Oddly, the boiler worked fine before they touched it. I was hesitant to book them — had a bad run with installers before — but hoped for better. After fitting they told me to get another plumber because a downstairs valve was allegedly broken and couldn't be changed. My doubts didn't go away, though the fitter left the place tidy.
Oddly painless swap
I didn't expect a smooth job, honestly. Started off wary after awful experiences with other installers, but the whole swap was oddly painless. Booking was simple, the fitter turned up on time, and the price really surprised me — included all parts and labour in one fee, no hidden bits, honestly, about a third cheaper than others.
Mostly sorted boiler
the paperwork was slow and the quote could've been clearer. If you're getting a boiler, ask about exact timings and costs. Solid job overall, though.
Moment of relief
I knew I was happy the moment the first radiator actually got warm. After nearly a month being fobbed off by British Gas, a neighbour suggested I try Heatable. I rang on Tuesday and by Thursday two fitters turned up. The office was straightforward and the engineers worked flat out for about seven hours fitting a Worcester Combi 4000. Now I have heating and hot water for showers and the usual chores. Proper relief, honestly.
Quietly impressed
I was half expecting the usual faff after dealing with other firms, so the moment I knew they'd nailed it was when the engineer ran the boiler, talked me through two simple checks and left the plant room tidier than he'd found it — no fuss. Phone staff were helpful too (thanks John and Sophie) and the whole job felt organised and straightforward, and I was pleasantly surprised.
Nearly didn't go for it
I was proper sceptical at first — had a nightmare with another firm before and feared hidden costs. The online quote (yes, instantly) calmed me down. The engineer arrived on time, was friendly and cheerful and explained things properly (no jargon), fitted the boiler quick and left the place tidy. My new boiler already feels really more efficient. Price wasn't the absolute cheapest but felt fair. Glad I went ahead, honestly relieved.
Delivery seemed fine
Started with a quick delivery window but that’s where it stops. Install was sloppy — filter fitted the wrong way, hallway plaster knocked about and electrics left worrying. Boiler leaked after fitting and the heating controls didn’t work. Surprisingly the follow-up engineer was thorough and found the flue wasn’t connected properly — dangerous — but the company washed their hands and blamed the manufacturer. If you use them, double-check the install and get it in writing.
That rare relief
the paperwork could've been clearer, but overall very pleased.
Glad we went for it
All in all, getting a new boiler turned out to be the right call. The old one was on its last legs and repairing it would've cost about £500, which looked tempting next to a new unit at just over £2,000, but with gas prices rising and efficiency to think about we decided to replace. The website is easy to use. We ordered on Monday and it was fitted and working by Tuesday — a relief after waiting four weeks for a repair visit. Price felt fair. Service was quick and friendly. I'd recommend booking if you're on the fence.
Not for me, sadly
get everything signed off and insist on proper replacements, not quick fixes.
Mug in hand, storms and sockets
a van gave up, a part turned up late, the weather forced pauses, yet they shuffled times, came early and stayed late so the job finished when they promised. It's now part of daily life: tidy cables hidden behind the skirting, my home office sounds and streaming all clean, kids don’t tangle toys in wires anymore. I’m honestly chuffed — workmanship was solid, extra sockets done without messing the deadline, and I’m glad I took the chance.
A proper warm-up on a cold morning
the engineers turned up on time, explained what they’d do, and worked neatly. The boiler warms the house quickly, the hot water is instant-ish and the controller is dead easy to use — no faff. There was a tiny plastic clip that hadn’t been clipped properly, bit annoying, but they popped back the same afternoon and sorted it. Not flawless, but solid, and you can tell they know what they’re doing.
A bit of a rollercoaster, but some good bits too
I didn’t expect to start writing a review about wiring and thermostats, but here we are. I had the boiler fitted a few months ago and at first it was lovely — quiet, warm, just as promised. I remember the first morning it kicked in and the house felt properly cosy. That was the good bit. Then, a week or two later, I heard a knocking sound from the boiler. Not dramatic, but noticeable, and annoying. So I called them. The manufacturer came out under warranty and sorted that part, which was actually reassuring — they were prompt and knew what they were doing. That was one of those “phew” moments.
Boiler replacement with fitting and zero percent finance
I recently got a new boiler with fitting included from your company and I have to say, the whole thing went really smoothly and efficiently. The website made it super easy to get quotes that suited me and there was loads of choice. Having the option for next day fitting was a massive help for me, as I really needed a replacement quickly. The zero percent finance also made it much more affordable for me, which I'm really grateful for. The company's communication throughout the process was fantastic, keeping me updated every step of the way. The gas engineers, Rickey McIntosh and Tyreek from Lincoln, were a pleasure to work with. They were really friendly, professional, and did a great job fitting the new boiler. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.
Boiler installation
Recently, I had a new boiler fitted by Heatable and I have to say, the whole process was really straightforward. The website was easy to use and asked all the right questions about my property. They kept me updated with texts and emails throughout, even telling me about the engineer, Steve, who would be doing the job. The only problem I had was that some of the wiring from my old system didn't work with the new boiler and Hive hub. I had to buy an extra part, which ended up costing a bit more than I thought. This set the completion date back by a day. Maybe if they had done a physical survey beforehand, they could have avoided this. Overall though, I was happy with Heatable and Steve did a great job with the installation.
Boiler installation
I've just bought a new boiler installation service from this company, and I have to say, I was really impressed with how knowledgeable and skilled the staff were. They took the time to explain everything to me in a way that was easy to understand, which made the whole process a lot smoother. They also made sure to keep me in the loop at every stage, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking to get a new boiler installed.
Recently purchased heating installation.
I just wanted to say how amazing the customer service was at this company. I first spoke to Rob, the sales rep, and then Euan who did the installation, and they were both really helpful and made sure to take care of everything I needed. They answered all my questions without any delay and really made me feel like a valued customer. I had such a positive experience that I would definitely recommend this company to anyone else.
Viessman boiler, pressure maintenance
We've had our Viessman boiler for about eight months now and it's been going strong. The only little problem we've had is having to top up the pressure every now and then. It's not been a big deal though, and we're not sure if it's normal for combi boilers. We haven't found any leaks so it's a bit of a mystery. But overall, we're happy with our boiler and would definitely suggest it to others.
New boiler installation
I had a new boiler put in not too long ago, and I have to say the service I got was top-notch. The boiler turned up early in the morning, and soon after came the fitter, who went by the name of Ryan. Ryan was a real pro - he talked me through the whole installation process and knew his stuff, answering all my questions like a pro. I didn't realise how big a job it was going to be, but Ryan worked hard all day to make sure everything was finished on time. I'm really chuffed with how it all turned out and I'd definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a new boiler.
Boiler installation with minor hiccup
Getting the new boiler installed was pretty straightforward overall. However, we hit a little snag at the beginning as the initial choice didn't quite match up with the needed flue. Luckily, the engineer spotted this during the survey and came up with a different option that ended up doing the trick. The actual installation went off without a hitch and now everything is up and running smoothly. The engineer who came out was really diligent and made sure everything was done well. All in all, it was a really positive experience and I'm grateful for all the hard work put in by everyone.
