Plymouth to Roscoff trip
I recently took a trip from Plymouth to Roscoff and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The check-in process was straightforward, the sailing itself was smooth and enjoyable. The cabins were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. I was even happy to find a complimentary mini-bar stocked with drinks and snacks in my 4 berth cabin. The staff was incredibly helpful and the departure and arrival were right on time. I highly recommend taking some time to relax on deck and take in the stunning views. The restaurant offered reasonably priced meals and the portions were generous. My only complaint was the lack of complimentary breakfast for non-morning sailings. It wouldn't hurt to offer a sandwich or salad for those passengers. Despite this small issue, my overall experience was excellent and I have given a 5-star rating. Can't wait to use their services again!
Regular sailings to Brittany
The company can be a bit on the expensive side, but it's totally worth it for the convenience they provide. I go to Brittany several times a year and I always pick them because their service is always reliable. If you happen to miss the boat, they'll put you on the next one the following day without any extra cost. The crew is really friendly and the food, even though it's mass-cooked, is pretty decent. The bar on board is a great place to meet people and have a fun time. It's definitely a much better option than driving through northern France with all those tolls. After a good night's sleep, you wake up in the morning feeling refreshed. I highly recommend them.
Trip from Plymouth to Santander
The trip on the ferry from Plymouth to Santander was really great. Checking in was a breeze, and the staff kept us informed about everything, which was nice. Our cabin was really clean and quiet, and the bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The shower was good, but I could do without the shower curtain - not a fan! There were some noisy and busy areas on the ship, but also plenty of relaxed spots to hang out. Breakfast was decent and a good size, although the quality was just okay. We didn't have to leave our cabin until just before we got to Santander, which suited me fine. And all the staff were really friendly and pleasant - big thumbs up from me!
Ferry travel experience
I recently had the chance to travel by ferry and I must say, it was a positive experience overall. At first, I had a bit of trouble when I tried to make some changes to my booking online, but it seems like those problems have been sorted out now. Apart from that, I have to say that all my dealings with the company were really great. The customer service team I spoke to on the phone were so helpful and the ferries and their staff were top quality. Change in booking due to ferry cancellation
I was really gutted to have to pay £20 just to switch my crossing because the ferry wasn't running on my original booking. I'm a Club Voyage member, so I was a bit taken aback that they didn't offer any food vouchers or have any cabins free for me. It meant I had to rush to get on a different ferry tonight and endure a 6-hour drive instead of the usual 2 hours. The poor communication and inconvenience were just not on, really disappointed about it all.

I just wanted to share my recent trip on Brittany Ferries from St. Malo to Portsmouth – it was great! Everyone I encountered, from the booking clerk in Portsmouth to the crew on the ship, was so nice and helpful. I have to give a shoutout to the staff who helped with loading our vehicles and the onboard medic who was amazing in assisting my wife with her back pain. His medical skills and kindness really stood out. Overall, I was really impressed with Brittany Ferries and their service.

Starting off with sailing can feel a bit overwhelming, but I have to say Angie really made things a whole lot easier for me when I was sorting out my booking. She didn't just assist with reserving my ferry ride, but she also suggested a great hotel and took care of booking that too. Her warmth and willingness to help really made the whole thing much nicer for a newbie like myself.
