HelloFresh is a food supplier. The name of the company already gives it away: they only deliver fresh products. If you are a member of HelloFresh, they will do some grocery shopping for you every week. These groceries will be enough for three to five complete meals and they deliver it to your home for free. They also include a recipe so you will know what to do with all those ingredients. Do you want to try it first? Then, you can order a trial box. Products used by HelloFresh only get through the screening if they are fresh and tasy and if the supplier is transparent about where the product comes from. Does the supplier treat the plants with respect? The recipes also have to conform to a couple of criteria. For example, HelloFresh prefers to use vegetables that are no longer generally known by just anyone. Think of the so-called forgotten vegetables that fit the season. In winter, you can expect parsnip (not everyone is happy with that) but also rutabaga, kohlrabi and kale. In summer, it will be meals featuring turnip tops, purslane and asparagus that can be found in the box. Because the products are bought directly from the supplier they mostly don’t contain any additional seasoning of flavouring. Even more healthy!

Services of HelloFresh
To make it easier for you, the recipes are easy and only cost about thirty minutes to make. Also convenient: HelloFresh has already calculated the nutritional value so you know how many calories, carbohydrates, fats and proteins you will take. This is useful if you are on a special diet or just want to keep an eye on your nutrition. Also important: to avoid waste of food, HelloFresh donates leftover products to food bank. The carbon from the boxes will be recycled and for new boxes, they use as much recycled stuff as possible. HelloFresh also has a useful app which can contain all your recipes so you have them with you always.

We have used Hello Fresh for several months, initially we had the odd ingredient missing but lately the service has been much worse. We have had more missing ingredients, several missing recipe cards and delivery has also been an issue, (the latter may be out of the control of Hello Fresh?) Delivery times are often not as stated by the delivery agent and we have several damaged cases, the worst being very wet boxes with some of the contents sodden and ingredient bags being soggy and falling apart. I do not expect to have to contact the company to address missing ingredients and/or recipe cards, they should be better than this. Having said all of the above the general quality of the food is good. Will I return to hello Fresh? Not sure yet, definitely not if the service does not improve. I will continue to discuss these issues with other Hello Fresh users to see if it gets better.
Hi ,don't know about others, but I liked this idea. I tried it for two very first day .Affordable price at door step should must be appreciated. Of course this type of services can not be continued for all the days but quality and unseasonal items made me surprised . Now, this is part of our weekend and some times on working days too. 5/ to 10 pounds for two to four is quite affordable. I liked it.
I have been using Hello Fresh for over a year now and apart from the odd times that something has been missing it's been great. Sadly since the COVID 19 pandemic I was identified as vulnerable medically. To allow for this I updated my order from three meals a week to five. Over this period of time I have come to know the delivery driver who drops off my box without fail every Monday. On the Sunday I received my normal message to say my Hello Fresh box would be delivered on Monday. Monday by around four o'clock I had not had a text or email so I thought I'd contact the delivery company. I was informed that although they had received an order for delivery they had not received the box. Next stop Hello Fresh - having spent time trying to actually call them - impossible to find phone details on the site! I spoke to someone and explained the situation. They then went off to investigate and emailed me back to say that the delivery company had misplaced my box and that it would be dispatched for Tuesday or Wednesday. Ten minutes later I received another email telling me that I would no longer be getting any delivery at all that week. I explained that I'm a vulnerable person and that I have been dependant on this weekly since the pandemic. Again I was told no nothing they could do about it - but they'd put the money they had taken from my account towards my delivery the following week. I then asked for this to be escalated - only to be told they could do nothing to help me. Again I asked for it to be escalated. At this point three different advisors sent me the exact same email saying they could do nothing to help me. I wrote a final email on Tuesday virtually begging them to think outside the box in trying to get this resolved - guess what no response! Having spent well over £2,500 over the past year with them, recommended others to them and been what I consider a loyal customer even prior to the pandemic - this is how they respond. To say I'm disgusted is an understatement - I do wonder if their CEO Dominik Richter and Thomas Griesel approve of this customer service and if they use the so called service themselves would they have encountered the same indifference that I have just been through.
