Wet shoes
I purchased some waterproof shoes that actually ended up not being very waterproof at all. I returned them to the shop, but unfortunately, they still haven't been fixed and it feels like it's taking ages. I've even called them three times, but they seem to have no idea what's happening with my shoes. Now I have to buy new shoes for my walking trip, which is so frustrating. I used to be a fan of this store, but after this experience, I don't think I'll ever be returning.
Scarpa Spin ST fell shoes purchase
I bought a pair of fell shoes from your store not long ago and I have to say, I am really happy with my experience. Even though I had seen some bad reviews before, I thought the service was brilliant. The shoes arrived quickly and they are top quality, just what I need for all my outdoor fun.
Ski jacket
I got myself this awesome ski jacket recently, and I must admit I was a bit apprehensive at first because of some negative reviews I read online. But hey, the jacket arrived right on schedule and was in mint condition! It's unbelievably warm and snug, exactly what I needed for my skiing getaway. I'm really chuffed that I went for it and placed an order from here, totally worth it!
Quick delivery and great price
My time at Nevisport was really good, even though I'd seen some bad reviews online. I ordered some gear and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it arrived and the great price I got it for. The customer service was excellent, the staff were friendly and really knew their stuff about the products. The gear itself was top quality, so I'd definitely shop there again.
Two pairs of boots
I went to the Lincoln store for the first time and I was really impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff were. They knew exactly what I needed and helped me choose the perfect pair of boots. The whole shopping experience was really enjoyable thanks to them. In the end, I bought two pairs of boots because their service was excellent.
Hiking boots
My experience with Nevisport got off to a bit of a bumpy start because there was a long delay in communication about a return issue. But, I must say they have really impressed me by quickly solving the problem as soon as they got the boots back. Grace from customer service was really on it - she was proactive, gave me all the info I needed, and offered excellent service by sorting out a refund fast and talking through some other options. I especially liked that personal touch of getting a phone call instead of just an email. Hopefully, they can keep up this great level of service in the future.
Purchased a jacket
What a complete joke of a company! I ordered a jacket more than a week ago and got an email saying it was all set to be shipped with DHL. Can you believe it? DHL couldn't even find a record of it. I've been trying to ring them up and send them emails, but nothing back from them at all. My advice would be to steer clear of ordering anything from them online unless you fancy being ignored and left feeling frustrated.
Merrell walking shoes
I wouldn't believe the hype - these walking shoes just weren't good enough. I bought them online and was really disappointed with the quality. They were uncomfortable and fell apart after only a few uses. I definitely won't be shopping from there again.
Trail running/hiking shoes
I just bought a pair of trail running/hiking shoes from Nevisport and I'm really happy with them. I got them on Monday 8th January and they came quickly on Thursday 11th January. The shoes were exactly what I expected and at the best price I found, even with postage. Despite some bad reviews, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Nevisport to others.
Lost order, missing delivery
I'm absolutely fuming with this company. I ordered something and it got sent to the wrong place by DHL - how does that even happen?! I've been trying to contact their customer service for three days now, but no one picks up the phone. It feels like they're not even real! It's so frustrating that they can't help with such a serious problem. I have no clue where my parcel is, how to get it back from the wrong address, or how to get my money back. It's a complete joke and I won't be spending any more money with them. It's just not on!
Winter jacket with security tag still on
I recently bought a winter jacket from the store, but when it arrived, the security tag was still on. This means I can't wear it or give it as a gift like I planned to. I've emailed customer service three times and tried calling and asking for callbacks, but I haven't had any help. I spent a lot of money on this jacket and I'm really let down by the customer service team not getting back to me.
Winter jacket
As a customer at Nevisport, I recently bought a winter jacket and I have to say, it wasn't a great experience. The ordering part was easy enough, but the delivery took much longer than they said it would. I placed my order on 29th January and they said it should arrive in 3 to 7 days. However, even after waiting for several days, my order was still being processed. I even sent them an email on 1st February to ask about my jacket, but never got a reply. It feels like they have only one person doing everything, which is causing delays and bad customer service. They took my money already, but my jacket wasn't even on its way. The lack of communication and honesty was really disappointing.
La Sportiva Boulder X shoes
I've had some great buys from Nevisport before, but my last purchase was a letdown. I got a pair of La Sportiva Boulder X shoes just before Christmas, and they fell apart after just a few walks. I tried to get in touch with Nevisport to sort out a return and get a new pair, but no luck. I called them about 20 times and sent a bunch of emails, but no response. It's really frustrating and disappointing that they don't seem to care about customer service. It's a shame, considering how good they used to be. I won't be using them again in the future.
Ski pants purchase
As a big skiing fan, it's so important for me to have the right gear. I recently bought some top-quality ski pants from the store and honestly, I am so impressed with how it all went. It was so easy, from checking out their website to getting my order super quickly. The pants are even better than I expected and the price was really good too. I reckon anyone who loves the outdoors should check out Nevisport for top gear and service.
Recent faulty purchase
I recently bought a pair of walking trousers from this retailer and unfortunately, they turned out to be faulty when they arrived. I've been trying to get in touch with them over the past week, both by phone and email, but so far, I've had no luck. Whenever I call, the phone just keeps ringing endlessly before cutting off, and it's as if my emails have disappeared into thin air. This lack of communication has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed with the level of customer service they've offered. While I understand that they can't control receiving a faulty product, it's unacceptable to have no support or help from their side. That's why I've now had to contact my credit card company to get a chargeback and sort this mess out. It's a real shame that what could've been a simple fix has turned into a long and complicated situation because of the company's negligence.
Late delivery of birthday present
I am really disappointed with the service I got from this company. I ordered something on the 29th of January and after waiting for 5 working days with no updates on when it will be sent out, I decided to email customer services to ask what was going on. But all I got back was an automated reply with a link to track my order, which just showed it was still being prepared. As a last resort, I tried calling customer services on the 2nd of February, but no one answered the phone, it just kept ringing. This is not good enough and now I'm feeling frustrated and disappointed. I should have checked the reviews before placing my order.
Luggage bag
Although the retailer offers a good selection of products, I have been really let down by their aftercare service. I bought a sports luggage bag and when I had a problem, I contacted customer service for help. Sadly, I haven't had any reply to my messages, despite emailing them several times. All I've had is an automated response saying they'll get back to me, but nothing has happened. This lack of communication and not taking care of customer queries has left me feeling annoyed and unsatisfied with my shopping experience. Also, I keep getting loads of promotional emails from them, which just makes me even more disappointed. I'd advise others to be cautious when buying from this retailer, as the lack of aftercare support is a big issue.
Free delivery
I ordered this item with free delivery and it arrived really fast, just as they promised. It was the most affordable option available and it worked perfectly for me, even though some people had negative things to say about it. However, I am satisfied with my purchase, no complaints whatsoever.
Ski jacket and gloves
The ski jacket and gloves I got from the shop in Exeter were brilliant! The folks, Leanne and Paul, were dead friendly and didn't push me to buy things I didn't want. They knew loads about the gear and were always keen to assist with a smile. The shop was a bit untidy, but I reckon that's because they have loads of great stuff for sale. All in all, shopping at Nevisport was a proper good time and I'll definitely be returning!
Winter hiking boots
I bought a pair of winter hiking boots from an outdoor shop recently, and I was very impressed with the customer service I got. The staff in the Fort William store really knew their stuff when it came to the products they sell, and they helped me find the ideal boots for what I needed. They not only gave me great advice on size and features, but also made sure I was happy with my purchase.
