    Awful company, bought a DJ table 3 weeks back, the table was gloss & had quite a few scratches, emailed customer service took them 4 days to come back to me, was advised to send pictures which was fair enough, didn’t hear anything so I called their so called customer services over 3 times in a week every time you get diverted to their switch board which they will pass your details on & get customer service to call you back Which never happens. So I have since been on the Facebook messenger to go through the process all over again which they agreed to refund me £50 but it would take up to 7 days, since when has refund take this long but I thought given the benefit of doubt, 8 days later still no refund. Going to report them to trading standards but seriously anyone reading this review i strongly ADVISE FOR YOU BUY ELSEWHERE.

    I have placed my faith in Bax Music for years. I have bought around 3 musical instruments from here, two were guitars. Other was a DJ gear for my brother who always on world tour as DJ. but he loves stay back at our home studio where we do some stuff, all the time, trying new things.
    Not just me, I know lot of people, friends who shop from here and have had great experience overall.

    ONE MORE FAKE REVIEW FROM THIS SELLER BUYERS BE VERY CAREFUL

    I ordered an item which clearly stated it was in stock online. I received confirmation of the order, and another email confirming payment received. On the day of the delivery (for which I had paid £5.95) I received an email saying that stock was not available and it would be 7 weeks approximately till they would have stock.
    I called them up and was told that they were waiting for stock from the supplier but they had delayed it so there was no stock. Whilst that isn’t Bax’s mistake, why falsely claim you have stock on both the website and in an email, and why take money from a customer when you are still waiting on stock? Surely, any reasonable business would charge the customer once the stock was ready to be despatched. Furthermore, why notify me of no stock on the day delivery was due?! Surely they knew there was no stock coming the day before delivery was due? I now have to wait 7-10 days for a refund.
    Had I known Bax were this incompetent, I would have ordered from Amazon or Gear4music… so much for supporting small businesses!

    Source Audio SA161 Dual Expression Pedal

    I ordered an Audio Source expression pedal from BAX on Friday 14 July, with a target date for delivery of Thursday 20 July. On Monday 17 July I received separate notifications from both BAX and ParcelFrorce (courier) that the product was in the ParcelForce system – ‘Advised’. When on the 20th I saw on the ParcelForce page that the product was still ‘Advised’, I phoned BAX about my concerns. Their agent told me that the product was in Kent, would get to me and that they would consider compensation if it was late. I was so taken aback by the blasé attitude of the BAX agent that I decided to conduct further communication via email. Apart from Sunday 23 July, I have emailed BAX at least once a day – and sometimes twice - enquiring about the whereabouts of the product and when it would be delivered. I have received no response whatsoever from BAX. The ParcelForce page still says ‘Advised’ – see attachment. Before beginning this dispute, I tried to phone BAX but the phone just rang out. I am beside myself with frustration at not having any response from BAX and not knowing when, if ever, I will get the product. I have raised a dispute with PayPal which I will escalate later today. I am also going to file formal complaints with Trading Standards and Companies House.

    Mackie 212 V Class Active Speaker

    Purchased Mackie Active Speaker back in November. It Arrived a week later (which was fine) Plugged it in and linked phone to it, Unfortunately there was too much interference for my liking, so i boxed it back up and returned it. BAX received it back and signed for on 5th Dec. I gave them their so called 15 days to refund purchase period and then rang them on the 20th Dec to chase it up as i hadn't received it refund. Their reply was they were still waiting for it to be returned, (Although it was signed for on 5th Dec?) I pointed this out to them and the said they would look into it. I rang them back on the 21st Dec, they now confirm they did receive it and refund was being processed. I rang them on 29th Dec, they tell me their has been a mistake somewhere and that they will look into it. I then rang on 3rd Jan 2023!, now I'm told they will chase it up and get back to me by end of day (of which they didn't). Today 4th Jan i ring and am told they can see there is a note on file but unable to advise when my refund will actually be forth coming. I tell them i want to know right now when I'm being refunded and am told unfortunately i cant tell you that sorry!... They refuse to answer any direct question and keep palming me off. Absolutely DISGUSTING Customer service and to say I'm Tamping is an understatement. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK! (but don't expect any refunds)

    I had an overall good experience with BAX until I sent my MPC One in for repair under the 3 year warranty. An issue developed with the headphone output on my device, audio is cutting out left to right and there's loud interference noise when adjusting the volume. This has made it impossible for me to use in quite environments with headphones on because the sound keeps dropping out
    I sent the item back which all went smoothly. I was supposed to be notified when they received the item but after 3 weeks I still hadn't heard anything from BAX about the status of my repair so I emailed them. A couple of days later I got a reply saying they have thoroughly tested the item and found no similar complaints or defects, its functioning as it should with nothing wrong with it and I must now pay a consultation fee to get it back.
    Naturally I was shocked at disappointed at this because I know for a fact there is a problem with the headphone output, I've done several test with different headphones and cables and the result has been the same, its got a fault.
    I asked them twice to confirm whether they have tested the headphone jack but the only reply I got was an invoice for me to pay to send the item back.
    There is no way I would've sent my device back unless it was a genuine fault, I have emails with BAX going back to January about this issue. You can also do a search of MPC headphone problems and see for yourself other people have suffered this issue, so its deceptive or shows lack of research to suggest they have never seen any similar complaints when I can find it on the net in 2 seconds flat.
    I ended up paying the "consultation fee" which felt like a ransom, and the item was returned to me and just as I suspected the same fault remains which was gutting, It was a kick in the teeth to be without my MPC for so long and then have to pay for the displeasure of getting it back with the same fault. I feel betrayed and let down by BAX and feel like I've been treated very unfairly and feel quite used to be honest. It's terrible that I'm out of pocket over this issue which hasn't been resolved. I still have a defective product under warranty but they have refused to accept there is a fault. If I send it back again I fear they will claim to find no fault and charge me again to post it back.
    I would strongly advice that anyone looking at products from BAX to check other dealers first because if you need to make a warranty repair you might end up in the same boat as me, which means you paying out and still owning a defective product.
    Overall I'm very disappointed and upset by BAX, they've betrayed my trust

    It's 10 days now that they cannot allocate my payment on their account!!!

    I'm receiving emails that they will cancel the order within 48 hours if I don't pay. Barclays(my bank) have found their account upon payment and all the digits matched with their payment request.

    Money has left my account on16th of February. They claim that payment was not received until today(25th Feb)!

    I’ve contacted Barclays and bank has confirmed that the transfer was made and the amount was received on the other end.

    Be very careful if you decide to purchase something from them!

    Before purchase I've phoned the shop and they've answered almost immediately, confirmed that the item is in stock and send me the email with payment link. Now they don't answer my phone calls....

    I’ve stopped receiving replies from customer service, only the automatic emails are arriving asking for another payment and stating that the payment is still not received.

    Extremely dodgy practices.

    AVOID!

    but the customer service ... ... it is truly dire. process for cancellations or returns seems to be designed to be as obstructive and alienating as possible, aiming to maximise the number of former customers and the number of negative reviews.
    delivery timings and updates also very poor.
    save yourself a lot of grief, buy elsewhere.

    Ordered 2 matching speakers for my son for Xmas! Sent 1 wrong speaker, alot of hassle to get a reply! Eventually I was able to return, Sadly no refund! No replacement no reply to emails NO XMAS PRESENT FOR MY SON! Absoloutly Distressed and upsetting for both myself and my 16years old son! UNBELIEVABLE!

    So easy to order... but after that their treatment of customers is appalling. We bought a radio almost 10 months ago...and we have only managed to use it for a few weeks. It was returned for repair but came back without being looked at. We have returned it again via their courier and it’s been lost.. over a month ago..but they won’t respond or offer us a replacement. Their customer service phone line doesn’t take calls and we keep getting standard responses by email. In other words..they have closed their doors to anyone with after-sales issues. The only route is legal. I would avoid if I were you.

    I am a professional musician and I have been using music shops online since 20 years. I bought from them for the first time on March and this is my last time. The item was not working, payed for new but got the feeling it was used. They offered me to repair it. But Costumer Service is absolutely a nightmare. Not communication, not helpfull at all. And this just for saving 10 pounds from other shops. Not anymore, neither me neither my students. Evoid them.

    I am not one to normally write reviews on things like this but the service I received was shocking, it took 7 weeks for my parcel to be delivered and there was no communication, after 3/4 weeks I tried to make contact with by both email and phone but got no response at all. I work full time so needed information on when it was as going to be delivered. It wasn’t until I opened a request with PayPal that they responded and explained there had been a problem and apologised, I gave it the benefit of the doubt but it then happened again for another 3 weeks. After saying I would open another formal request with PayPal they replied to say they were going to ship it the following week and send me tracking information, the tracking information was in a foreign language and I could not understand it. I then got a text from a delivery driver telling me he was 20 minutes away with a pallet for me, he showed up and put it on the road and told me to come and get it and said he couldn’t help me to get it in the house even though I was a young girl on my own (a large piano and stool). I have recently emailed Bax to ask for their complaints procedure and the lady who replied to me says she doesn’t know what this means. Totally and utterly disappointed.
