I've been getting gift cards from this place for a few weeks now and it's been brilliant every time. This morning, I had a small problem with one of the gift cards, but this guy Joe from customer support really came through and sorted it out very quickly. Really pleased with the service!
Difficult purchase experience
I spent over a day trying to get my hands on the stuff I bought, but all I got was a bit of my money back. They said I got two things, but I can't find them anywhere. It took ages and wasn't helpful at all, so I left a bad review.

The gift card section on this website is just awful compared to others out there. The time it takes to process payments is way too long, the payment methods are so old-fashioned and make you pay extra fees, and don't get me started on the KYC process for such a small transaction. Why would I want to use my CoinGate balance for quick deposits only to end up on another website? This site is a total nightmare for anyone who wants to use crypto in a simple and effective way. Do yourself a favour and try a different platform instead.
Gift card inventory issue
I had a bit of a problem with this website recently. They said they had gift cards in stock, but when I tried to order one, they couldn't find it and just kept saying they were looking into it. It's been two days now, and I'm still waiting. If you can't provide what you promised, just give me my money back instead of keeping me waiting. It's important to be open and honest when handling customers' money. This whole thing has been quite disappointing, to be honest.

Verification process
The verification process was such a waste of time, they asked for loads of information and still didn't verify me. The customer service was useless, they didn't have a clue about their own service. They say they're superstars but they couldn't even verify a real customer properly. This company is only good for people trying to scam others, not for honest customers. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I have to confess that I was mistaken in my earlier review. The customer service team got in touch with me and highlighted the error I made about the terms and conditions. They were very clear and even sent a screenshot to help explain. I had initially complained about the gift cards holding a balance, but now I have a better grasp of the situation. Despite not being required to, they decided to give me a refund and said they would pass on my feedback to the higher-ups. I really value CoinGate for their outstanding customer service and for the refund. I am sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
