    The truth is each airline one travels with gives one a different experience entirely, whether good or bad. Some experience would have you yearn to travel with the airline again and again while others would have you regret ever using their services. Talking about the one that will have you yearn for more, personally I have found that in Brussels Airlines as they have portrayed professionalism in their responsibilities. Experts in their respective fields, good and quality customer service, fair flight fares and more. Who wouldn't like to fly with an airline where you are treated like the only that matters? I definitely like everything about the airline and will continue to use their services.

    Flight to Belgium with friends

    Me and my mates had a trip booked to Belgium for the end of April last year. Unfortunately, about a month before we were due to go, one of my friend's dad in Brussels got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. My friend needed to fly out early to be with his family, but when he tried to change his flight, the airline and booking agency wouldn't help him out. So, he ended up having to buy a whole new ticket for £75 from another airline. On top of that, on the day of the original flight, his return ticket got cancelled without warning, and there was no refund given. We tried to sort it out with the airline and booking agency, but they weren't very helpful at all. In the end, my friend had to fork out an extra £218 just to get on the same return flight that had been cancelled in the first place. The total lack of customer service and understanding from both companies just made a tough situation even tougher.

    Delayed flight, missed connection

    What a nightmare of a journey we had with delayed flights, missed connections, rude staff, and even fake vouchers. It all began when we were heading back from our holiday, only for the plane to develop an engine issue just 10 minutes before take-off. The whole process of getting it fixed, sorting out paperwork, and eventually taking off all took much longer than it should have, causing us to miss our connecting flight. And to top it all off, we weren't offered any compensation for the hassle.

    The utter incompetence and poor customer service from the airline staff left us feeling frustrated and angry. We were re-routed to New York with even more connecting flights, and the vouchers we were promised for snacks turned out to have fake barcodes. The conflicting information given by the airline representative just added more confusion to the chaos, making us question the professionalism and honesty of the staff.

    All in all, it was a truly dreadful experience that we definitely won't be forgetting any time soon.

    Flight refund delay

    I'm really disappointed that I have to leave a negative review, but I feel like it's important. Basically, I had a really bad experience with this airline. It's been two months since they canceled my flight, and I still haven't received my refund. The lack of communication and transparency from their customer service team is just not on. They keep giving me empty promises and endless excuses, which has made this whole thing a total nightmare. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using this airline to anyone. Save yourself from the frustration and headache that I've had to deal with.

    Flight cancellation customer service issue

    Although I generally like flying with this airline, I had a big issue when my return flight got cancelled because of a strike. Dealing with the compensation claim has been really annoying as it's been three months now and it's still not sorted. I've been contacting them every week for an update, but I haven't heard anything back at all. It's been a real let down how they've handled this whole situation.

    Check-in handbaggage drama

    The people at the gate kept asking to check my hand luggage even though it was the right size, while others were allowed to bring larger bags onboard. The situation was chaotic and I wouldn't recommend it.

    Expensive flight tickets

    I recently flew with this airline that claims to be really posh and top-notch, but honestly, it was pretty terrible. The flight was really long and they didn't even offer us a simple glass of water without charging us extra, can you believe it? And when passengers requested cushions and blankets, they were told they had to pay more for those too. It was really not cool, I mean, what's that all about? Other budget airlines may not provide much, but at least they are upfront about it. This airline tries to act all fancy, but in reality, they are just trying to rip you off. It's really disappointing. Don't be fooled by their fancy marketing, it's all a con!

    Flight cancellation

    I recently had a pretty bad experience with the airline. They cancelled my flight and didn't really help me out because I booked it through an agent who just sent me back to the airline. It seems like flight cancellations happen a lot with them. The cabin crew didn't seem bothered at all and weren't very helpful, especially when the overhead lockers were full and they just stood there even though the flight was already running late.

    Pet travel experience

    Flying with my pet on this airline was an absolute nightmare. I had to fork out an extra 60EUR for each flight just to have my cat with me under the seat. And to top it off, they would not take my small bag as it didn't meet their softness rules. So, I had no choice but to buy their bag for 50EUR, which turned out to be too big and fell apart on the first flight because it was so poorly made.

    Cancelled booking, refund not received

    I cancelled a flight with an airline at the end of December last year, well within their time frame. It has been over six weeks now, and I still haven't got my refund of around 650EUR. I have sent them many emails but have not heard anything back. I find it so frustrating that they are keeping my money without giving me any reason or even just acknowledging the situation.

    Extra legroom seats scam

    I was really looking forward to having extra legroom on my flight, but it turns out the seats I got were just normal ones! When I tried to get a refund, they said it was for safety reasons that they couldn't change my seat assignment. Total rip off, right?

    Flight delay refund request

    I had a major delay on my flight from Zurich to Billund, which was a codeshare with SWISS and Brussels Air. It was frustrating because the delay lasted over 6 hours! I applied for a refund straight away due to all the inconvenience, but to my surprise, I never got a response to any of my emails or calls. SWISS and Brussels Air were just blaming each other, which was really disappointing. The lack of customer service and communication was unprofessional. So from now on, I'm definitely going to steer clear of these airlines.
