Sat on the sofa realising I'd clicked buy by accident — I actually wanted a lumbar support for a nagging back, never even opened the box. It seemed like it would've felt snug and useful, but cancelling was a nightmare; endless holding, stonewalling, wasted afternoon. Bit annoyed, a complaint will follow — don't expect a smooth return and it's just daft.
Cautious pick, paid off
I wasn't sure at first. Found them via Amazon, then saw their own site and hesitated because of mixed experiences with small retailers — some drop the ball or add hidden costs. I went ahead anyway because the price looked fair. The single delivery charge was a relief. Package arrived quite fast and tracking was clear. Quality matched the photos. My sister liked what I bought and is ordering too. Pleased it all worked out, really glad.
Thought it'd be fine, wasn't.
I was a bit iffy about ordering — always wary of online towel buys — but thought sod it and clicked. Planned to use the navy towels last weekend for guests, but the parcel never turned up. Yodel said they didn’t have the right address, I gave it again, nothing changed. Bit of a faff, but PayPal sorted a refund eventually so I'm relieved, if still annoyed by the whole delivery mess.
Nearly there, then not
nice weight, cosy fabric, held up well and I kept using them. I emailed with all the details, asked for a refund, then radio silence. I'm still hopeful they'll reply — I liked them before, so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt — but it's worrying when you need stuff on time.
Saved myself at the last minute
Won't be ordering from here again — lucky I grabbed replacements. I first saw them on Facebook after a mate tagged me, and having used them before I thought it'd be fine. I ordered on 6 December and nearly two weeks on it still hasn't been dispatched. Emails and private messages get ignored, they only seem to reply in public comments. My son's presents won't arrive and I'm £45 down. Annoying, but glad I wasn't caught out.
Half good, half a headache
one felt fine, the other was really cheap-looking and floppy, not what I expected. I sent the dodgy one back and asked for a refund, which should have been straightforward, but turned into a faff. They asked for proof of delivery — which I couldn't find at first (silly me, papers everywhere) — so they wouldn't do the refund. Eventually I dug out a tracking email, sent it over and they said they'd refund and even confirmed by email. Cue more waiting though, and the money didn't appear. I chased them a couple of times, had to nudge again after a slow reply and that was stressful. Parts of the process felt unprofessional, which is disappointing because the cushion itself (the good one) is fine. Not sure I'd order again.
The refund was the turning point
the bank’s customer service was unexpectedly efficient, which was a relief. So, lesson learned: trust the evidence, not the canned assurances. I’d have preferred a quick replacement, obviously, but the refund cleared it up in the end. Sharing this so others can spot the signs and save themselves the follow-up emails and vague promises.
Missing item issue
Delivery was quick, but there was a missing item. I have to say, the customer service was top-notch. Claudio helped me out and got everything sorted straight away. The missing item turned up the very next day without any fuss. The quality of the items was good and the prices were fair.
Mattress purchase

Duvet cover purchase
When my duvet cover arrived, it had a dirty mark on it. I got in touch with customer service, and they sorted it out really quickly. A guy named Liam helped me out a lot and sent me a new duvet cover straight away. The replacement they sent was actually a bottom sheet by mistake! But Liam fixed it fast by getting me another duvet cover and even let me keep the bottom sheet as a goodwill gesture. I have to say, the customer service from this online shop is amazing and Liam was great to deal with. It's a shame that Yodel messed up by leaving the parcel in our communal foyer instead of delivering it properly. Not the best delivery experience, but the customer service team did a top job. I will definitely shop here again because of the excellent service I got.
Bedding, curtains, throws
I absolutely loved the bedding and curtains I got from this online store. They were exactly what I wanted and even better than I expected. The throws, on the other hand, weren't really my cup of tea, but that's just down to personal taste. Buying was quick and simple, and the delivery was super fast. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this online home shop for their top-notch products and excellent service.
Missing item and resolution
I've had an issue with a missing item in my order, and I was a bit worried about how it would be sorted out. Heated throw purchase
I bought a heated throw online from this store in January. It was great for a few months but then it just stopped working. I got in touch with the customer service team in Elland to let them know, and I have to say, they were really helpful and quick to respond. The person I spoke to was really nice and did everything they could to help me out. They sorted out the whole thing smoothly and fixed the issue without any hassle. Furniture Set
I bought some furniture from an online home shop not long ago and I have to say, the delivery was a complete nightmare. They decided to use Yodel as their courier, which is pretty much another way of saying awful service. Nobody bothered to keep track of the delivery or get in touch with Yodel to find out where my order was. I had to be the one constantly chasing them up and even then, it seemed like nobody really cared. It goes without saying that I won't be giving them any more of my business in the future.
Funky throw pillows
I made a bit of a mistake and ended up ordering the wrong pillows from Online Home Shop. However, the good news is that their customer service team was really helpful and sorted out my return for me. I received a full refund and now I'm just waiting for the money to be credited back into my account. Huge thanks to Elland for being amazing, and to Simon and Tom for their assistance as well.
