Royal event emergency
I had a big event coming up, and the outfit I ordered from a different company didn't show up when it was supposed to. Feeling really stressed, I got in touch with Girl Meets Dress for some assistance, and I must say, I was really impressed with the service I got. The team answered the phone quickly, listened to my problem, and realised how urgent it was. They managed to send over a variety of outfits for me to pick from in just a few hours, which was amazing considering the tight deadline.
Dress rental, excellent customer service
I recently hired a dress for an event from this company, and I was really happy with the whole experience. I requested the dress in two sizes, but one size wasn't available. The customer service team got back to me quickly and gave me a few other options that were similar to what I wanted. They checked that all the dresses they recommended were right for the event, and I liked that they paid attention to the details. I felt they really made an effort to assist me in finding the ideal dress for my event. I can't praise this company highly enough for their great customer service and wide range of lovely dresses.
Excellent service, speedy delivery, perfect fit
I had such a great experience with this dress rental service. The customer service was fantastic, right from when I ordered to when the dress arrived. I really liked how they kept me informed, like when I got a WhatsApp message saying my dress was just 10 minutes away. It made me feel really valued as a customer. And the delivery was so quick! I ordered at 10 pm on Monday for an event on Wednesday, and by Tuesday afternoon, the dress was in my hands. I was really impressed by how efficient the service was, and I was so happy that the dress fitted perfectly. I will definitely use this service again in the future because of the amazing experience it gave me.
My rental experience
I was really excited to try renting dresses, the idea seemed so easy and fun. But in reality, it was a complete disaster. The dresses arrived late, and often they didn't fit properly! What's worse is they actually made me pay for return delivery, when it's meant to be free!
Great service, plenty of choice, timely delivery, sizing tips
I had a brilliant experience with the service from the team at this dress rental company. They really went all out to ensure my event was extra special, and you could tell they were totally committed. The website had loads of choices, so it was easy for me to find the perfect dress I needed. The dresses I picked arrived with plenty of time to spare, which meant I could concentrate on sorting out everything else for my event. I did have a bit of a problem with the sizing, but that was totally down to me not thinking about the dress materials properly. For non-stretchy fabrics, it's worth going up a size, but for more elastic materials, just stick to your normal size or even go a bit smaller for a better fit. I'm really looking forward to using this service again, not just because it saves space in my wardrobe but also because it's good for the environment by cutting down on waste. And let's be honest, it's nice not to keep wearing the same outfits over and over again. Love and dresses all the way!
Marchessa dress, stunning, accurate sizing, 6th form leavers ball
I rented the Marchessa dress from this service and it was absolutely stunning. The online picture was spot on, and the dress itself was really special. I wore it to my 6th form leavers ball and got loads of compliments all night. The sizing was just right too - I'm 5ft 7 and a standard size 8, and it fit perfectly. The only small problem was that it was a bit too long, so I had to wear heels to stop myself tripping over the hem.
Rental of two dresses
I rented two dresses from this company not long ago and it was a bit of a letdown, to be honest. Even though I sent the dresses back on time and they were in tip-top condition, I had a bit of bother getting a full refund. They ended up keeping the cost of one dress, even though they said I'd get a full refund if I didn't wear the dresses. Their customer service wasn't great at keeping me in the loop or sorting out the issue, which left me feeling pretty annoyed and unsatisfied with the whole situation. I won't be using their services again and I'd advise others to tread carefully if they're thinking of using them.
Last minute dress emergency
Girl Meets Dress really saved me from a fashion disaster! I had a last-minute event and realised my dress was back in the states. I was in a panic, but when I contacted them, they quickly showed me options in my size. Within 6 hours, a beautiful dress was delivered to my hotel! I not only looked amazing, but also saved a lot of money compared to buying a new dress. It was much easier and more affordable than spending hours at different stores. On top of their amazing service, they even picked up the dress from my hotel after I had left to catch my flight home. Absolutely outstanding! I was really impressed with how efficient and willing they were to help me in such a tight spot. I highly recommend Girl Meets Dress to anyone, no matter the situation. I can't thank them enough for coming through for me when I really needed it!
7 day hire dresses
The ordering process was a nightmare! I put my order in for a 7-day hire and last minute found out that 2 of the dresses I wanted weren't available. Even though the website said 7-day hires should arrive 5 days before the event, my dresses still hadn't been sent out 3 days before. When I tried to cancel because of the delay, I was slapped with a £20 cancellation fee that I hadn't been told about earlier. It seems like they sneakily hide these fees in the small print. If I hadn't asked, they probably would've charged me without thinking twice. It's definitely shady business practice.
Hire for wedding, website disorganisation
I was really excited about the idea of hiring a dress for a wedding, but my experience was not great at all. The website showed that there were two dresses for my event date, so I paid for one. Unfortunately, the next day I got an email saying that both dresses were actually not available. This is a big problem that needs to be fixed because the website seems really outdated and doesn't give accurate information to customers.

I was in a bit of a tricky situation trying to find a dress for an event while I was on holiday, but the online advisor I chatted with really came through for me. Rental dress received
Renting a dress from this company was a total letdown. I tried to get in touch with customer service via their online chat, and ended up waiting for over 2 hours. When I finally got through to someone, they were really rude and not helpful at all. It looks like the good reviews for this company are few and far between, because my experience was definitely not a good one.
Rental of 3 dresses
I rented three dresses from this service recently, but one of the dresses I paid for was not available, unfortunately. The two dresses I received weren't right for my event, so I returned them the day after. I had to chase them up several times to confirm they had been returned and to get a refund, but they only gave me part of it. Even though I returned all the items with their tags as they requested, there's now a dispute over the refund because they didn't provide the third dress I paid for. In general, I was really disappointed with the bad customer service and wouldn't recommend using this service again.
Smooth, easy, beautiful dresses, prompt refund
I bought some dresses from this company recently and I have to say, the service was fantastic. Everything went really smoothly from placing the order to getting the dresses. They came right on schedule and looked even better in real life. My daughter wore one of them and got loads of compliments. We sent back the ones we didn't wear and got a refund the very next day. I've already told all my friends about this service and can't praise it enough.
Great selection, responsive service, used for weddings
I used this service for a couple of weddings recently and I have to say, I was really impressed with the wide range of dresses they had to offer. I really like your website, you have a fantastic selection, but your customer service is seriously lacking. I was really looking forward to trying out your rental service and I chose a beautiful dress for an event. However, when I needed some help with sizing and delivery, the customer service team were not helpful at all. It felt like my questions were bothering them and I should just deal with it on my own. This was not the service I was expecting from a high-end dress rental service. And after reading other reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one who has had this problem. It's a shame because you have a great idea, but your customer service really needs to improve.
