That morning felt like a comedy of errors — I updated my new address and they sent it to my old flat from three years ago. Spent ages on customer support who kept saying it was my fault, no offer to resend, just a shrug. Had better treatment elsewhere; won’t bother again, though the item looked fine.
Nearly sold on them
I first spotted them on a mate's Instagram and bought the annual next-day option. Recently three deliveries via Evri stretched to 3–5 days; I cancelled one after a week. Last order arrived two days late and only one of seven items turned up. Customer service was slow (Evri probably on a tea break).
Late parcel, odd service
Got the stuff in the end. Not the problem. The hassle was the courier and the customer service. Reached out about missed drops a few times and kept getting irrelevant replies, or none. Jacamo really ought to stop using that courier. Oddly, the parcel wasn't damaged and one agent actually seemed to try, which was a surprise, but overall it was a faff.
Mixed bag, honestly
Walked in thinking it’d be straightforward, but these tops gave mixed signals. Fabric is soft enough and the colours are decent, yet sizes ran off even though I used their guide — one jumper was huge, another snug. I tried to book a return pick‑up with Evri and nothing turned up; customer service sounded stuck and couldn’t sort it. It’s usable if you’re lucky, but expect extra hassle.
Bit of a faff, decent outcome
try phoning if you're in a rush.
Jumper was fine, delivery wasn't
paid for next-day and it turned into a guessing game, hoped they'd show up and they didn't (twice). Spent ages tracking it, chose a local post office that doesn't even use their courier, so bit stressful. Still, jumper's decent though.
Account opened, slow replies
By the time I rang them, they'd already opened an account in my name and a mate had the same at our address. Delivery of the welcome pack wasn't the worst thing — it was the slow way they handled whole mess and the customer service that felt like passing a parcel. I told them to check real bank accounts or registered cards before approving anything. Worrying — I wouldn't rely on them.
Cancelled without warning
Not impressed — avoid them if you can. I set up an account and got a credit limit, ordered a few days later and they cancelled the order and quietly removed the limit without telling me. Customer service were pointless, just standard copy‑paste replies that go nowhere. This could affect my credit file, so I’ll be reporting it to the financial ombudsman. Had better, clearer service elsewhere, honestly a bit frustrating.
Relief in the end
I grabbed this after paying extra for quicker delivery and started using it as soon as it arrived a few days later. First impression was that it’s well made and does the job. There was a faff with the courier and a postponed collection so I complained a bit, but the team eventually sorted a delivery refund and rebooked the return. When they fixed it I felt relieved and properly chuffed.
A bit uneasy
wait until weekday or ask someone who's used them.
Finally fit, despite the faff
smart enough for client meetings, comfy for the commute, actually. That little click of relief is why I’m not writing a full rant. Still annoyed about the lack of updates and the wasted voucher, but the product itself does what I wanted, so overall mixed but leaning positive.
Saw it on Instagram, bit of a faff
I spotted this brand on Instagram after a mate pointed it out and ordered for a holiday. Delivery was promised before the 15th August. It didn't arrive. Then more waiting. Calls to customer service were awkward. The woman I spoke to sounded brusque and there was noise in the background. It felt unprofessional. Eventually I managed to get a refund and close the account, which I'm actually relieved about. Bit of a faff. The refund took ages.
Three failed orders this week
So I tried to order three times this week, using the website's address lookup to send stuff to my workplace — figured that way someone would be around. Initial checkout looked fine and simple. But each time it stalled at the delivery stage with an automated "can't find address" message from Royal Mail. Bit odd because Royal Mail presumably use Evri for drops and I work at the address, so it's not made up. Feels like a clumsy automation problem rather than a human mistake. Not completely unusable, a real pain when you're trying to sort deliveries.
Changed my mind, pleasantly surprised
I'm actually really pleased — in the end they sorted everything out and I got what I needed. I first saw the site after a mate sent me a link (and I was a bit sceptical), but because I needed clothes for the next day I went ahead. Delivery had a wobble at first; it was marked as out for delivery then delayed, and the call centre wasn't brilliant (bit hard to understand on the phone). I rang back, they apologised and reopened the case, eventually refunding the extra postage and arranging a quicker re-send. Took a bit longer than ideal, but customer service did make it right, so I'm happy and would recommend — thanks for fixing it.
Parcel ping-pong payoff
stained, slightly torn even. I called customer service, who were surprisingly helpful, and they offered 15% off and next-day delivery. I was sceptical, really. The replacement showed up missing a couple of items, so more refunds and reorders. Feel like I've been playing parcel ping-pong. The turning point came when a finally-correct delivery arrived: a clean, proper fitting shirt that actually matched the photo. I remember thinking, finally — that was worth the hassle. I first saw them online and even tipped my sister to try them, which was awkward, but she liked hers in the end. Slightly annoying journey, but it ended on a good note.
Not worth the hassle
they spread payments into tiny daily chunks so it eventually bounces two days before payday and they charge you £12. My account was even hacked once and someone ordered a laptop to Manchester. Small surprise though — one replacement item actually turned up fine, which was odd. I'm paying this down and shutting the account. Don't make my mistake.
Weathered but useful
Halfway through the third wash I realised the jacket I'd ordered wasn't as thin as it looked online. I wear it most days — school run, cycling to work, quick trips to the shop — so feel and function matter. The fabric is stiff at first but it softens after a couple of wears; seams have held up and the pockets are deep enough for keys and phone. Zips feel a bit cheap, slow, but they do their job. It surprised me how warm it is for its weight, better than I expected. Fit is generous, which I like for layering, though it does mean it looks a bit boxy on me sometimes. After machine washing at 30°C the colour stayed true and it didn't shrink, which was a relief — I left it tumbling once and it came out fine. Lining is thin but comfortable. Not brilliant, not worthless.
When the annoyance finally stopped bugging me
I first came across Jacamo because a mate recommended them, so I even nudged another friend to give them a go. The order went a bit pear-shaped — delivery company lost the parcel for days — and at first I thought, right, this is going nowhere. I’m quite dry about these things but I did want the refund. The moment I knew I could relax was when a real person at Jacamo emailed a clear confirmation of the full refund, no waffle, and then actually followed up a couple of days later to say it had gone through. Oddly, the delivery company then made an attempt and returned the items, which made the whole thing less messy than I’d feared. Not perfect, not smooth, but that final written confirmation and the prompt follow‑up was enough to change my mind. So, surprised in a small, practical way.
Delivery and refund mess
I ordered something because my back’s been playing up and I needed the replacement quickly — moving things around with a bad back isn’t fun, so I was counting on it. The website was fine, easy enough to use, but the tracking showed the wrong address after dispatch. I told customer services and was told they’d stop the delivery and put the parcel on a return. That was the plan anyway. It’s been stuck “processing at our hub” with Evri for days and days, ten days now, and nothing moves. Customer service won’t refund until the item is actually back with them, which feels like shifting the problem to the buyer. I’m sorting a chargeback because I can’t wait and I can’t afford the hassle, even though it’s not my fault. Small order but big hassle; a few decent answers early on would’ve saved a lot of time and bother.
Order finally sorted, but not without hassle
communication was patchy and I felt ignored at times. Still, the refund was correct so the main problem was resolved. Tip: double-check your details and keep a paper trail. I’d use them again only if there’s a clearer way to speak to someone, oh, and save screenshots of confirmations.
