Anniversary chocolates
I just wanted to share my thoughts on the chocolates I ordered for our anniversary. They were absolutely scrumptious and looked really pretty too, which made for a lovely gift. However, I was a bit let down by the fact that they didn't arrive on time. I had paid extra for express delivery so they would be there on our anniversary, but they ended up being a day late. Even though Royal Mail said they'd be on time, they weren't. I got in touch with customer service, and they were quick to respond and refund the delivery charge, which I appreciate. But the delay was still a bit of a downer. Maybe it's worth looking into using different delivery services in the future to avoid this happening again. Overall, the chocolates were amazing, but the delivery hiccup did affect my overall experience.
Hot chocolate maker
After years of struggling with milk boiling over in the microwave and getting sprayed with chocolate from my old battery-operated hand frother, I finally decided to invest in a new hot chocolate maker. I looked at nearly a dozen machines but couldn't find the perfect one until I stumbled across the Velvetiser. Let me tell you, this machine is a game-changer! It's so easy to use, a breeze to clean, and makes the most delicious cup of chocolate you can imagine. Even though I'm not a massive hot chocolate fan, the Velvetiser's results have totally won me over. My husband was impressed too - he had it unpacked and whipped up the best hot chocolate in no time. Hotel Chocolat honestly has amazing customer service. I was so impressed by how helpful and friendly the staff were when I was shopping. I really appreciate all their help. The Velvetiser is fantastic, you have to get one. It makes the most delicious hot and iced chocolate drinks. And their coffees are just as good. I'm seriously in love with everything about Hotel Chocolat, from their wide range of flavours to their new products. I definitely suggest trying their products if you want a luxurious chocolate treat.
Birthday chocolates for cousin
I bought some chocolates for my cousin's birthday recently because she absolutely loves them. I opted for the new ice cream swirls, knowing she'd be over the moon. The whole buying process was really straightforward and the chocolates turned up right on schedule. My cousin said they were really well packaged, which was a nice touch. All in all, it was a good experience and I'm really pleased with the quality of the chocolates.
Online purchase of alcohol for store pick-up
What a disappointment! I ordered some alcohol online to collect in-store, but now they're charging for the service. The alcohol can't even be bought in the shop, so delivery and pick-up is the only option. It's really frustrating to have to pay extra for what was previously free. Why charge for a service that should come as standard? It just seems like a grab for more money and it's not left a good impression on me.

Oh my gosh! These Milk Better Way bars from our favourite chocolate shop are absolutely amazing. They're so creamy and tasty, like a little piece of heaven in a bar. And I heard they're made ethically, which is a great bonus! I never knew chocolate could be this delicious and also help the planet. Hotel Chocolat, you're the best!
Luxurious chocolates, including cognac-flavored ones
The chocolates I got from here were absolutely amazing. I had three packs, one with the fancy cognac-flavoured chocolates. They were honestly the best part of my birthday festivities, and I'm so excited to have more of these delicious treats.
