Tools for my dad's garden
I picked up some tools for my dad's garden from Homebase and the staff there were really friendly and helpful. We ordered everything online and used the Easyfundraising app to pick it up in store, which made the whole process nice and simple. The staff didn't mind helping us locate everything we needed, which was great. Plus, we managed to raise some money for the Hollingwood Bowling Club while doing our shopping. It was a top-notch experience and I would definitely return in the future.
Garden furniture purchase
I bought some garden furniture recently and when I unpacked it, I found that the metal frames of the chairs were damaged and scratched. However, when I got in touch with customer service, they were really helpful and understanding. They sorted out a replacement for me without any extra charges, and it arrived quickly. The new furniture was in perfect condition when it arrived, so I'm very happy with the way the customer service team handled everything and fixed the problem so efficiently.
fence paint purchase
I popped down to the shop to grab some fence paint but they were running low, luckily Tony was a legend and helped us track down some extra cans. He really went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted. We ended up buying 4 tins and Sonita at the checkout was lovely, she took my details so she could give us a heads up when they restocked. The rest of the staff were all really friendly too, I felt like a valued customer. Shoutout to Homebase Wolverhampton, you guys rock!
Kitchen design consultation
I popped into the store for a kitchen design consultation and Lenka was the one who helped me out. She took the time to walk me through different options and designs for over 90 minutes, showing me all the stock units and appliances as well. Her professionalism, patience, and sense of humour made the whole experience really pleasant and stress-free. I'd definitely recommend Homebase for their top-notch customer service, especially Lenka's expertise in kitchen designs.
Damaged cupboard exchange
My time at Homebase was a bit of a mixed bag. I bought this cupboard, but when I got it home, it was damaged pretty badly. On the bright side though, the customer service from Dawn was outstanding. She sorted me out with a new cupboard and even helped me carry it to my car.
Beautiful Garden Mirrors
I'm absolutely in love with these garden mirrors - they've totally changed the whole vibe of my outdoor area. The quality is top-notch and they bring a touch of class and charm to my garden. I couldn't be happier with my buy!
Paint section visit
I popped into Homebase earlier to grab some paint and got great assistance from a member of staff. Katie was amazing, she helped us choose the right paint and even mixed up the perfect shade for us. There was a little accident with a tin of paint being dropped, but Katie dealt with it like a pro. She was really helpful, patient, and made the whole experience enjoyable. If you need paint advice, I'd definitely recommend visiting this Homebase branch!
Battery garden strimmer purchase
I recently bought a battery-powered garden strimmer from this store, and I have to say, I am really pleased with it. It was recommended to me by someone I trust, and it really lived up to expectations. The strimmer is great value for money, simple to use, and has made taking care of my garden so much easier. Disability-friendly shopping experience
The accessibility for disabled customers and the helpful staff really made our shopping experience great. Even though I have a disability and my husband has a hearing impairment, we were greeted warmly and given all the information we needed by the assistants Lesley, Kevir, and Robyn. Their assistance made our search enjoyable and successful. I would definitely recommend this store for its products and its lovely, supportive staff.
New kitchen cabinets
I have to say, the service here is absolutely fantastic! It's not like other places where they just rush you through - the staff here really listened to what I wanted and gave me some great advice. It's so nice to deal with people who actually care about what the customer needs and will do everything they can to make sure you're happy. Thanks to the amazing team at this store, my dream kitchen is finally a reality!

I've been shopping at this store in Cambridge for ages now, ever since it first opened. It's in a great spot with a load of parking available and they've got everything you need - from bathroom and kitchen displays to DIY supplies, garden bits and bobs, and top-notch plants. I always pop in to see what new stuff they've got in stock.
Refund and gas bottle exchange
I popped into the store in Basildon the other day and got some fantastic service from Sam. She was just so friendly and really knew her stuff when helping me out with my refund and exchanging my gas bottle. She made everything nice and easy, no stress at all. I'm really grateful for the top customer service I got from Sam.
Purchased a compost bin
I bought a compost bin from Homebase the other day, but when I put it together, I saw that the delivery box was all banged up, which ended up damaging the bin inside. It was frustrating to get something all broken, especially when it was a pain to return and all. I took some photos of the knackered packaging and the messed-up bin to show what happened.
Next day delivery disappointment
I paid for next day delivery but the item never arrived, so I wasted a whole day waiting at home. They didn't even offer any compensation or goodwill for the inconvenience caused.
Click and collect order
I recently placed a click and collect order at this store and I must say, I was really impressed with the service I got. The staff member greeted me warmly, fetched my order quickly, and made sure everything was right before giving it to me. I was so pleased with their great customer service that I'll definitely be using this service again in the future.
New kitchen planning
I got a new kitchen and it was absolutely brilliant! Katie was just so lovely and really helpful. She helped me work out all the details and even popped over to my place to check everything was spot on. She was super patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind about the colours. She's just amazing! And Ryan was cool as well when Katie wasn't around.
Squirrel-proof bird feeder
I popped into a shop to grab a bird feeder that would outsmart those cheeky squirrels who have been nicking all the bird feed. Michelle was super helpful in helping me pick one out, and she had a great sense of humour too. She even rang me up at the till and we had a good chuckle about those pesky squirrels. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!
Kitchen design and ordering service
I popped into Homebase because a mate suggested it, after a bit of a rubbish time with a different kitchen designer. At the Morecambe branch, a really friendly and truthful staff member helped me out. They made it super simple and cheap for me to design and order my kitchen. The service was speedy, smooth, and they were there whenever I needed help. Huge thanks to the amazing staff, especially Deb, for their fantastic service.
Tools, Excellent Service
It was absolutely chucking it down when I went to Homebase to pick up my two hefty boxes of tools. The staff didn't just plonk the boxes onto a trolley for me, they also carted them out to my car and gave me a hand loading them in, all the while getting well and truly soaked. I was well chuffed with their willingness to go the extra mile to lend me a hand in such awful weather.
