On a positive I really like the design of the silver bracelet that I purchased in the last few days as a 50th Birthday present for my goddaughter. Keeping with the positive delivery was within 3 days of ordering. Marvellous. However, this small bracelet came in a relatively large strong cardboard box which seemed out of place for a supposedly ethical company. Inside was another box about the size of a large mug with an Oliver Bonas sleeve and inside that was lots of shredded cardboard with the bracelet in a plastic wallet. I had ordered and paid for a gift box but there wasn't one. I rang the company , reminding myself that it isn't the fault of whoever answers the phone but I am afraid that I was cross with the young woman who dealt with me who told me that the box in the box was the gift box. Basically made of strong almost impenetrable cardboard and that the coloured sleeve went with it. £5 for that which was unusable and a slip of paper with a short personalised message. When I pointed out that it was completely wrong for such a small bracelet she offered the explanation that the company had probably run out of the gift box size that I wanted and sent that one instead. To her credit she sanctioned a £5 refund . What really got me was her dismissive approach. Why do these companies train up their telephone operatives to sound like someone straight out of Harrods? It would be so much nicer to deal with someone with an element of understanding. The bracelet is for someone's 50th Birthday. No wonder that I wanted it to be good.

My first order of 180 pounds was made in 2014 received late ,and my first impression towards delivery part was not good that time and I raised my concern. Friends, that was first and last complain. Since then no issue after four years. Nice apparel , jewellery and glassware what mostly I used to buy for self and gifts .
Services are really very good.

Around a week later Hermes message me that my order is on its way and they will deliver it in a few days. After I chased them up, I realised that I put my old postcode on the delivery address. I called Hermes and they said I have to call Oliver Bona's customer service and asked them to change the address and request the delivery again!
I called Oliver Bona's customer service and explain the issue, they said they will call Hermes and will call me back to confirm it again.
She called me in a few minutes and confirmed that she asks Hermes to change the postcode and hopefully I will receive my package soon.
After a few days, again I called them to chase it up and customer service said they don't have any record of it! I asked them to call Hermes and chase it up and the lady who's answering the phone said she changed the postcode and again she said hopefully I will receive it soon!!!
After 2 weeks I called Hermes and they said they don't have any record of that changing post code request! I called Oliver Bonas customer service again and luckily the same person from my first call answered the phone and she was surprised that I haven’t received my order yet. She called Hermes and called me back and again confirmed that they have the note and I have to wait for Hermes to return the package to Oliver Bonas and they will send it again!! She returns £3 delivery charge that day into my account.
Long story short, on the 13th of January! I received another email which said Thanks for your order, you will receive it shortly and guess what! with the same wrong postcode!!!!!
I emailed them again and complained about it and after 3 days they send me an email and said they don't have any note of changing the postcode and I have to wait again until Hermes send it back to OB and then they can change the address!
Also, they gave me another option: refund it!
Unbelievable customer service! They don't care about their job, their customer and the company!
I won't order anything from you guys anymore as you are the most unreliable company I've ever seen!!!!!
