Founded in 2012 by Timo Boldt and James Carter, Gousto is a website that suggests recipes for selection and then sends all the appropriate ingredients to the customer's house. Some of the benefits of this meal plan is that it is very healthy and time saving, as well as preventing the likelihood of food waste as the deliveries contain exact amounts for the recipes. Additionally, having these new ingredients suggested to you will make it more likely for you to try new foods and expand your culinary horizon.

When entering the website, customers are asked about the amount of food that they require, by asking how many people are to be fed, 2 or 4 to 5. Next they are asked for their post code. Once this information has been provided, the rest of the website becomes available with all the recipes that you can choose from, categorised into Most Popular, Quick & Easy, Discover, Vegetarian, Lighter and Family Friendly. Every recipe is posted along side a picture of the final product, the amount of time required to prepare the meal, and for how long it can be stored.
The available box offers are either boxes for 2 adults or for 2 adults and 2 to 3 children. With each box you have the choice of two, three or four meals, with the price per serving for every deal, as well as the price for the whole box.
Gousto offers free nationwide delivery on any day of the week between 7am and 8pm. In the case that you may not be home for the time of delivery, you can simply choose a safe place for the delivery to be left, such as with a neighbour and then can retrieve this when you get home.

Okay, before I tell how often I use this, I like to take a moment about what a great idea one come up with. there are lots of recipies on this place which is extremely great and mostly on weekend basis, you chose the recipe and all ingredients will be there at your home on a certain amount ( what you want) and along with some customization as well. the problem with getting recipes online is there is often one or two ingredients there which is sometime rare or even bit hard to get or at least you have to go extra mile for it. BUT GOUSTO makes it like magic. I have been using it like every weekend unless we are going out for dinner. something new and exicitng to try every week.
Don't bother with this company. The premise is that your order meals and the ingredients arrive on a nominated day for you to make the meals. Problems arise when the box doesn't arrive. Mine was delivered to the wrong address and the company's response was that they would refund me the cost of the box (this is actually a legal obligation under Consumer Law, where you are not obliged to pay for goods or services not received) and give me some discount on a future order (risk the same experience again?)... never mind the fact that I had no food delivered for the week ahead. Their solution was that I could reorder it and it would take another 4 days to arrive. Presumably, there is no possibility of actually trying to remedy the inconvenience but replacing the lost order within 24 hours.Chose instead to cancel my membership and return to the supermarket. Would advise you not to rely on them to provide your meals.
