    Large group booking, excellent service, delicious food

    Wow, I had such a great time recently! I originally booked a table for 6 people, but accidentally showed up with 9 (oops!). The manager was really nice and managed to fit us in, even giving us a table with a great view of the sea. The service was amazing! Our waitress, Marcia, was fantastic - she was so cheerful, helpful, and just made the whole experience even better. And don't even get me started on the food - we were all completely impressed by how delicious everything was. From the appetisers to the main courses to the desserts, everything was absolutely top-notch.

    First visit, helpful staff, OK main, pleasant atmosphere, excellent salad bar

    When I went to this restaurant for the first time, it was a pretty good experience. The staff were really friendly, nice and worked hard to make us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. The salad bar was great, with lots of fresh and yummy choices. However, I was a bit let down to see that some of the toppings had run out and weren't replaced quickly. As for my main course, it was alright - a bit soggy, but I heard they were short-staffed in the kitchen that day. The vibe in the restaurant was really nice too, which added to the whole dining experience.

    Family dining experience

    I went out for a family meal at this place not long ago, and I have to say, it was absolutely fantastic. The food was yummy and the service was outstanding. Our server, Kerr, was fantastic. He really went out of his way to make us feel at home and relaxed. It was impressive that he even remembered my son's name from our previous visit. Kerr took the time to have a chat with us, which made the whole experience feel really personal and special. I am excited to bring my other son here to enjoy the same amazing service.

    Impressed by exceptional service

    When I popped into the restaurant, I was massively impressed by the amazing service from a single waiter who was clearly holding down the fort all by himself. This guy was on top of his game, always with a smile and making sure everyone had a great experience. He even whipped up a special cream soda for me when the one on the menu wasn't quite hitting the spot. If only every member of staff was as committed as him!

    I recently popped into a restaurant in Brentwood and, to be honest, it was a bit of a letdown. I ended up sitting around for three whole hours just for a basic salad and a cup of coffee. The service was painfully slow, and to make matters worse, they got my coffee order completely wrong. The food was just about edible, but certainly not worth the high prices they were charging. Between the mediocre food and the terrible service, I left feeling really disappointed and won't be going back there anytime soon.

    Scampi and gammon meals

    I went out to eat at a restaurant the other day, and let me tell you, it was a total letdown. Me and my other half got there at 6pm and ordered some scampi and a gammon with a jacket potato. But when our food finally showed up about half an hour later, it was obvious it had been sitting around for a while. The scampi was lukewarm, the gammon meal was cold, and the chips were all sad and floppy. Even the fried eggs were dry as dust. And to make matters worse, the jacket potato was all brown inside and tasted all sour and tangy, absolutely revolting. I had to send my other half's meal back, so she had to eat on her tod while I waited for mine. Not even a peep from the manager, not even a sorry for the sad state of affairs. When the bill arrived, the waitress chucked in two free cokes like it was some big deal, which felt a bit condescending after the meal we'd had. All in all, it was a big disappointment and left us feeling very unsatisfied.

    Birthday and retirement celebration

    I had a brilliant time celebrating my birthday and retirement at the restaurant. Even though it was busy, the staff handled everything really well. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The salad bar was a great addition to the meal. They even treated me to a free birthday dish, which was a lovely surprise. I'll definitely be going back again soon.

    Breakfast at a place by the beach

    My mates and I went to this seaside spot for breakfast and it was brilliant! The service was excellent, the food was really delicious, and they even allowed my friend to make some changes to their breakfast. I highly recommend it, and the price was quite reasonable too!

    I had a really great experience with Dom's service, and let me tell you, Chef Phillip's steak was absolutely brilliant. It's honestly the best I've had in a long time. If you're after a tasty meal, I definitely suggest checking this place out.

    Order missing starter and main meal, cold main meals

    I recently visited your place and I have to say, I was quite disappointed with the lack of professionalism and courtesy at Neptune venue in Boscombe. Our order got all mixed up, missing a starter and a main meal, and everything was served at once, leaving our main meals cold. When we tried to talk to Josh Ganley, a staff member, about the issue, he just ended up arguing with us instead of apologising. His attitude was completely unacceptable - so full of himself. It seemed like he was more interested in arguing than fixing the mistakes. The poor service was made worse by the fact that it felt like the venue was understaffed, with only two staff members around. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that did not meet our expectations for a dining place. Needless to say, we won't be coming back after this experience.

    Food quality and customer service

    I went to that place recently and I have to say, I was really let down by the food. It was honestly terrible. The flavour was dull and it seemed like it had been left out for ages. When I mentioned my issues to the staff, they just gave me some basic reply about following instructions. Like, really? It was obvious they didn't care about how unhappy I was. I wouldn't recommend eating there to anyone, to be honest.

    My experience at the Harvester we went to was dreadful, to be honest. We asked for a booth or window seat but ended up being seated near the toilets, which we didn't want. Eventually, they sat us next to a noisy family with rowdy kids who were all over the place, screaming and messing about. The parents just let them, and even left the table to smoke. It was a complete mess and really ruined our meal.

    Experience at Bridgend restaurant

    When I walked into the restaurant, I noticed that the staff were just standing around, not looking very interested in helping customers. I waited patiently, but they ended up serving a family that came in after me. When I asked for a table, they made some excuse about being too busy, even though there were plenty of empty tables available. It felt like the only reason I wasn't getting seated was because I was on my own and English, while others were seated straight away.

    I usually go to this chain when I travel and stay at certain hotels, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. The only good thing about this disappointing visit was being able to book a table online.

    Overcooked chicken and dry steak

    Our experience at Harvester was really disappointing. We went to the one at The Fort in Birmingham to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends, but it turned out to be a night we'd rather forget. The food we got was a total disaster - the chicken was dry and completely overcooked, and the steak was the same. And on top of that, my friend had to keep asking for her drink, just a simple coke, because she was driving. When she finally got it, it was flat. They brought her another one, but it was just as bad. Then, after making her wait for ages, they told her the machine was broken, so she had to make do with lemonade. The lady serving us didn't seem happy at all, never smiling once. It was all just a terrible evening that left a bad taste in our mouths.

    Salad, salmon, and a drink

    Me and my nan decided to go to this place for a meal, but when we tried to sit at a table by the window, they wouldn't let us because apparently it was booked. We were pretty annoyed because we were hungry and just wanted a nice spot to eat. The manager lady even told us we had to finish in an hour, which seemed unnecessary. In the end, we had to settle for a salad and some salmon, with no time to enjoy a coffee or dessert. It was disappointing, especially since my nan hasn't been feeling well and just wanted a peaceful meal. We definitely won't be returning, that's for sure.

    How come they're asking for so much money for a J2O when you can buy loads for much less at the shops? I get that they need to make a profit, but seriously!
