Halfway through signing up I noted the flexible payment options — that suited my hours and budget. The course layout is tidy, support easy to reach (unlike other providers), so I was cautiously pleased, a bit sceptical though.
Mostly pleased
Overall I'm happy with the support, though not flawless. Katie and Keli were spot on and answered my questions, which made signing up easier. I use the course for evening study after work. A couple of admin bits felt clunky, but it works and I'm relieved.
Sceptical at first
Started sceptical about signing him up during a gap year — unsure it’d be worth it or the right level. Needed the course to keep uni options open, and she even set a short diagnostic.
Worth the gamble
I wasn't sure at first — online courses had let me down before and I wondered if I'd stick with it. The enrolment team sorted admin quickly and answered daft questions, so my worries faded. I use the psychology modules in evenings and at work; it's practical, useful. Quite pleased.

It’s not flawless — a few slow replies and the site misbehaved now and then — but it’s solid and does what I needed and I felt relieved, honestly, mostly.

Better than expected
Honestly, worth it. My daughter did the course and I kept popping in with daft questions. Keli was brilliant, proper patient, explained things so I actually understood. She suggested extra resources I hadn't thought of and the quick replies were a lovely surprise. Not flawless — sometimes I repeated myself — but reassuring. If you're hesitating, sign up. Would recommend to folks juggling kids and work.
Nearly walked away
Halfway through the autumn term I remember sitting at the kitchen table thinking we'd made a terrible decision. Our daughter had a rough time in mainstream school (Year 9) and the first online platform we tried was poor, really poor. Signing up to Cloud Learn felt like a big jump into the unknown. Laurie on the end of the phone calmed us down — proper help with setup, funding, course picks, materials and the exam bits. She was patient, answered silly questions and actually got things moving. We were sceptical, then relieved; our Year 11 equivalent is doing brilliantly now. Glad we stuck with it.
The call that sorted it
I was mid-panic when I rang about an IGCSE Geography course for my daughter. The minute Niamh picked up, things calmed. She was straightforward and explained our options, even though the summer exam centre was already full. The moment I knew I was satisfied was when the refund was processed straight away and she laid out alternatives on the spot. I’d had a messy experience with another provider before, so this felt unexpectedly good. Short, efficient and human — I’ll ask for Niamh again.
Quick, helpful but not perfect
Morning tea, opened my daughter's inbox and there was Keli again — quick reply, practical suggestion, proper human. She's kept things moving while we've had health setbacks, and finally my daughter can sit her IGCSEs. Sometimes we did have to chase for updates, which was annoying, but Keli always found a workaround. If you're juggling illness and school, mention your limits early — it helps.
Quick, honest take on the A Level course
the layout felt a bit busy but once I dug into the modules on Hamlet, A Streetcar Named Desire, Frankenstein and Never Let Me Go I could see the structure. Poetry was okay, coursework texts like Wuthering Heights and The Bloody Chamber were actually engaging. The close-read stuff and themed lessons helped for mocks more than I thought they would. I finished around May (about five and a half months) — not ideal timewise, but it worked because the course is clear and the resources are focused. Got an A in the end, so my doubts eased off. Would say it’s worth it if you can stick to a plan; it paid off for me, even with a few shaky moments.
Smooth exam booking, patchy teaching
emails, confirmations, the lot. Customer service were useful too when I needed to tweak a date, polite and reasonably quick, so thumbs up there. The actual course content though... well, it felt a bit sparse. The site looked dated, exercises were thin and explanations sometimes left me hanging, so I ended up buying CGP books, bingeing YouTube tutors and even paying for another maths subscription. Slightly annoying, but it worked. I was sceptical at first (and kept thinking “is this worth it?”), but by the end I was relieved and properly chuffed with the result. If I were to recommend it now: use CloudLearn for the admin and exam delivery, do your learning elsewhere. I even told my cousin to just book the exams through them.
Quietly left on my own
I didn't realise how much I value other people until I started this course. At first the site looks tidy and easy to work through. It feels modern, pages load clean, the modules are laid out in a sensible order — that was the pleasant surprise. But most of the time it just feels like I'm studying in an empty room. There's a forum, technically, and the tutor does pop up now and then replying to messages. Trouble is, there are barely any students posting and the replies feel one-way. I would post a question and get a short answer back, which is fine, but there was never the back-and-forth you need to untangle a tricky topic.
Distance learning for 3 A-Levels
After spending a lot of time researching different options for my 3 A-Levels, we ended up choosing a company that seemed to fit our needs perfectly - they provided high-quality service and the tutors were really responsive. It was a tough decision, as there are so many similar companies out there and the prices are no joke. But after thinking about it carefully, we went with the one we decided not to mention. The experience was mostly positive, with well-organised lessons and tutors who were always quick to help if we had any questions. Unfortunately, we had to stop the course unexpectedly. Even so, the company was really fast in giving us a refund since it was still within the cooling-off period. Their customer service rep, Niamh, was really understanding and went above and beyond to offer support and good wishes. If everything goes well, we would definitely consider going back to this company in the future.

Niamh was amazing from the beginning to the end. She was really helpful, sorting everything out for me and answering all my questions. She made it really easy to book exams for my child who has extra needs. I would definitely recommend this company because of her.

Online learning platform
To be honest, my time with the online learning platform has been really disappointing and frustrating. The content they provided just isn't up to scratch compared to all the free stuff you can find online. The supposed "tutors" were pretty unhelpful and didn't really give my practice papers a proper review or mark them well. Plus, there were loads of spelling mistakes everywhere, which just made things worse. The lessons were so complicated for no reason, making learning way harder than it needed to be. In the end, I had to stick with textbooks and online videos because the platform was just a waste of my time and money. Not being able to upload images made things even more difficult, having to explain everything in detail through text. It's pretty clear that most of the good reviews for this platform are probably fake, so potential customers should really listen to the genuine 1-star reviews instead.
