    The breakdown assistance I got from the technician was really great. He gave me a quick call to find out what was wrong with my car and let me know he was on his way. He got to me within half an hour of me phoning in the breakdown, quickly figured out and fixed the issue with my car, and even took the time to explain what he had done.

    Faulty keys replacement

    The problem with my dodgy keys wasn't fixed right away, but later that evening, a locksmith turned up and changed them for me. The old key was stopping my car from locking properly, and the windows kept opening by themselves.     Home assist service for car that wouldn't start

    I used the home assist service the other day because my car wouldn't start, and I have to say I was really impressed. The guy turned up on time and kept me informed before he arrived. He was really polite and happy to chat about what I had already tried to get the car going. After checking everything thoroughly, he found a broken starter motor, which he fixed right away. All in all, it was a fantastic service and I am so thankful for the help he gave me.

    Tyre replacement nightmare

    I just wanted a straightforward tyre replacement, but it turned into a real nightmare. I made a complaint and submitted a claim over a week ago, but there's been no resolution yet. I've had to make several trips to the garage and spend hours on the phone for a slow puncture - it's absolutely ridiculous! It's clear that customer retention is not a priority for this company.

    Inspection service review

    I recently used an inspection service to buy a car from this company and it was an absolute disaster. I paid for extra photos and additional services, but I only got three photos and a really vague report. The report was written so badly that I ended up missing a few problems with the car, which cost me more money for repairs later on. When I asked for a refund for the poor service, the customer service was terrible. They wouldn't let me talk to a manager and were no help at all in fixing the problem. I won't ever use this service again and I'd advise others to avoid it too.

    Knowledgeable mechanic assistance

    I really appreciated how quickly the mechanic showed up at my location.     I wouldn't recommend trusting the salesperson who tries to sell you breakdown cover in person. I thought my business van was all set for breakdowns, but turns out I was given false information. When I tried complaining to the company, they just ignored me and didn't want to help. It's pretty disappointing to receive such bad customer service from a company that's supposed to be reliable.

    The breakdown recovery service I got was really disappointing. It took ages for a driver to come and help me, and I couldn't even get in touch with them easily. I was stuck on the side of the road by myself as a woman, so I had to pay a lot for a taxi home and leave my car behind. When I went back to get my car, they made me buy an expensive battery from them because it was the only choice. All in all, my experience with the breakdown recovery service was not good at all and it was really inconvenient.

    My car conked out, so I rang for some help. The chap who turned up was smashing - he managed to get my car going, but had to tow it to the garage. He talked us through what was going on and even arranged for an Uber to take us home. All in all, it was a top experience and I felt well looked after and secure.

    M25 breakdown

    I had a bit of a tough time on the M25 the other night, my car broke down while I was there all alone. It was pretty scary, but luckily the person I spoke to on the phone and the RAC mechanic, Brian, were both amazing. The person on the phone was really calming and helpful, giving me some good safety tips. And Brian was so nice, he fixed my car super quickly, it only took about 5 minutes. The app they gave me was also really handy, kept me in the loop the whole time. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for better service from the RAC Breakdown team.

    The breakdown recovery guy who came to assist me was absolutely brilliant. He was really polite, helpful, and knew exactly what he was doing. He made sure both me and himself were safe by following me to a nearby petrol station to ensure I arrived there without any issues. I really appreciated how he was aware of my diabetes, especially as I hadn't eaten for 7 hours.

    However, the process of actually getting the breakdown recovery person to me was a bit complicated because they kept sending me internet links via text messages, which was a struggle with the poor internet signal in my area. When I eventually got through to the call centre, the first person I spoke to noted my medical condition, but the second handler seemed unaware of this until I mentioned it. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive because of the professionalism and care shown by the breakdown recovery guy.
