Started with a quick delivery window but that’s where it stops. Install was sloppy — filter fitted the wrong way, hallway plaster knocked about and electrics left worrying. Boiler leaked after fitting and the heating controls didn’t work. Surprisingly the follow-up engineer was thorough and found the flue wasn’t connected properly — dangerous — but the company washed their hands and blamed the manufacturer. If you use them, double-check the install and get it in writing.

Glad we went for it
All in all, getting a new boiler turned out to be the right call. The old one was on its last legs and repairing it would've cost about £500, which looked tempting next to a new unit at just over £2,000, but with gas prices rising and efficiency to think about we decided to replace. The website is easy to use. We ordered on Monday and it was fitted and working by Tuesday — a relief after waiting four weeks for a repair visit. Price felt fair. Service was quick and friendly. I'd recommend booking if you're on the fence.

a van gave up, a part turned up late, the weather forced pauses, yet they shuffled times, came early and stayed late so the job finished when they promised. It's now part of daily life: tidy cables hidden behind the skirting, my home office sounds and streaming all clean, kids don’t tangle toys in wires anymore. I’m honestly chuffed — workmanship was solid, extra sockets done without messing the deadline, and I’m glad I took the chance.
A proper warm-up on a cold morning
the engineers turned up on time, explained what they’d do, and worked neatly. The boiler warms the house quickly, the hot water is instant-ish and the controller is dead easy to use — no faff. There was a tiny plastic clip that hadn’t been clipped properly, bit annoying, but they popped back the same afternoon and sorted it. Not flawless, but solid, and you can tell they know what they’re doing.

I remember the first morning it kicked in and the house felt properly cosy. That was the good bit. Then, a week or two later, I heard a knocking sound from the boiler. Not dramatic, but noticeable, and annoying. So I called them. The manufacturer came out under warranty and sorted that part, which was actually reassuring — they were prompt and knew what they were doing. That was one of those “phew” moments.

Boiler installation
Recently, I had a new boiler fitted by Heatable and I have to say, the whole process was really straightforward. The website was easy to use and asked all the right questions about my property. They kept me updated with texts and emails throughout, even telling me about the engineer, Steve, who would be doing the job. The only problem I had was that some of the wiring from my old system didn't work with the new boiler and Hive hub. I had to buy an extra part, which ended up costing a bit more than I thought. This set the completion date back by a day. Maybe if they had done a physical survey beforehand, they could have avoided this. Overall though, I was happy with Heatable and Steve did a great job with the installation.

I just wanted to say how amazing the customer service was at this company. Viessman boiler, pressure maintenance
We've had our Viessman boiler for about eight months now and it's been going strong. The only little problem we've had is having to top up the pressure every now and then. It's not been a big deal though, and we're not sure if it's normal for combi boilers. We haven't found any leaks so it's a bit of a mystery. But overall, we're happy with our boiler and would definitely suggest it to others.

I recently bought a boiler and was really happy with how good the deal was compared to other big boiler companies. The price I was given was way lower than another famous supplier and the warranty was longer too. The whole process of booking and getting it installed was smooth, and I had a working boiler by the next Monday. The boiler is working perfectly fine and the person who installed it was really friendly, but I was quite surprised to see all the pipes and nuts left uncovered below. I requested a cover, but was informed that there wasn't one available for this specific model. So, I had to cough up more funds to create a cupboard to conceal the unsightly mess. Definitely a case of buyer beware!
