    I was to attend a course in Bangkok which I never been there before. I had only read about the place. So I had little or no knowledge about the place especially movements. It only meant that if my journey must be packed with nice experiences, then I need to book with competent hotel booking agency. A colleague who went the earlier year suggested I book via IHG. That was because he used the company for his booking the year he went and was satisfied with their services. At that point, I had to choose the services of IHG because I didn't want to leave the kknown good one and possibly end up with the wrong one. I went, got the nice experiences through IHG and came back happy and thankful I heeded to my colleague's advice. Awesome!!!

    Short stay at hotel

    What an amazing team when we got there! The concierge staff were so helpful and made sure everything was sorted right from the beginning. The club lounge staff were also brilliant, they really went the extra mile to make our stay the best it could be. Our room had beautiful views, was really nicely decorated and super clean, which made it very comfortable. Despite needing a wheelchair and extra equipment, they really made us feel important and looked after during our 2-night stay.

    Precruise stay booking

    I've stayed at that hotel before and it's really lovely. I had a bit of trouble booking car parking online, but Courtney was absolutely fantastic. She stayed on the phone with me until everything was sorted out. Courtney was so friendly, helpful, and really knew her stuff. I'm looking forward to meeting her in person.

    Best staff at the hotel

    The team at this hotel is amazing! Kim especially is just fantastic. She's always smiling, so helpful, and a delight to chat with. She's not only smart but also has a stylish and classy vibe just like Kate Middleton. IHG could really learn a thing or two from Stevenage on how to have excellent staff.

    Poor booking experience

    I had a really disappointing booking experience with an online service recently. I thought I was booking a hotel in a different place, but somehow ended up getting booked into one just minutes away from where I live. And to top it off, they charged my card for the nights without giving me a refund. When I tried to contact their customer service for help, I was met with rude and unhelpful agents who kept hanging up on me.

    Voucher code booking issue

    I had a terrible experience with central reservations. I cancelled a booking a few weeks ago and was promised a voucher code for my next booking. But when I tried to use it, I was passed around between central reservations and the hotel with no solution. As it turns out, the code was not real, and the staff member outright lied to me. I have been a member since 2019, but this has really put me off. Goodbye to such dishonest treatment of customers.

    Hotel Booking Scam

    Good morning everyone, unfortunately, I've fallen prey to this scam once again. I was fortunate in that I only lost €270, but it seems many others here have been swindled out of much more. To those reading this, if you ever receive a message from a certain IHG director who introduces you to a "manager", beware, as this is the beginning of the scam. They will prompt you to join a Telegram site - my advice is STOP, don't do it.

    Initially, they will offer you €20 and €10, go ahead and accept it, make a purchase on a legitimate site and be content with that. However, when they ask you to carry out the first "prepaid activity" and request at least €27, you might think "well, they already gave me €30, what harm is there in investing €27?" - that's when they trap you. The more you invest, the more you're promised to earn, and the more you get enticed by the prospect of money. Trust me, when you suddenly find yourself having to fork out €482 as I did, only to be told it's necessary to unlock all your earnings, you'll be in for a shock.

    But the real scam begins when they demand additional money beyond that initial investment. Stop right there, and if you can, spread the word about this scam to your friends, family, anyone you can. If any of you have a blog (unfortunately I don't), or a means to raise awareness about this fraudulent scheme, please take action. Losing money is awful, but not being able to prevent others from falling victim to the same con is even worse. LET'S PUT AN END TO ALL OF THIS.

    Stay at Mount Vernon hotel

    The hotel wasn't very clean and well-maintained. The windows were filthy, the hallway carpet was really dirty, and the luggage cart was noisy and falling apart. The coffee in the lobby was cold, and they only gave us one coffee pod in the room. We also didn't have enough washcloths and face towels. It's disappointing to see that the property has gone downhill since our last visit.

    Yeah, so I was staying at this hotel and I'm a really fancy member, right? But then when I needed help, the number I tried to call didn't even work! The chat bot was so robotic and it took ages before I could actually speak to a real person. In the end, I just rang the hotel directly and they sorted me out. It was so frustrating!

    Recent incident at hotel

    I wanted to bring to your attention something worrying that happened at one of your places. It seems that a large sum of money was taken in exchange for keeping surveillance footage of a violent incident that happened there hidden. This kind of behaviour is totally not on and really worrying.

    Revolut Account Closure

    After reading a bunch of comments, I've come to really think that folks aren't just handing out money like they claim. So, when I got the first 20 EUR for doing what they asked, I made up my mind to shut down my Revolut account and hand over the 20 EUR they gave me to try and lure me into their dodgy scheme. After that, I cut off all contact, fingers crossed I won't get into trouble down the line for falling for this scam.

    Issue with refund deposit

    I've been really annoyed about my refund deposit from my trip to Las Vegas. It's been almost a month since I came back, and I still haven't got my money back. The whole thing has been a bit of a mess, with little bits of money going in and out of my account which has been really confusing and annoying. I've spoken to customer service and they said they're working on it, but there's been no real movement. The whole situation just feels dodgy and I'm not impressed at all.

    I'm so angry that someone took my shirt from my room. I know for a fact that I left it there, but now it's disappeared. The people at the front desk weren't helpful at all and didn't show any concern about my lost item. It's been a really disappointing experience.

    Difficulty redeeming points online

    I tried to use my points to make a booking online, but I had a big problem - I couldn't update my delivery address. It seems like such a simple thing that customers should be able to do, especially if they've moved house recently. Dealing with this issue was really annoying and it left me feeling let down. On top of that, the prices for bookings on the website are much higher than other choices, which makes it less attractive to collect points in the first place.

    Sketchy job offer

    I got this dodgy job offer on Telegram from some random recruiter who said they were from a company. They were talking about a job that sounded way too good to be true, like I could earn loads of money with just a few minutes of work every day. But after checking it out and reading reviews on a reliable site, it was obvious that it was a scam. When I asked the recruiter about the job's legitimacy, they got all defensive and tried to convince me to join what seemed like a dodgy scheme. I'm definitely blocking and reporting this person on Telegram.
