Solid cross necklace
I bought a Lily and Roo solid cross necklace 6 months ago. Lovely but very bad quality ! A little after I started wearing it, the chain opened up and I lost the cross thinking it was my mistake. But a few days after the chain opened up again and lost it. The clasp might have been defectuous... As I have no proof of the lost, they refuse to answer my message or give any kind of compensation. For a £165 necklace, that a is very disappointing service.

Ravenna Outdoor Dining Set
After spending days/weeks searching for the perfect outdoor table for our deck we decided to push the boat out on this set as it looked perfect. Cost a lot more than we had planned to spend (£800) but we viewed it as a long-term investment. How wrong we were! Within 5 months the surface finish has lifted off. Cox and Cox suggest bringing the table and bench seats indoors in wet weather! Not practical for outdoor furniture and British weather where rain is fairly consistent during the winter (and summer too!). Who realistically has the space to bring a 6ft table indoors every time it rains? So disappointed in the way the washed wood finish has simply washed off. Worried now that the wood will start to rot. Have bought a cover for it and will treat it when the weather improves. This set replaced an £80 Homebase table that we had for around 15 years with no problems. Proves you don't always get what you pay for. Overall disappointed with the product - especially considering the high price and long wait. Would not buy from here again.

I had been looking for a pair of shoes to match a dress I shall be wearing to my niece's wedding in September. My sister sent me a photograph of a pair she had seen in the Crawley branch, however although they had the range in the Uxbridge branch, they did not have the colour I wanted. However I have to commend the staff who went to every possible trouble they could to track down the specific type and to order them for me. They could not have been more obliging and helpful and it was done with grace and consideration. My shoes arrived three days later in perfect condition and I have even managed to find a bag to match, so I am delighted with my purchase. Thank you.
Graceland sandals, brown - love these sandals and colour look quite dressy. Lady at the counter was lovely, will go to Canterbury branch again as soon as I can. Thank you for great shoe selection.
I think some shops need professional and nice staff there are some exception where their behaviour and attitude is not for working with customers
Shopped at the Doncaster branch. A very helpful assistant. I wear size 10 shoes which are extremely difficult to find. I shall definitely go there again.
went to Truro today went in to look for shoes when I found what I wanted went to pay one assistant in front of me dealing with a client ,or I thought she was, no one else waiting, 2 others on their phones , just taking about pictures on their phones. no one bothered to speak just about to walk out and leave when they bothered to serve me. nothing spoken about keeping me waiting the worst serviced I have received in years. good job was 70miles from home wont be going there again.

Package delivery
This is an appeal for any assistance from someone who’s manager to get their money back from these scammers.
We sent a package almost 2 months ago. We’re given a timescale of 1 week. The package is confirmed as lost and after confirming that a claim is in process a month they’ve cut all contact and have stopped replying to our emails. We have basically paid a delivery fee and lost the contents of the package for nothing. Not fair at all.
We are in the process of a claim via the small claims court but would love some assistance how to possibly find a phone number for this dishonest ‘company’. Hardly ever complain about services/customer service experiences but feel it’s needed here as we feel they’ve stolen our money.Did you ever get a phone number for this company? My parcel was overpriced was their mistake, and they are not trying to coordinate with the receiver's query, receiver got a £500 bill to pay for tax for a £250 package.
Im now also going to take them to court, parcel missing since june ,emails saying they need more time,even today another email 17th September 2020, no phone number available.total con merchants

The first lesson was clear, had some great information and even though I thought I didn't need an introduction, I found I learnt lots of new things. However, the tutor speaks really fast and there's no time to take notes or properly understand the information. This I suspect is because Shaw Academy wants you to buy the notes ie: the Tool Kit and I totally understand that, because that's how they make their money. But they did advertise the first month's course as FREE! So I think give us the toolkit for free, just for the first month, so that the course is, as advertised, truly free. I would be much more likely to recommend Shaw Academy to my friends and family and better disposed to pay for further lessons or lessons in other subjects. Just a thought!

I have started the Digital Marketing course and I am very satisfied. The course is in the foreground and you get straight to the point so you can get started. The contents are conveyed in a comprehensible and structured way. Skills, knowledge, information and backgrounds about online marketing are explained step by step. The design of the information, color scheme, quality of the videos and voice are excellent. I am excited and curious about the upcoming lessons and modules!i enjoyed the module lesson 1 the only issue i had is they need to slow it down.it was hard for me to take notes and pay attention at the same time due to the fast paste but thank God i bought the tool kit to replay the lesson again.

Understanding based lectures , focused on concept clarification, gradual progress from start to end , great, love it.
I have absolutely no issue with the course-introductory photography. The instructor is excellent, William Eames, and he has a style of teaching that keeps one engaged from start to finish. Where I felt that there needed some improvement was in the structuring and editing. One quiz question was posted badly, where the questions were 1-5 and the corresponding answer boxes were 0-4. That and a few typos that sort of stuck out, were key. Possibly a few more emails than necessary...? Hahaha!

it's been 3 classes and so far i enjoy the academy!
Course is ok but the amount of text messages and emails I'm receiving is driving me nuts! And they're confusing too - half the messages are congratulating me on completion of my first lesson, the other half are reprimanding me for being late and/or missing my first lesson. Considering cancelling course because of all the bombardment of messages.
Although Laura was informative, the first class was very lackluster for me as it was going over all textbook content I already knew. Hopefully future modules will be more meat and less appetizer.

I am Very new to the concept of Online learning and to be honest i had no Idea of the this process would turnout to be but luckily i Got Shaw academy membership and Just to give it a try i enrolled for course in which i have interest in. The whole process of learning Is going very smooth and I feel immerse joy in learning new skills through their team of professional Teachers. I am new here its too hard to make an early review but the overall process till now is Going seamlessly well.!!

So far looks good and doable. I can get certified for something I've been doing for the last 20+ years. The link for my first quiz doesn't work so I get to test customer service too.
I was sold trying out Shaw on the offer of 4 weeks free trial, however, on day 1 I have already been charged USD 39.99 ( and it does not say in my account what this charge is for! )
I also got an overwhelming number of emails and texts in the first 24 hours - which is very off putting!
This is a shame as the first module I did today was well presented and I have already learnt something. The admin / payment side of things need to improve to match the class content level.Simplified for easy understanding with quite moderate speed of presentation. Intermitent posers by the faculty encourages attention and learning. And the opportunity created by the question box very good for clarifications and better understanding. I am glad to be in.
The class lessons are easy to follow. I really enjoyed all the examples provided and short quizzes to make sure that we understand the lesson. If anything, I wished the lessons were provided with an actual person that we could see. Other than that, it was great!
The video was very educational. I am excited to brush up on some of the elements and priciples of design outlined.
Good content. I just found it hard sometimes to follow and didn't feel like I could work on the first assignment at all because I didn't have the knowledge. I hope the future classes will give me more insight so I have the feeling to actually be able to keep up.

Two Christmas dresses
My two Christmas dresses for the holidays were fortunately delivered, on time! I order them quite late so am thankful the delivery worked.
The fit is quite good, I'd always rather it too big that too small.
In total it cost only 30 pounds for the two dresses! I also added a pair of earrings, because they were on saleMy God what on earth happened . Leggings that had holes . Two tank tops instead of a tank top and a shorts , I am also missing one of the shirt that came with the wide leg pants

I've also received my Mickey Mouse earbuds that I know aren't going to be fit for purpose, as reading reviews on other websites they only have a battery life of 4 hours and I need something to last for at least 7/8 hours.
Do you mind me asking what you did with yours? Did you complain to the company and, if so, did you get any response?
