Lawn mower
As a customer of Mowers Online, I have to say I was really disappointed with my experience. When I had a problem with my purchase, the customer service was not helpful at all. The manager seemed to think they were better than everyone else and didn't even follow consumer laws when trying to sort things out. It was really frustrating and took up a lot of my time, dealing with people who didn't seem to know what they were doing and didn't want to help. I would definitely recommend that anyone looking for gardening supplies should try somewhere else.
Lawnmower purchase
I bought a lawnmower online recently and I thought it was quite good. I ordered it over the Easter weekend and got a dispatch note on the following Tuesday. However, I was a bit worried because the note didn't have any tracking details, so I wasn't sure where my delivery was at. I waited until Friday, then decided to contact the company to ask when it might arrive, but they couldn't give me a specific time. This lack of communication made me feel a bit uneasy, but luckily, the lawnmower showed up on Saturday morning just in time for me to sort out my untidy lawn.
Local purchase
I purchased something from a local shop near where I live. Recently, they have been terrible at answering calls and getting things fixed. I'm not sure if I'll buy from them again.
Lawnmower purchased
I bought a lawnmower from this company not long ago and it arrived on time. But when I opened the box, I discovered that two parts were missing. One of the missing bits wasn't a big deal as I managed to fix it myself. However, not having a mulch plug was a pretty big oversight by the packaging team.
Sit-on Mower Purchase
I can't believe the awful time I had with this company. I gave them a ring to ask about a sit-on mower for my garden, which has a small slope, and they suggested a specific model that turned out to be totally wrong for what I needed. It kept conking out on the slope, even when I wasn't using the cutter, and I had to get my mates to help me push it out of the garden. When I requested a refund, they accused me of wrecking the mower and insisted that I pay 3/4 of the full price. The manager, Steve, was incredibly rude and unhelpful the whole time. It's been 9 months now and my grass still looks terrible because of this whole nightmare.
Trimmer line
Do not order from these conartists, they lie, in stock doesn't mean that you will receive it. I contacted them after 9 days and was told my order hadn't been processed correctly, so it hadn't been sent and wouldn't be for a couple of days. I requested a refund and told them I had ordered elsewhere. Emma told me no problem and they were sorry a refund was being processed. My goods arrived cheaper and the next day (thanks Amazon) and then low and behold 5 days later they had sent my order and it arrived. They may think they have beaten me and have got one over on me as I have run out of energy to try again to return and refund, however I am going to make sure I cost them much more than they got from me.
Please don't buy, these people don't deserve another sale ever. They lie and god knows where my credit card details went on the orders that had got sent to their IT company, I've had to change my card and go through everything.Cobra MX515SPBI lawn mower
