Most expensive set of flowers and supreme choloate
I have ordered the most expensive set of lilies and rose to celebrate coming Sunday (International Mother Day) with a surpreme package of chocolate. The flowers were delivered earlier today but to our disappointment, the flowers are NOT fresh enough and the edge of all large rose flowers faded already with small roses withered and little hope to blossom. All the lilies are just budding stage (totally different from the picture they advertise in their web site and the size of bundle of flowers are smaller too. I have requested either an exchange tmr or refund but in vain. The only reply kept from their customer team is just repeatedly stating their products are up to standard and refused any exchange or refund... Just ask me to wait for 5 more days..... Will 5 more days be able to make the faded and withered flowers blossom again!?
This is one of the worst experience I have in placing flowers with poor response.Received as birthday gift
Massive box, awful bunch of flowers with card saying take of discoloured petals on roses if l did this then l would be left with stems. The sender would of been better if buying a bunch from Tesco putting them in a box and sending them. To me. They wouldn’t of looked any worse than what l received
Golden Wedding flowers
Hubby ordered flowers £50+ for our golden wedding anniversary..when they had not arrived by 5pm he told me about the order and emailed serenata. Flowers arrived at 6pm..we were so disappointed..three roses, a lily three little sprays of white flowers and two tiny sprays of gypsophlia..the rest greenery! Company said it was Hubby s fault on delivery..will never recommend them..we had fabulous flowers arriving in the post from other companies..serenata are a rip off and now I can't believe how many bad reviews they've got but am not surprised!

Can't deliver on the day of the occasion, still blaming Covid 12 months later. Customer service appalling, cannot provide updates just excuses.
Extremely disappointed and distressed. Yesterday I tried to navigate 'Serenata's' inefficient web-site to order flowers for a funeral next week - took two attempts. I received a message today - WITHOUT a confirmation of my order details attached - stating the flowers I'd ordered for next week would be delivered today!! I KNOW I requested next week for delivery - Mon 12th April, why would I order flowers for a funeral to be delivered a week early?! Unable to contact 'Senata' by telephone, 'Cold' Email contact only from 'Senata' who are not taking responsibility for inept web-site. Not only have I wasted £40 but unnecessary distress has been caused to a grieving family. I wouldn't touch this firm with a barge-pole!
I intend to send my complaint in writing to 'Serenat'a' managing director, Martin Johansson.Flowers, teddy, card, vase
I am so disappointed about customer service. Ordered flowers with vase, toy and a card, vase came smashed. Contacted straight away. This is what I got for reply from Ana - ".... I will personally raise this with our floral team to ensure that more care is taken in the future.... I have issued a refund for the price of the vase."
Really? Is this business working only first day, they don't know how it should be packed? Is this a good customer service to give me a refund when you ruined my surprise for someone? Shame on you. Will never buy from you again, will never recommend you to anyone.Flowers
I ordered flowers to be delivered to my friends in Durham, GB, to celebrate their wedding, on the date and specific time guaranteed by the Serenata website. I paid a ridiculous amount of money for it, including the specific delivery window. I never received the notification of delivery made, so I tracked the order and discovered it was still being prepared 5 hours later. That wasn't acceptable, as my friends weren't going to be at that address later. I filled a complaint form on the site and got bombarded with compulsive emails next morning (time zone difference) making apologies and excuses but refusing to cancel the order and refund for the now-useless flowers. They just wouldn't stop with the emails. It got ridiculous when they proudly shoved their TOS at me, explaining their liability and lack thereof, and it became clear that not only they don't know the meaning of the word "guarantee," they also don't know the meaning of the word "liability" (vs. "refund"). I don't recommend dealing with them at all.
Flowers
Ordered flowers on the 4th December they delivered that & send the same order again yesterday 11/12/20 & charged me again.
I am not impressed hope this does not repeat."Freya" bouquet
Ordered a "Freya" bouquet of flowers for a very special family 75th birthday celebration.
Flower bouquet arrived in a small cardboard transit box. The flowers were mostly unopened buds with an excess of green foliage / only five roses were open. (The presentation of the bouquet was also poor as it looked like it had just been thrown together). The product obviously did not match the description photograph as shown on the Serenata Flowers website (which was important as they had been bought as a gift for a family 75th birthday celebration which was to take place the next day). Because the bouquet could not be used for its intended purpose a replacement had to be bought at short notice from a local florist.
There was also no telephone contact number for the florists who made them up so that I could get a replacement as they were supposed to be given to the recipient the following day.
I opened up a complaint on the Serenata website where I stated that the flowers were unsatisfactory and provided a photograph of the bouquet I had received as requested. I said I did not want another bouquet as it would not be delivered in time (and I had since bought my own replacements). I requested them to come and pick the original flowers up and for a refund.
I later received a reply from a customer service operator called “Ana” stating
"After reviewing the image, our floral team has confirmed that the bouquet has been made to the correct quality and size as expected.
If you are unhappy with the flowers after following the care instructions, please contact us again with an additional photograph, within 5 days of the delivery date, showing the specific issue and we will look into this further."
Unfortunately I hadn't got 5 days to wait so I had to go to Tesco and bought £40 worth of flowers and made my own display.
However I did as instructed and 5 days later the bouquet was still not fit to be used with many of the flowers still unopened. So again I sent a message to their customer services attaching a photograph of the bouquet which was still, in my opinion, not as described and thus unable to be used.
Then followed several emails back and forth with “Skye” and despite more photographs their customer service rep insisted that there was nothing wrong with the bouquet and even at one point insisted that I did a stem count (to my mind wilfully misunderstanding the nature of the problem and deliberately stalling / trying to deflect the complaint). They then stated that they were unwilling to progress the complaint any further and as a consequence of that I have had to initiate a chargeback complaint with my credit card provider for a refund.
This used to be a good company but it is not the first time I have had issues with poor service in the last year and now I will never use them again.
I would seriously recommend that anyone reading this review look elsewhere.Floral bouquet
Absolutely horrendous. Paid £40 for a bouquet that was not at all representative of the one advertised and purchased. It was 85% plain green foliage and was thrown together rather arranged in any way. Not too mention looking dis-shaped and squashed. I could have brought 100% more stems for half the price, put together in a much better arrangement from a local supermarket. DON’T BE TEMPTED BY THE LOVELY PHOTOS! You’ll be wasting your money.
They did send another one but they were just the same
Anniversary bouquet
Simply awful. Flowers and card both crushed. Flowers only fit for the bin.

Outrageous service. Very bad experience and stressful too!!!!
The flowers were due to be delivered on a Saturday (ordered in plenty time) but they sat in the 'local depot' all weekend and eventually got delivered on Monday afternoon! I believe Serenata knew in advance that they were not going to fulfil their obligation to have them delivered on the Saturday as was stated on my order confirmation. I emailed them and they used the excuse that due to the Coronavirus, there could be delays but this is quite contradictory to what they say on their website - see below:
COVID-19 - UK FLOWER DELIVERIES NOT AFFECTED
I let Serenata know I was not pleased as the flowers were sitting in a depot all weekend and they could easily have delivered them but they would not budge. I told them not to bother delivering them as I didn't want old flowers and asked them to refund me instead as I had wanted them delivered for a special occasion and it was too late but they didn't care - as long as they have your money - never mind customer service and satisfaction!
I have always used Interflora and they are superb, always delivered on time and give amazing customer service. My advice is to stay away from this unprofessional lot. I actually don't want to even give them 1 star but the review system doesn't allow this.
I will be letting all my friends know not to use them and will get them to tell their friends.Flowers
Don't order from these guys. Mother Iin Law place an order 4 weeks before delivery and they failed to deliver on time and think 5 days after is acceptable. Complained and now won't issue a refund. Take my advice go elsewhere!
£39 of mixed flowers
Nothing like the photo
4 stems short
I’ve always used interflora but thought I’d give these a try - arrived at 7:00pm !
Absolutely nothing like interflora quality
Could have picked something better up from the local petrol station for my wife’s birthday on my way home and would have been cheaper better and in time for her birthday ????
I would have given zero stars if the rating would allowBouquet
The flowers looked okay when they arrived, but within 3 days the roses were dead and within 5 days the rest of the flowers had to be thrown away. The company wanted dated photographs showing the flowers before they would investigate and as I hadn't thought of doing that nothing will be done. At £24.99 I felt they were overpriced and of poor quality. The company does not seem to care about customer satisfaction so I would not recommend them. There are better online flower companies out there who will give a much better service.
Starry night bouquet
Received 8 yellow roses, very dissatisfied, never order again.
Flowers
I’ve ordered the flowers (Moonlight roses) and a box of “luxury” chocolates for my mother. The chocolates were very small and far from being luxury. The flowers were half dead when they arrived and after 2 days they were ready to be binned. This company is a scam and a total waste of money.
Flowers
When I ordered the flowers I left specific instructions for the flowers to be left in the porch, the person at the delivery address was in the back garden, the driver left a card but no flowers, after consulting the delivery company they told me that there was no instructions of that nature on there delivery note, if I'd have known the courier company were DPD I would not have ordered the flowers.
Flower for my father-in-laws funeral
Sadly my father-in-law has just past away from Covid19. Since I now live in Australia I can't be at the funeral myself so I looked online for a company who promised next-day delivery in the UK and saw that Serenata Flowers promised this. I ordered on the 12th May 2020 and the checkout screen confirmed that delivery will be the 13th May. - I also got an email saying the same. Since the funeral is on the 14th, delivery on the 13th was essential - I was sending them to by brother-in-law to take to the funeral. I have just got a message through Facebook from his wife saying the flowers haven't turned up - she sent this message at 10:24pm 13 May. Apparently the company uses a courier and if this is a matter of the fault being with them then Serenata should either make sure their courier delivers the service or they should look for another courier. Very upset :(
Mothers day bouquet
Even after I booked and paid for flowers 3 weeks in advance…..
Even after I chose this company because they say they deliver 7 days a week……
Even after during the order I specifically selected 10th May (a Sunday)…..
And even after their reassuring commitment on the confirmation email that “… our gift guru is excited to roll up his sleeves and warm up his paws to ensure the present you picked arrives perfectly packaged and right on time.”
I then got an email at 9am on the day they were due advising they were unable to deliver on the day required.....(from the reviews seems I am not the only one).
They say they hope it did not detract from the sentiment and the intent - well of course it did! They were arranged for a date specifically because it was a significant date. The day after this had passed and gone and left the recipient feeling dejected because they thought we had forgotten! No offer of refund / cancellation just “sorry if you’re disappointed”. They did not deliver what I paid for – plain and simple.
Also….I know that they say in the small print (part of the confirmation FAQs after ordering) that unless you buy an additional card the recipient will not know who sent them. Never come across this before - ridiculous. Even more so given that when they opened the box there was a blank card.
Will not put my next important flower delivery in the hands of this company - or ever again.£37 of rubbish.
Awful doesn't even come close in describing this company. The flowers arrived crammed into a little long slim box that looked like someone had sat on. Even excusing the fact most were wilted beyond resurrection, the stems I did manage to salvage were mostly leaves and twigs. Shamefully misrepresented on their website, what you see is most definitely not what you get. Steer clear and save yourself the embarrassment of disappointing a loved one with substandard flowers.
