    Ticket purchase difficulties

    I recently tried to buy a ticket from the website but had a lot of problems. Firstly, the option to pay without using miles didn't work, it just kept trying to reload the page. Then, when I tried to pay with card option 1, I never got the payment notification like they said I would, so the transaction didn't go through. Finally, even when I tried to use card option 2, I couldn't change cards or make a new booking with a different card, so I was stuck using the same card that wasn't working. After several attempts, I just couldn't manage to buy a ticket successfully from the website.

    Executive ticket refund refusal

    The entire experience with trying to get a refund from TAP has been a complete nightmare! So basically, I had to cancel my Executive ticket because of a family emergency and when I asked for my money back - they refused! Then, when I tried to change my ticket instead, they wouldn't let me because they said I had already asked for a refund. Like, how does that even make sense? As a result, I've lost over £2600 for two Executive tickets and there's no way for me to get my money back. And to make things worse, when I tried to speak to a supervisor at the customer call centre, they just hung up on me. It's totally unacceptable for a supposedly respectable airline to treat their customers like this.

    Hand luggage only flight

    I just booked a flight with only hand luggage, not because of money but to save time. But every time I had to check my bag, while others kept theirs. Also, the seats weren't very comfy and when I tried to buy something, it wasn't included unless I paid more. In the end, I was let down by the whole experience and won't be using their service again.

    I booked a flight but missed it, and they went ahead and cancelled my return flight without even bothering to give me a heads-up. I had to spend the night at the airport and shell out a hefty sum for another flight. Absolutely the worst experience ever - definitely not booking with them again!

    Flight experience review

    My experience with that airline was absolutely awful. It was a total disaster from start to finish. My first flight was delayed, then my return flight got cancelled, and the next day's flight with a layover wouldn't let me board. It was problem after problem, and I’m very unhappy with the service I got. I wouldn’t recommend this airline to anyone after what I went through. Even though I paid a lot for my tickets, I haven’t got any refunds or compensation for all the issues I had. It’s really disrespectful to treat customers like that without offering any solution or explanation for the problems they faced. It’s shocking how little this airline cares about accountability and customer service.

    Cancelled flight to Lisbon

    Our flight was cancelled due to Covid in 2020. We've been trying to get a refund by calling, emailing, and sending letters, but after 4 years, we still haven't had any luck. It's been such a waste of time, I definitely wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!

    Flight from Lisbon to Fortaleza

    The flight from Lisbon to Fortaleza was really disappointing. I decided to splash out on an ECO Plus seat for some extra legroom, but it turned out that there was no difference in the legroom compared to the rest of the economy class. I felt like I wasted my money on a service that didn't live up to its promise. To make matters worse, the cabin itself was looking pretty tired and worn out, making the whole flight experience even more unpleasant. The onboard service was also not great, lacking in quality and efficiency.

    Recent flight experience

    I flew with this airline recently and it was a total nightmare. The customer service was so bad, with staff who were unhelpful and a supervisor who seemed to just make up rules as he pleased. I couldn't believe how unprofessional and rude they were. As a Portuguese citizen, I was genuinely ashamed by the whole thing. I really hope this airline goes out of business and gets a fresh start.

    My experience with this airline was absolutely dreadful. I booked a flight with a layover using the same company, but both planes ended up being delayed for quite a while. The lack of communication from the airline staff really got on my nerves, and the whole situation really spoiled my entire travel experience.

    Trouble accessing my miles account

    I'm really frustrated because I can't use my miles to buy a ticket as I can't even get into my account! I've tried calling but no one has got back to me yet. This miles programme is just not reliable at all!
