Book purchase
I recently bought a book from an online store and had a really good experience from beginning to end. I was a bit worried after seeing some bad reviews, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. I placed my order on the 22nd of December and it came on the 29th without any problems. Ordering was easy, and I liked that I could pick between two prices - one similar to other online shops and one way cheaper for members. I went for the regular price since I'm not a member, and the payment went through fine. I got an email confirming my order straight away, and I got a UPS tracking number the next day. The book came in perfect condition, and I'm really happy with it. Overall, I had a good time with this online store and would suggest it to others who are worried because of bad reviews. Just remember to choose the right price option when you order to avoid any mix-ups.
"The Game of Life and How to Play It", Hardcover, Minimal Design
This was my first time ordering from this company, and I have to say, I was really impressed by the quality and design of the hardcover book I received. I'm a fan of simple and timeless designs, so I was over the moon to find a version of "The Game of Life and How to Play It" that suited my style perfectly. The black hardcover with its classic design really captured the essence of the book. I had already listened to the audio version of the book and knew I needed a physical copy to hold and refer back to. I ended up getting one for myself and one for a friend who I knew would appreciate Florence Scovel Shinn's ideas. The size of the book was just right - not too big or bulky, making it easy to hold at about A5 size. The quality of the content inside matched the beautiful cover, making it a valuable addition to my collection.
Big book haul with monthly membership
I popped over to Buuks the other day and ended up grabbing loads of books. I decided to go for the £15 a month deal, and it worked out way cheaper than if I'd bought them from a regular shop. The books arrived really quickly, which was great. Cancelling my membership was really straightforward too. Honestly, I don't understand why some folks are saying they got scammed. Everything is clearly explained on the website.
Christmas gift book
I bought a book as a Christmas present and I was really happy when it arrived on time, despite all the problems the postal service is having at the moment. They packaged it up nicely so it arrived in perfect condition. The customer service team were quick to respond and really friendly, which made my whole shopping experience great. I thought my experience was really good, even though there were a few bad reviews. The delivery came quickly and the prices were fair. I joined this literature club thinking I'd receive some great books every month, only to find out that they've actually been taking money from me for three years without me knowing! And the worst part is, I didn't even get a single book in return. It's a complete scam! I wouldn't trust them at all.

I bought a book recently and was absolutely shocked to discover that £15 had been taken out of my account every month for the last 19 months without me realising! It's outrageous! The company never even bothered to let me know about this ongoing payment. It's obvious that they are running their business in a deceitful way and don't care about communicating honestly with customers. I'm really disappointed in them and their staff for being sneaky. I suggest everyone stays away from this dodgy company.

They charge you loads of money and never refund it. The police gave them a warning in Denmark, but they just don't care. Do not purchase anything from them, they are nothing but criminals!
Book subscription scam
That's just absurd. It's a complete rip-off. You purchase a book and they sneakily slip in a contract with the receipt. You've got to actually read it! Next thing you know, you're roped into a contract you never agreed to, and suddenly they're taking £15 from your account every month! What for, I ask you? I blocked them from my account in 2021, but apparently that only lasts for 13 months. And then, they're back to charging you again. It's unbelievable that they can just get away with this!
Monthly membership scam
I've just had a really frustrating experience with this company. I bought something once, and then found out that I'd been automatically enrolled in a monthly membership without even knowing it. They didn't send me any emails or reminders about it, so I only realised when I saw the charges coming out of my account. It seems like they're trying to catch people out and hope they won't notice the regular payments. I feel like they've tricked me and I'm pretty angry about it. I'd recommend that other people steer clear of this company to avoid getting ripped off.

Monthly subscription service
It's absolutely shocking how this company signs up customers for a monthly service without their proper permission. It should be against the law, and it's unbelievable that they believe they can just do it without consequences. When I called to ask about it, the person I spoke to was really rude and dismissive, trying to justify their unethical behaviour by saying it's legal. It's not right for a company to operate in such a sneaky and dishonest way.
Overpriced book
I made a mistake recently when I ordered a book from this company and got caught out paying way too much. The website is sneaky and makes you believe you're getting a good deal, but actually, you're unknowingly signing up for an expensive membership. It's not right to be so unclear and use pricing tricks like that. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this company.
Membership scam
I am really disappointed with my experience at this shop. I bought something, thinking all was fine - I entered my personal info and payment details. Little did I know, I was unknowingly signing up for a monthly membership. I was so surprised to see unauthorised charges on my account each month. This is not okay, it's dishonest business. I wouldn't suggest this shop to anyone. Stay away at all costs!
