    Terrible experience claiming

    I can't believe it - I took out insurance but had to cancel my trip because my child got sick. I sent them all the evidence they requested but they still haven't done anything. I wouldn't recommend using them!

    Travel insurance claim experience

    I'm really disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism from this company during my travel insurance claim experience in Dubai. Since my initial review, things have only gotten worse. They agreed to process my claim eventually, but I've been left feeling uncertain and financially strained because they haven't been responding to my emails. Integrity and principle are important to me, and I just can't accept their behaviour.

    Backpacker insurance experience

    I recently had a bit of a let-down with the backpacker insurance offered by this company. When I was travelling abroad, I faced an issue and got in touch with their helpline for help. However, even though I answered all their questions honestly, I later discovered that my insurance was considered invalid because I didn't have a return ticket booked. They didn't mention this requirement clearly during our first phone call, which makes me doubt how genuine their offerings are. It feels like they're trying to draw you in with long term backpacker insurance, only to invalidate it over a small detail.

    What's more, the lack of transparency is worrying. It's confusing to suggest getting medical help over the phone without letting the customer know about potential coverage problems. This whole situation has left me feeling misled and unsure about the company's motives.

    In general, although the initial offer might seem attractive, the lack of clear information and support when you really need it has seriously affected my trust in this company.

    Claim experience

    I had a really bad time with this company when I had to make a claim. They sent me to another company called Global Response, who took forever to get back to me and just kept asking for the same information repeatedly. When I got in touch with Insurewithease to tell them how frustrated I was, they said they couldn't do anything to help with the claim. Dealing with both companies was an absolute nightmare and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

    Short-term travel insurance

    I bought some travel insurance for my trip not long ago. I got it just in case something went wrong. Sadly, I had to come back early because of a family emergency, so I wanted to see if I could cancel my policy and get some of my money back. But when I phoned customer service, the person I spoke to just said 'no' straight away, without even explaining why or trying to help. It was really disappointing how unhelpful and unsympathetic they were.
