I never had a cruise experience until with cruise action and one of my friend wasn't much happy with the last cruise sevice he had. he loved he journey though. but reluctant to go for.

ATROCIOUS LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have recently booked a cruise from Venice, urged on by the operator that it was nearly sold out. Upon doing further research I discovered we had been booked in to a hotel for 4 nights which cannot be reached by taxi but only by boat and then a walk through the streets of Venice. My husband is 71 and has had 2 heart attacks and we have an evening flight. The hotel is most certainly not suitable for us. I have spent 2 weeks speaking to Joanne Joshua, Beth, Michelle, Jo, Charlotte and others trying to make them understand that many Venice hotels can't be reached by road. NOT ONE OF THEM KNEW this and one of them even laughed at me when I told her. Up to now I have been offered different flights which I have to pay for myself, a different hotel which I have to pay for (at a higher price than I could find myself because they use an agent who adds on their charges) and finally £50 towards me paying for a new hotel. They have sent me details of the journey we will have to take to get to the hotel which is completely unsuitable in the dark with luggage. And that was why I asked for a different hotel in the first place! I believe that this would never have happened if their staff had been trained properly. They claim to "give as much information as possible before you book" but they clearly do not. I have wasted hours chasing them, waiting for calls back and emails. They are now ignoring me completely. DO NOT USE THEM, go to an agent who is professional and knowledgeable
