Home charger installation
The process of ordering was really smooth and efficient, even with all the holiday madness going on. They managed to get the installation done pretty quickly. I was really taken aback by how well the Installation Team kept me updated throughout, especially Jack from Norwich. He was the one doing the installation and he was absolutely brilliant. Jack took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I knew exactly how to use the App and the Home Charger. I was a bit worried at first about how the charger would fit in with my old house, but it turned out to be compact and stylish. And when I tried it out for the first time, everything went without a hitch. To sum it up, I'm really happy with the service that evec provided.
Evec charger
I bought an Evec charger and had it installed really quickly. The folks at Evec were incredibly friendly when I phoned them with some questions. The charger itself is functioning perfectly and I'm really pleased with it. However, the app is a bit unreliable. It seems like it was originally designed for something else, and then they added in the charger controls at the last minute. The app focuses on setting up scenes and rooms in your home, which is a bit odd. It's frustrating that you have to select your charger every time you open the app.

Product registration issue
It's really annoying that my purchase didn't show up on the ENA database, which has made it impossible for me to finish installing it. I got in touch with ENA, but they sent me over to the Distribution Network Operator, who explained that UK Power Networks need this info, especially in Manchester where most installations happen. Even though I reached out to Evec for help, they didn't give me a solution, which has led to me leaving a disappointing one-star review. That said, I do think the product itself is great and I'm hopeful it'll be added to the database soon.
