Pescatarian meal delivery
I've tried Field Doctor three times now, but it's just not for me. The main issue is that the meals don't really appeal to my taste buds. As a pescatarian, the options are a bit limited, which is fair enough, but it's still a bit disappointing. I feel like they focus more on health than flavour in most of the dishes, which doesn't quite work for my palate. Having said that, there were a couple of dishes I did like such as the risotto, paella, and one of the fish pies (there are two types, one being low fodmap). The portions for the meals for two were pretty generous, and my partner and I felt satisfied after each meal. But we did find ourselves adding extra cheese and seasoning to give it a bit more oomph.
Low FODMAP meals with chili
I recently bought some "Low FODMAP" meals and was let down to see chili in a few of them. As someone with IBS, I understand how crucial it is to steer clear of trigger foods like chili. Sadly, the initial meal I had with chili left me in pain. Despite chili being classified as a low FODMAP food, I think it's best not to have it in these meals, considering how many customers have IBS. I recommend giving clearer information on products with chili and taking them out of the low FODMAP section completely. Because of this mistake, I've decided to stop my subscription and stick to safer, plainer options that won't give me any unwelcome surprises.
Healthy frozen meals
Oh wow, these frozen meals are really good for you, unlike other meal prep services I've tried in the past! There's no hidden salt or nasty e-numbers, thank goodness. They're frozen, so they keep for ages, but they do take a bit of time to heat up. And why is the fibre content so low? Is it because they're frozen? The meals can be a bit on the small side and have a strange texture, but I'm still finding them enjoyable. Customer service and delivery are excellent too - I've already placed my second order!

Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend Field Doctor for their great tasting meals and speedy delivery service.

But, there was a bit of a let down when I found some excessive moisture on the packaging, which made me think the food might have defrosted during delivery. I've already given feedback about it and they've told me they're looking into it.
