stained, slightly torn even. I called customer service, who were surprisingly helpful, and they offered 15% off and next-day delivery. I was sceptical, really. The replacement showed up missing a couple of items, so more refunds and reorders. Feel like I've been playing parcel ping-pong. The turning point came when a finally-correct delivery arrived: a clean, proper fitting shirt that actually matched the photo. I remember thinking, finally — that was worth the hassle. I first saw them online and even tipped my sister to try them, which was awkward, but she liked hers in the end. Slightly annoying journey, but it ended on a good note.
Not worth the hassle
they spread payments into tiny daily chunks so it eventually bounces two days before payday and they charge you £12. My account was even hacked once and someone ordered a laptop to Manchester. Small surprise though — one replacement item actually turned up fine, which was odd. I'm paying this down and shutting the account. Don't make my mistake.
Weathered but useful
Halfway through the third wash I realised the jacket I'd ordered wasn't as thin as it looked online. I wear it most days — school run, cycling to work, quick trips to the shop — so feel and function matter. The fabric is stiff at first but it softens after a couple of wears; seams have held up and the pockets are deep enough for keys and phone. Zips feel a bit cheap, slow, but they do their job. It surprised me how warm it is for its weight, better than I expected. Fit is generous, which I like for layering, though it does mean it looks a bit boxy on me sometimes. After machine washing at 30°C the colour stayed true and it didn't shrink, which was a relief — I left it tumbling once and it came out fine. Lining is thin but comfortable. Not brilliant, not worthless.
When the annoyance finally stopped bugging me
I first came across Jacamo because a mate recommended them, so I even nudged another friend to give them a go. The order went a bit pear-shaped — delivery company lost the parcel for days — and at first I thought, right, this is going nowhere. I’m quite dry about these things but I did want the refund. The moment I knew I could relax was when a real person at Jacamo emailed a clear confirmation of the full refund, no waffle, and then actually followed up a couple of days later to say it had gone through. Oddly, the delivery company then made an attempt and returned the items, which made the whole thing less messy than I’d feared. Not perfect, not smooth, but that final written confirmation and the prompt follow‑up was enough to change my mind. So, surprised in a small, practical way.
Delivery and refund mess
I ordered something because my back’s been playing up and I needed the replacement quickly — moving things around with a bad back isn’t fun, so I was counting on it. The website was fine, easy enough to use, but the tracking showed the wrong address after dispatch. I told customer services and was told they’d stop the delivery and put the parcel on a return. That was the plan anyway. It’s been stuck “processing at our hub” with Evri for days and days, ten days now, and nothing moves. Customer service won’t refund until the item is actually back with them, which feels like shifting the problem to the buyer. I’m sorting a chargeback because I can’t wait and I can’t afford the hassle, even though it’s not my fault. Small order but big hassle; a few decent answers early on would’ve saved a lot of time and bother.
Order finally sorted, but not without hassle
communication was patchy and I felt ignored at times. Still, the refund was correct so the main problem was resolved. Tip: double-check your details and keep a paper trail. I’d use them again only if there’s a clearer way to speak to someone, oh, and save screenshots of confirmations.
Nearly gave up, but it worked out in the end
great, wasted money, wasted time. I messaged their chat team who told me straight away it had been cancelled because the address wasn't in their system. Which sounded odd, because it's not a new place, it's on Google, it's on every map — so I was sceptical. The advisor said they'd resend it immediately. I believed them for, like, five minutes.
After no confirmation I chased again and learned the refund was already being processed and they'd need me to pay again to reorder. Which is annoying, but fair enough if that's their policy — except the first rep had promised otherwise, so that felt like being lied to. I rang customer services and, credit where it's due, the person I spoke to actually got it moving: re‑placed the order, sorted the delivery and made sure the refund was flagged. It took persistence and time on hold, yes, and I still had to pay again before the original came back, but in the end the item arrived and it's exactly what I wanted for the trip.
So, not perfect — poor communication and a confusing middle bit — but the end result was fine. I used it all weekend, got compliments, and the fabric is decent. Would I order again? Maybe, but I'll double‑check confirmation emails and probably avoid next‑day options unless it's unavoidable.Delivered well, but customer service needs help
lots of bending, not fun). The thing itself does the job, comfortable enough and exactly what I needed, so on that front I’m happy. Trouble is the whole returns/credit dance afterwards. They emailed about a £30 credit (or so they said), I used it, then later it was reversed with a new rule I’d never seen about spending £60 first. I spent ages on webchat and phoning (and yes, had to chase them), different people told me different things and I ended up being charged a mysterious admin fee for returning unused bits after the official window. Annoying, and made me feel a bit mistrustful. So, not perfect, but delivery and the product were solid — customer service just needs to get its act together (managers, if you’re reading, actually phone people back).
That first DD confusion — but glad it’s sorted
Funny start to what has become a handy setup. I signed up for a direct debit with Jacamo because I was sick of remembering dates and wanted one less thing on my list. I set it up a few days before the payment window, got the confirmation letter through the post and saw the mandate on my bank app, so I assumed everything would be fine. A couple of days after the statement date my phone buzzed with a text saying my payment was overdue — that surprised me. My immediate thought was “hang on, I set this up”, and I checked everything straight away.
Messy process but it did end up OK
being told you haven’t been charged, when clearly your bank shows holds, is not great. On top of that, a return from an earlier order didn’t get collected by Evri, so the returns side was glitchy too. Small things, but they add up when you just want to buy something without drama.
Anyway — after a few days of chasing (emails, one more call), the finance lot released the holds and the refunds came through. Not instant, but it was sorted and I could reorder the desk with the discount still valid. So yes, the process was clunky, communication could’ve been clearer, and the delivery/returns side needs work, but in the end the money was returned and the sale price was honoured. Still, I wouldn’t confidently place a rush order with them again unless I had time to babysit it.Out of stock product delay
I bought something from this company recently and although I was happy with the quality, I was a bit disappointed to find out it was out of stock. That caused a delay in getting my order, which was a bit annoying. But, I'm glad they kept me updated and eventually got the product to me.
Clothes for fuller man
I absolutely love the clothes on this website! They have a fantastic range for guys like me who need bigger sizes. The quality is really good and the prices are affordable too. I also appreciate how they frequently send out great offers through email, which helps me save more money on my purchases. However, why not a full 5-star rating, you might wonder? Well, let me tell you about their courier partner, Evri. Honestly, they are just awful when it comes to customer service. I've had numerous delivery problems and whenever I try to reach out to them, it's almost impossible to speak to an actual person. This reflects badly on the website since they've gone with Evri as their main courier provider. If these delivery issues persist, I might have to consider taking my business elsewhere.
High-quality clothing and excellent service
I've been shopping at this store for a while now, and I have to say, I'm really impressed with what they offer. The clothes I've bought are great quality and always fit just right. What's even better is that they send out my orders straight away, which is handy when I need something fast for an event or day out. Also, their clothes are tough - they hold up well after lots of washes and even when I'm doing things like gardening or working in the shed. It's pretty simple really, but I reckon other companies could learn a thing or two from them about delivering top-notch stuff and service.
High-quality products
I've just bought a few things from this shop, and I must say I was really impressed with how good they were. They arrived quickly, just like they said they would. The only small problem I had was that some products weren't available, but other than that, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out.
Jeans purchase
I got these jeans from a shop and they're really nice. I saw on the website that there was a discount available but I couldn't find the code. I ended up buying the jeans anyway but now I'm a bit annoyed about not getting the discount.
Black shirt and blazer purchase
I was really panicking because I had a funeral to attend and needed a black shirt and blazer. Luckily, I managed to find exactly what I was looking for on the website, and the truefit guide was really helpful in choosing the right sizes. The checkout process was simple and quick, and I was so relieved to see next day delivery as an option. I truly can't thank this company enough for rescuing me from a potential wardrobe disaster at such a delicate time.
Clothing
I must say, I was really let down by my recent buy from this company. The sizes were all wrong - the stuff I got was much too large despite being my usual size. It was so annoying because I had to go through the whole process of sending back half of my order. And on top of that, the prices weren't very reasonable. Sure, sometimes you might stumble upon a decent bargain, but in general, I felt like I was paying too much for what I got.
Clothing items
I've just bought some clothes and to be honest, I was really pleasantly surprised with the whole thing. I'd seen a few bad reviews before, but thought I'd give it a go. I liked how easy it was to use the website and place my order. Also, getting a discount was a nice touch. The best part was, my order turned up the very next day, even though I just went for standard delivery. I'll definitely be thinking about ordering from there again.
Delayed click and collect order
I made a purchase for a click and collect order recently, thinking it would be ready the next day as the website said. But, my order still hasn't been dispatched and three different customer service agents said they don't offer that service, even though my order details say otherwise. I'm really disappointed with the wrong information given and the lack of customer service in sorting it out.
Unlimited next day delivery disappointment
I was really looking forward to shopping at your store because of all the amazing products, especially the Ralph Lauren range. However, I've been pretty disappointed with the unlimited next day delivery service. I paid a bit extra for it, thinking I'd get my orders nice and quick, but they never seem to arrive on time. I've been waiting for my latest order for a whole week now, which is just not on when I paid for next day delivery. It's really annoying and feels like a bit of a waste of money, to be honest.
