    odd but I thought a packing error, so I contacted them straight away and sent photos and order info every time they asked. I even returned the second, complete pair and the empty box, following their instructions. Then they refused a refund, closed my account and effectively accused me of taking the shoes. That was the worst part — being treated like a thief when I’ve done everything they asked. Slightly surprising though, the pair I kept is actually comfortable and as described, so it's not all bad. Still, the process left me stuck with no refund and no way to appeal, since the account deactivation means I can't log in to their messaging. Very poor service.

    I wouldn't buy from them again — their returns and refunds are a mess. I've chased this for months, sent multiple follow-ups and returned a damaged item exactly as they instructed, yet no refund. They told me the package can't be located, even though the label they provided shows it's at the warehouse address their team gave me. I've checked tracking, emailed screenshots, rung customer support more times than I can remember, but replies are slow and unhelpful. I'm left disputing the charge with my bank and warning others, because waiting and doing everything they asked hasn't worked. It's frustrating and feels like poor business practice — lack of accountability. A tip for others: keep all paperwork, photos and tracking details and be ready to escalate early. I expected better; instead it's been time-consuming and disappointing.

    Halfway through the week I was mid-way through wrapping when I realised the gift hadn't turned up. I only saw the item a few weeks earlier on a mate's Instagram post and he'd said it's a decent buy, so I ordered it. At first their help centre told me on Friday that my order was in dispatch at the warehouse — that calmed me a bit, so I relaxed. Then on Tuesday a different message said it hadn't been sent and was out of stock, offering cancellation and saying payment hadn't been taken. That was odd, because I'd already been charged. After a bit of back-and-forth they eventually sorted a refund and suggested an alternative; the moment the refund appeared and a replacement parcel was scheduled, I actually breathed a proper sigh of relief. Service was messy and delivery was poor, but once they fixed it I felt satisfied enough to tell a friend — I'd recommend, but with reservations.

    I pulled these Kenzo boots out of the box on a damp Thursday in late 2022 and they felt proper solid straight away — firm leather, a bit stiff, but nicely lined and comfy once they’d broken in. I wore them a lot through the autumn and by the following winter they’d softened up exactly as you’d expect. After about thirteen months I noticed the inner lining starting to come away near the heel, so I got in touch with customer service while I was still within the EU two‑year period. At first they said they only do a one‑year warranty, which was frustrating, and I had to explain the EU rules and nudge them a couple of times. I escalated it via the European Consumer Centre and, in the end, they accepted the claim and sent a replacement pair. Bit of a faff, yes, but I’m glad it got sorted and the new boots feel the same as the originals did — solid and comfortable now they’ve had a few wears. So happy it worked out, just expect to push a little if something goes wrong.

    Nice shoes, rotten follow-up

    I actually loved the look of these Coach trainers when they arrived — felt smart straight away — but then the sole started coming away after a day, which was a proper gutting moment. I tried the phone, rang and rang, emails went nowhere, and it only kicked off when I messaged them on Twitter. They asked for photos, fine, sent them, then asked for more, and more close-ups, like I’d somehow vandalised them in 24 hours. Eventually they said they’d have to contact the brand before accepting a return — which is odd, because I bought from All Sole, not Coach. Delivery and ordering were straightforward, price wasn’t shocking, but the whole returns conversation felt like being passed around. I’ve had better and worse with other shops, so I get things happen, but this was clunky and a bit dispiriting. Honestly, if they sorted returns properly I’d give them another go — the shoes looked ace — but for now be prepared for a faff if anything’s wrong.

    'we've reported it to the manufacturer, waiting for a response.' Week after week. Their phone lines are down because of lockdown, apparently, but it feels like they're hoping I'll forget — bit of a gutting feeling when you've spent money on boots. Oddly, when I rang Barbour direct they were much more helpful and gave useful advice, which surprised me. My advice: go direct to Barbour if you can, and keep proof of purchase. I'm now talking to my bank about a chargeback as nothing decent has happened yet. Really didn't expect this hassle

    Nice boots, awful follow-up

    I chased them, had to pester on social, and eventually they told me to pay return postage (about $76 AUD) and that would be refunded. I said “can you do a label?” and was told no, that I’d be reimbursed quickly. The boots themselves wear nicely, worth the money if you only judge the product, but the admin side has been a mess — the item refund came through after a while, but not the shipping cost despite several promises that finance were on it and it was “processed”. It’s now months later and I’m still waiting. So, if you’re after the feel and style of the boot, go for it, but be warned: if anything goes wrong you might be chasing refunds for ages. Wish they’d sort returns properly or at least offer a prepaid label.

    Pay with PayPal — and don't expect much else

    pay with PayPal or treat it as a no-go. I say that because, happily, PayPal is what rescued me — otherwise I'd still be wondering where my money went. I ordered a discounted pair of trainers twice, months apart, and both orders vanished into thin air according to their website. No phone pick-up, an automated message that they "aren't answering" and an online form that feels more like shouting into the void. Chalk it up to a tiny, one-person operation or bad admin, whatever — it felt amateur and a bit chaotic.

    Wedding shoes MIA, and the clock didn't care

    don't trust their delivery if you need something for a specific date. I say that up front because everything that follows is basically me trying to explain how my wedding shoes went missing and no one seemed to be able to care enough to find them. I ordered on 16 May for a wedding at the start of July — plenty of time, or so I thought — because their website made international shipping sound perfectly straightforward.     I recently bought these really cool shoes online and they arrived super quickly!     Next day delivery

    I bought something online recently and chose the next day delivery. It turned out to be a complete disaster. At first, I got an email saying my stuff would arrive the next day, which was excellent. But then, a few hours later, I got another email saying there was a mistake with no other details. I tried getting in touch through email, messages, and even Instagram, but got no reply. It took 5 whole days before I heard from the delivery company, not even Allsole, about when my order would arrive.
